    Sorry guys but I was around in 1962 when this tune was called "Telstar" and was a world wide hit for a group called the Tornados!

      Yrret Ksif Well I can't deny they do sound very similar. The band here are performing Jean-Jacques Perrey's 'Passport to the Future' from his album Moog Indigo released in 1970. Interesting...

      It's two different songs. "Passport to the Future" was released as a single in the summer of '69 shortly after the Apollo moon landing. It got some airplay but was not a big hit. Too bad...pretty good song.
