FAKE YETI!

- So a few weeks ago I saw people on a few Craft related FaceBook pages talking about the YETI Tumblers being sold for less than $15. I had to check it out. I thought it didn't make sense that YETI would sell their product so much cheaper through Amazon, so I called them. They are fake, a ripoff, not real, counterfeit if you think you are getting the real thing. This isn't new for China. Some people on the other hand think it's YETI that's ripping people off based on Comments from my video on YETI vs Walmart.
Looking for things I use in my videos? Look no further.

Thank you just ordered a fake one
Same😂
But there still good there the same thing
+MinecraftPlaystation i'm from Chicago 90% of the public water we drink has lead in it
+MinecraftPlaystation all water has lead in it
I think the tumbler is fake, but the quality is not fake will be OK, both stainless steel, face tumbler is much more cheaper, and quality the same. cup is not like electric products. whether it is fake not that matters.
That's it! *I'm buying 3 of the fake Yeti's. They look great and at a great price!
Your comparison sold me.
If it works Ill take the knock off
Travis Gill It is actually performed better in tests than the authentic Yeti! That's the ironic kicker!
I saw a $9 online and it has great reviews, one said ice were still in the cup after 6 hours
Courtney Paige *WRONG* I've done the test myself and the yeti all performed at Walmart one that my mom has
Yep. Fun fact. Yeti and rtic(8 dollar w almart brand) are made at the same factory with the same parts.
I have worked in factories where we labelled our products with a specific name but also labelled the exact same product (not seconds) with a bargain brand label for much cheaper. They were the same product but being marketed for a different consumer. I think these were probably both actually yeti products but yeti does not want to admit they are selling the same product for a much lower price point to a different market. Everybody can get a yeti product and be happy while also advertising to “their” same group of economically minded friends.
Pretty sure the lawsuits and confiscated items at customs would indicate they aren't doing that.
very helpful thank you. I would be pissed if I bought a counterfeit for the authentic price, but thanks to your real vs fake analysis I would know what to look for. thank you so much for the video
I find it ironic that everyone thinks they are being scammed or ripped off when a company offers a non essential product for any price they feel like charging. Who do you think should be the arbiter of profit? I think it should be the consumer. You don't like the price, vote with your feet. Don't buy the product. Those that chose to aren't stupid or being ripped off, they have decided the time they work to purchase a product is a fair exchange. If everyone thinks it's too much, the price comes down or the company stops making the product or they go out of business. Where is the scam? Where is the ripoff?
Whatever, Juden. The copies work literally exactly the same and go for like $10
donnsald trump funny thing is the generic ones usually outperform the yet.
I agree, but there's a problem when the $8 knockoff works as good as the real thing with the same level of quality. If you charge more money, you should be getting more for that money. Having the name Yeti on the side won't cut it.
Guri Zeigerman even though it appears to be the same, it's not. Even if they are the exact same material shape and logo they are not the same cost to the companies selling them. Could YETI reduce their price? Sure. They would need to change their entire business model to do that. One thing would be to cut out the retailers they currently sell to. The second, stop sponsoring athletes, sporting events etc. Next get rid of their sales force. And so on. The very same people on here complaining about YETI probably don't wear Walmart jeans or Walmart tennis shoes. Even though they very likely perform exactly the same.
Walmart Ozark does marginally as good and in some tests better than the Yeti.
98% same performance. tested and proven to do pretty equal in performance. The math shows marginal and only stat level difference.
Ozark $7.74 , company making a profit.
Yeti $30.
You do the math!!
Yeti is some GREEDY company! Now if I see Yeti, I repel!
If you own a yeti, it can be associated to being clueless, misinformed, having expendible funds that you could have done something good with, careless, and just plain "duh"!
Did the tops fit if you swapped them?
Si, Senor.
Dang, that's good to know! That is just like stealing in my book. Thanks for sharing and thumbs up.
