The wire below the weight with detect and touch the bottom. When you are the trolling, it will make the rig bounce up and down, keeping the spinner and hook off the bottom and or snags. This set up can used for trolling in all fresh water. It would also work in certain salt water area for flounder.
That works for me, I got a few Bass and Flounder when I fish fresh water and salt water. Nice video, well done.
Best explanation I've seen as I try to learn more about the best rigging for walleye. Well done!
This is perfect, and it gets right to the point, Ill definitely be using mine here soon
Thank you so much, that was a perfect How to for someone like me who is just learning!
thanks for the video, 2 questions.... what speed do you troll at, and do you like a floating lure or sinking?
Do you tie the main line directly to the bouncer or can you use a duolock clip?
Nice set up!
why is the wire extending below the weight around 3 inches? can this be used on rivers...

OK , I have the same question - river also or just lake's ?
@@ABC-jb2rg can the bottom bouncer be used in a river ?
Say , was your question answered ? If yes can you share the info - thanks
Can I use this setup for surf fishing ?
Do you have to troll to use this or can it just sit?
Always trolled with it.
Add blades that spin to attract walleyes
Is this rig only for trolling? What if I wanted to fish off a pier into some deep water, and just retrieved the line? Is this rig still useful?
We'd recommend this setup for trolling. Try a Jig setup for deep water retrieving.
What bait do you use?
What line are you using for your leader?

How do you know how much weight you need?
Rule of thumb. About 1 ounce per 10 feet of water.
Thin teck. Thin tec system. Not sure if that’s the correct spelling, I’ll try it,thanks
