I own this watch and can confirm it is truly exceptional. Great quality materials and finishing. The Mecca quartz movement is very accurate. Great watch for money.
Nice review! The only one on youtube right now. This watch is being delivered to me tomorrow! I loved the looks of the red/black first version of the 1939, but it was already sold out by the time i'd heard about it, so i'm psyched to get this version (gotta love the sapphire upgrade too). @@neverenough_time5362 Yeah man the dial is truly stunning. I find myself so entranced with all of the subtle details that I forget to check the actual time when I look down at my wrist LOL. I went with the no-date as well, as I think it's a more balanced look. Distressed red leather strap? HELL YEAH! Post a picture of that combo!

Which one do You like more, The Earlier release, the All Black or this release - Chocolate?
I liked the look of the chocolate best but after wearing it some in certain lighting conditions the chocolate for was harder to read. I liked the white dial with blue hands, honestly they just make good looking watches.
@@neverenough_time5362 Thanks for your reply. In review videos and pictures the black dialed one seems to have more contrast against the gold chaptering, etc. which i really like. The chocolate one doesn't seem to have the same contrast. Well the black one is no longer available..so will have to content with the chocolate one i guess. I already have the 1937 Gold and 1964 Panda, so though the white one looks great don't want to get another white dialed DH.
The crystal seems still having lots of reflection and glare. Or just lighting?
It’s partly lighting, with studio lights I’ve found it tougher for me to not have some glare. One of the reasons I’ve taken to doing vids outside when I can, more true experience on the vid. That said the sapphire on this does reflect a bit more than other watches I have.

Horrible watch company. They refused return on a watch through pictures that I had on for 12 hours and never wore. They said it looked like I had worn it. I tried it on. That was it. Never never buy a watch from them
@@climbmaintain I don’t care what it says, that is ridiculous that you cannot try it on to see if you like it . The watch is an overrated Chinese Quartz.If the strap wasn’t so cheap no one would know I tried it on. And you can see no evidence that I tried it on on the band anyway. Horrible watching company.