There may be more than one kind of counterfeit for the rambler series...
My Yeti had all the signs of the counterfeit you showed, except the lettering and the sheen match the real one you showed.
Strangely enough it keeps ice cold for several hours in a warm room, no problem. How well does the real yeti do?
10 min to compare labels yet we see nothing about the performance comparison. Everyone can be a youtube sensation.
ruclips.net/video/83MqrYM81eQ/видео.html
I'd buy the counterfeit. If it keeps my drink cold like a yeti and is 20 bucks cheaper then so be it. Nobody is going to grab my cup and say, "hey, that's not a real yeti"
JD Machines true.
but its not 100% steel and its gonna give you weird taste
We got a real one from .a car dealer giving them away from the company as a promotional gimic ..
I ck THANKS TO YOU EACH POINT CHECKED UP .THE PAPER BROCHURE WAS VERY NICE MY KIDS WANTS A COOLER ...THE 25 YEAR OLD HAS A PRO FISHING CHANNEL AND U WOULDN'T BELIEVE THE FREE STUFF HE GETS FOR REAL .Boxes get dropped off all the time at our house....he has over 35 to 40 rods ..I tell ed one day to take the 6x6x6 box down stairs ...he said MA those are 200.00 easy ..be careful. ...I had no idea ...
Until I saw your video I was looking at yeti coolers for a gift ...then I saw the cup ..verso ..so thanks I love to give quality. .u helped
Darla Turcott
Has anyone actually tested the thermal performance of the two? Isn't that what's important? I know for a fact that the RTIC tumblers hold heat and cold longer than the YETI and that is the important issue in my book. Performance is much more important than the cache of a snobby name value.
David Leonard keep watching. I have several testing videos.
Tundra coolers are manufactured in the USA at facilities located in Iowa and Wisconsin as well as at a facility located in the Philippines. Hopper coolers and Rambler drinkware are manufactured in China
glad you made this but it was hard for me to figure out which one was real while watching. the label threw me off because I thought you were saying the fake one was the real one from the description you gave. I think labeling each with a sharpie or something would've really improved the video. it was hard for me to keep up with which one you were referring to as real and fake. keep up the good work though!
+hotbam37 good tip. I actually did just that in one of my following videos.
If you buy online , make sure yeti authorized seller and they accept returns . Fake yetis are no money back policy. Big tip off.
Although they are not branded Yeti you can buy the same or almost the same cups at Wal mart I just don't understand the attraction to a CUP that claims to keep beverages cold or hot for days ( they don't really in real world similar to all the cooler claims) I don't think people sip on the same cup of water or their beverage of choice for days on end, I know I don't usually an hour or two tops before Ive consume the liquid not needing some over priced super cup. If people want a beverage storage container, which is more of what I believe it's marketed as, they should just go old school and buy a thermos brand thermos if they intend to keep beverages at temp. for extended periods.
Yeti's are way overpriced. Walmart or Sams sells their own version just as good for less than 10 bucks. I have 3 of them (one is a 20 oz for $7 and change).
So how much should YETI sell theirs for?
You decide. If you can get the same quality and functionality from Walmart's $10 tumbler (30 oz) as a Yeti, why pay 3-4 times more for a Yeti? The name? I have purchased 5 tumblers so far from Walmart as they work great and make great gifts.
+RixCanDoit I've but hundreds of all sorts. Mostly at the customers request. I have a degree in Marketing and in one of my 400 level courses we played a computer models game where you had to pick a price for your product based on a variety of factors. If YETI lowered their price to $10 could they make money? Would the current distributors keep carrying their products? Keep in mind that YETI has a completely different path to market than Walmart who is the manufacture and retailer or RTIC who doesn't have a distribution or dealer network at the retail level. So I'm curious how many more they would sell if the lowered their price. If they could somehow make a profit selling at a lower price point, would they sell enough more to stay profitable?
+RixCanDoit bought.
