The teas and candies you see outside the restaurants are for when you're waiting for a table but honestly sometimes when i'm thirsty I will grab a cup of water or whatever is there as I walk by and the restaurants don't mind at all (it's actually really part of Chinese culture....of welcoming guest or friends!)

theres a mall i dont know where it is in China lol i saw it in another video.... but there was horses and a stable and a horse riding school or something on the roof!!! 400-500 million middle class now, the goal/trajectory is 800 million in another 20 years. And they say the CCP are "evil" and want to oppress everyone, I'd like some of that oppression right now.
I think Chinese malls are diversifying the business composition. There are more non-retail business like pet shops, pet zoos, restaurants, archades, cinemas and sports facilities than retail shops as most Chinese now buy online. Main activities is to attract families especially the kids.

Shopping centres in England are much more expensive, but they’ve got everything. I used to live in Southsea in Portsmouth. I always go to the shopping complex in Gunwharf Quays, it had lots of restaurants and stores, but I think it was 10 times pricier than Chinese malls. Me and my mates used to eat at Gunwharf Quays before going to Fratton Park for football matches. I miss those times a lot… I’ll definitely revisit there next summer. Enjoy yourselves in Xiamen!❤

The life in China is way much better than that in the USA unless you are extremely poor or extremely rich in the USA. You get basic welfare if you’re extremely poor but in China there is no such welfare and everyone has to stand on his/her own feet. Period.

I'm actually sad to see a "seal" in a shopping mall. They should be out in the ocean living a free life. We only got a glimpse but that might be a sea lion like the ones we have here in California.
