Hi it's usually someone selling their collection or somewhere you'll stumble on it at a store. But there's no official place that sells vintage. Ebay can be a source but I would use caution. Estate sales maybe perhaps but you don't really know what's going to be selling at an Estate Sale sadly! :(
I bought a 4 oz bottle of the OG on eBay in pristine condition for $110, 4 years ago, still smells fantastic, is one of my favorite fragrances of all time, it's intoxicating. You made me curious about this one, I will try it, I already spent too much this BF 😅 Thanks for the review Sebastian!!!
I have pretty much given up on Ralph Lauren fragrances, but this one sounds promising. I'll have to give it a shot. I never got to try Polo Crest when it was around, so I will have to find a way to try it as well. Thanks for the insight!
Thanks Sebastian. You convinced me to pickup a bottle of Polo Oud. I haven't worn Polo in 20 years but it was just about all I wore in my 20s and 30s. I still have a bottle of it, but just don't wear it much. So I'm looking forward to trying this. Your tips are always wonderful. I also used to loved Polo Crest. I used that as my signature scent until they discontinued it. I still have a little of it left. I was so disappointed by the decision to discontinue it. Later I picked up Must de Cartier as a signature scent and that wasn't out long before the discontinued it, either. Eventually I moved over to Green Irish Tweed by Creed as a signature scent. Now I want some of everything so I'm not focusing on signature scents anymore.
Sebastian has been spot on with his niche picks, but scratching my head on some of his designer recommendations. Boss Bottled Absolu was a *huge* let down, to the point I'm wondering if I got a counterfeit bottle. Hoping Polo Oud is better 😊
Polo Oud is my favorite Polo flanker followed by Polo Modern Reserve. Polo Oud is very close to Polo Supreme Oud, but Polo Oud is stronger. It’s a great scent and it’s potent. It lasts 8-10hours on my skin/clothes. Highly recommended!!!
Smelled it today, this one is great smelling. Some compare it to the new Boss Bottled Absolu, and yes, their drydowns are similar, but I prefer the Polo.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Yes sorry the exact name for some of the comparisons in Fragrantica is Boss Bottled Absolu, so their latest release. That's the one I meant, sprayed both earlier and have the paper strips with me. In Parfumo the Polo gets associated to PdM's Carlisle, while the Boss with Leyton, Carlisle, and Red Tobacco.
Polo is a comforting fragrance. Throw in the oud and I can see it going unisex. From my experience a lot of women are discovering oud and rocking it like a boss.
Thank you! I feel like there is a clear difference between a woman driving her husband’s Porsche and one who owns the Porsche herself. I want that same energy in my fragrance-that confidence and authenticity. Some of the heavier beast mode ouds feel like I’m borrowing them rather than owning them. Looking forward to playing around with Polo Oud. Xx
Nobody this into niche is into perfume for compliments 🤣 Have you tried Versace's oud noir? Somebody suggested it to me when I was searching for something similar to Oud Wood by Tom Ford but actually projected and performed.
Sharing compliments you receive does not necessarily mean you are into receiving them. LOL. It means you wear fragrances loud and proud for people to like and compliment on them. And as of now I'm bored as heck with the Versace Oud Noir. I don't think it's more potent than the Tom Ford! :)
Dear Sebastian. Please give us video of most famous fragrances. But realy realy famous and dsired parfumes, and parfume houses, and fanciest master pafrumers.❤

Hello ! I would like to know on where you go to buy your vintage parfums cause I'm interested for the Ralph Lauren green bottle from early 80's ?

I just discovered Polo Oud few hours ago and began watching reviews and you just uploaded yours. 😮😃🙏
Welcome aboard!
It is nice to receive compliments! And to give it as well! Great review I've got to try it!
It is a great one! 😎
Interesting notes combination! I like oud fragrances during the winter. Thanks for the info!💯💯💯
No problem!

I have also tested Polo Oud, but i wana buy it for my dad as he used to use Polo green or morden reserve, i must say it is good for winter❤

You have my attention. This sounds like what I’m looking for. I like the traditional oud rose combo but always find that they’re too rose forward.
I was obsessed witth Polo Crest (RIP) and of course the origional Polo. I will definately get my nose on Polo Oud, sounds interesting.
Great video as always I have all of them but the original polo is my favorite.

Boss Bottled Absolu was a *huge* let down, to the point I'm wondering if I got a counterfeit bottle.
Hoping Polo Oud is better 😊
I still have my bottle of Supreme Oud I bought over six years ago. I'm glad also I'm still using my original Polo green.

I didn’t get a lot of similarities between the supreme versus this one, but I do enjoy this one for a designer fragrance Oud!!
Thanks I ordered mine through your link hours ago 🙏🏾
Awesome. I hope you enjoy it!
Wonderful review. I shared.
Thanks for sharing!
I really want a bottle of this.
I hope you get one.
I miss the OG Polo. I’ve gone to Apex to try to experience the old days a little bit.
Yep same Apex is so good at feeling retro yet not dated
I like the sound of this.
It's quite good, I hope you get the chance to get your nose on it.
Smelled it today, this one is great smelling. Some compare it to the new Boss Bottled Absolu, and yes, their drydowns are similar, but I prefer the Polo.
Since you put it that way, I have to check it out. Big fan of BBA.
I'll have to compare them side by side. Because I love Boss Bottled Absolue. I'm assuming you are referring to Absolue or the Absolute?
@@ThePerfumeGuy Yes sorry the exact name for some of the comparisons in Fragrantica is Boss Bottled Absolu, so their latest release. That's the one I meant, sprayed both earlier and have the paper strips with me.

An interesting compliment for sure!
Yes, I really think it is.
I hope you get the chance to try it!
Is it worth a bit more such as $80.00 from online seller ?
Aaaand it’s out of stock! 🤦🏻♂️
i love Polo Oud so much i have 3 bottles
the perfumers are Carlos Benaïm and Pascal Gaurin
I like Supreme Oud.
It was good for sure. Warm spicy with cinnamon.
I would rather wish that RL brings back the OG magic of Polo.
We can only wish but they will never do that!!
Unfortunately you'll have to get a vintage Polo Green for that. Until IFRA goes away we won't get that i don't think.
Why can't they just make a reissue for a limited time ? @@ThePerfumeGuy
I ordered two bottles yesterday for $42 each with discounts
Where from?
1 million Oud is my fav designer Oud
I will have to try this
thoughts on hugo boss bottled oud ?
Better than gucci intense oud? Idkkk
Can you do some of Anfasic Dokhoon scents
Once I discovered them and if I like them, yes for sure
Hope its not too masculine and I can pull it off! Ordered ✅
It's masculine for sure.
Polo is a comforting fragrance. Throw in the oud and I can see it going unisex. From my experience a lot of women are discovering oud and rocking it like a boss.
@@ThePerfumeGuy maybe layered with Les sables roses?
Yes re Les Sables Roses. Or even Rose De Taif Extrait by Perris.

Is this like Zaharoff Signature Tabac Leather?
I don't know that Zaharoff sadly so I can't compare.
Is it too masculine to use for females? I love Oud scent
It's masculine for sure but I think you can pull it off if you are into this style of woody western oud fragrances.
Damn your good
Well this isn't that discounted. Cheapest I can find is $75
You should try vanille havane by Les Indemodables I discovered it recently and its became my one of my favorites for winter
I have reviewed it like 3+ years ago.
@ oh wow didn’t know the fragrance was this old will be looking for the video 👍🏼
