At 17:14:45, in the uncut version in a bastion, we can see SB hotkey a crossbow into his first slot, and unintentionally switch his sword out for it. I find it really funny that he lost his maxed out sword for a 1 durability crossbow, but if he ever does another 24 hours on that world, he knows where to find his sword.

Yeah but hardcore videos are 30 hours of recording and this is 24 hours of recording but mad respect to sb737 for doing it straight without sleeping 100 day videos he takes like a day or 2 day breaks inbetween

@@exterm1nator19 hi, I'm the editor. The hardcore recordings are rarely 30 hours. SB sleeps most of the nights so it's closer to 22-26 hours. In fact, around 4 hours in, SB is actually at 85 days or so (you can tell when he opens the F3 menu in the full 24h version on the SB737+ tomorrow) which means the full 24 hours is around 100 days.
That being said, the amount of footage delivered isn't what determines how much editing is involved. The amount of talking does. A 30 minute long 100 days video takes far less time to edit than this video because this video is 3x longer.
And SB doesn't really take brakes in between his 100 days. He records pretty much every day

he left his sword in the bastion chest that he said was a waste of time if your wondering. Also great vid. I've seen some people do it but they just play for like 2 hours then sleep for 22 hours so seeing the challenge actually completed is really nice to see! Keep it up!

Second, unfortunately, according to this video, SB lost his sword between 6:45:13 and 6:40:17 when he noticed he lost his sword, probably when he was visiting a bastion previously at 6:45:13 or, just throw it out while flying

Edit: in this cut version he doesn’t show him doing it but in the uncut version he says there’s nothing in there then opens the chest again swaps the sword with a crossbow then uses the crossbow it breaks then he flies away.

just watched thru the full 24hr one and you left the sword in a bastion chest when tryna get rid of a crossbow in ur inventory. roughly at the 6hr 45 min remaining mark. love the vids and keep up the good work
I think it would be cool to see you do a part two in this world!
You could focus on making a base, including fixing your Iron Farm and setting up a trading hall/village. Also, you could set up a mini-nether-hub for fast traveling to The End.
You could also set up Creeper and Sugarcane farms so you never run out of firework rockets.
Also, diamond and emerald beacons.
And then you could combine them and throw in some Netherite blocks to create a "hex-beam" beacon that provides all 6 beacon effects.
You could also try making a fish tanks (with a separate tank for axolotls). Oh, and you could set up an underwater portion of your base using a conduit!
You could also take out the Ender Dragon a few more times to fill out the ring of portals.
I see great things in the future of this series (if you choose to make it one).
Congrats to both SB for 24 hours of non-stop...

Well, he was in easy mode, any close calls in easy mode could be death in hardcore with higher mob damage.

As someone who routinely stays up past when they should in part because of my insomnia, there's a point where you start feeling buzzed up and how long that lasts until you start to crash depends on the person, the circumstances, and the training. I'm very good at staying up past when I showed because I do it so much to the extent where I can frequently make it all the way back around to bedtime without you know falling over

I have a long story about this guy. In about 2021 I discovered his channel and loved his hardcore videos. I showed him to all of my friends, but I took a break from Minecraft (which I’m soon ending) 😂 and I stopped watching him, however this is the first vid I have watched in a veeeerry long time (I have subbed!)
I’ve discovered sb around 2017-18, when he still did his awesome World Series, but still that’s pretty awesome
I love watching sb because I watched like 15 minutes of this and I swear it felt like 30 seconds, and I get bored easily so long-form Content is hard to watch but this is amazing

A quick tip for you SB/fyi...........The closer to broken an anvil is, the more expensive any process is. Because of that, once you have a good flow of iron, not waiting till the anvil breaks will save you a lot on your levels!

A suggestion for a video or even a series would be to turn off “generate structures” and do 100 days. The problem I have with watching 100 days is that people get op so fast that it doesn’t matter what they do, there is never a risk of armor breaking, limited food etc. I’m not saying you couldn’t get op, but it would take a very long time compared to the first 100 days in your main hardcore series (and I do enjoy the series) but you got full diamond and killed both bosses in the first hundred days and I think it would be more fun to play and watch if there was constant risk of being nuked by a creeper
Edit: I’m aware you’d probably be able to get prot 4 easily using an enchanting table, but mending and unbreaking as well as many more enchants would need to be found
