You seem pretty knowledgeable about pre cons and these future projects. Do you think if they raise rates again buyers can offer lower price on precons that are 2 to 3 years out?
on assignment absolutely but from developer unlikely. Typically when you're 2 years out from closing you've well hit sales target for construction financing, so little or no motivation to cut prices
These condos look interesting. When Line 5 is fully complete these condos will increase in value greatly. So whoever gets in on these condos are sitting on a gold mine IMO. I like that these developers are thinking ahead instead of waiting until Line 5 is complete to build the condos. It's only fair to build density around the LRT stops so you can encourage people to take public transit as well as encouraging them to live there. I applaud their forward thinking here. I believe this location is underrated because you're nestled nicely in Etobicoke away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and you're not exactly in the middle of nowhere either. You're still close to all your amenities, and you're nearby quite a few parks as well. Perfect for someone who prefers a slower style of lifestyle without being too far away from everything. I enjoyed this video. I love looking at these condo projects and seeing how it looks now, how it'll look when it's built, and the value you can get for it.
