It's a plastic platform normally used in step aerobics... approximately 30" x 15" x 4". Because this quilt frame isn't on a hydraulic lift, he uses the step on the floor just below the front rail of the frame, to give him a little height, so he can see the back of the frame better. (He sets frame high to fit him ergonomically.) I'm guessing if it had a hydraulic lift, he'd lower the frame so he could see the back of the throat space better, instead of using the step. 💖🌞🌵😷