I'm just saying that paying $30-40 for a tumbler when you can get it any day for less than $10 nuts. While I'm sure Yeti isn't going to drop to $10 as that's unrealistic, keeping it at their sky high price is going to cost them in sales.
Does it work the same? and if so why is yety charging so much more ?
How would you compare the construction/durability of the offbrand Yeti to other cups such as the name brand Yeti, RTIC, or the Ozark?
Identical. I can't determine a difference other than the Brand on the bottom maybe being stamped a little harder, the color of the lid a little different etc... Since you asked though, I will do an Ice Test and weight them side by side as well. I'm guessing it's not 75% different.
+ManCraftingTM Thank you, will be nice to know I enjoy your videos quite a bit, expanding my horizons to cups as well since watching your videos. I have built 4 of your stands for batches and they work perfectly, thank you very much, dont know what I would be doing without you.
Great video! After watching and studying the Feti vs Yeti videos, I agree with your initial assumption of them being factory seconds. After years of business, Yeti is bound to have tons of tumblers that do not make the cut. I know of a duck call company that orders parts from China. Sometimes the parts do not meet the standards of the company. It is too expensive to send them back to China, so they salvage them. I would think Yeti would do the same. Yeti doesn't have to spend as much on the tumbler if they use a lighter, slightly changed wrapper with no glue, no brochure inside and buying that many stickers, they probably cost just pennies.... If they sold factory seconds on their website, no one would ever buy the first runs, so they wholesale them out. Just my opinion, of course.
This man just saved lives.
How do the two stand up in a side by side test of how long they keep things cold / hot? If no different then I would rather buy the fake... they may even come out of the same factory for all we know.
OK I know I bought a fake YETI. but do the original cups get 1/2 inch sweat on top when fill with ice? that's what my fake yeti cup shows.
so I got mine off amazon my label was glued onto the yeti and everything acctually inside the yeti is legit however the bottom of the cup logo does not alight with the lower logo towards the bottom of the cup is my yeti fake or real? I spent 32$ on it from amazon.
Nick Clark is correct. My wife and I received two Yeti mugs from a friend here in Bangkok, Thailand. They cost us $14. I questioned if they were genuine and she said she said that they were! Anyway, they work really well but we do not have a certified Yeti to compare them to but hey.
So, are they both fakes? Dude never fully explained himself, he just keeps referring to both of them as "with this one", so I'm confused about the contents of this video.
You bet, this guy could've added some indicator to clearly identify which one is which!
CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER?
sooo, are there any difference physically? like whether it works the same?
They work the same.
I purchased my 10 oz Yeti at full price at my local Academy Sports, and the bottom logo doesn't line up like you mentioned. So either this retail chain store purchased their lot from eBay/Amazon or not all Yeti's come from the factory 100% perfect.
Got 2 of the Ozark Trail ones for $9. They are awesome and work perfect.
agree
I own a yeti 30 and ozark trail 30 oz tumbler.. I only take the ozark trail to work... its 1/3rd the price and I like it better. ohhh yeah.. a drill bit and you can make a straw lid on ozark for free
YES!!
I just wish it didnt say ozark trail all over it :/ they'd sell so much more if they just made a clean one, maybe a logo on the bottom just so people still know what it is. I dont want a mug that screams wal mart special.
Travis Pratt you afraid people will see your cup and think less of you like you're poor??? #1 fuck em and #2 who cares.. life isn't about brand names brother. you'll learn.
Ps. Would love to see a side by side testing of these 2 bottles to see if they compare equally or if 1 is way off. Would even be better to have a few of each to get a better test in case 1 just happens to be a “dud”.
Tammy Spencer ruclips.net/video/83MqrYM81eQ/видео.html
Apparently I bought a "knockoff", although it works perfectly. I had no idea, I thought I bought the real thing for $20.
How about testing the ability to keep drinks cool? We're just paying for a name on overseas crap like this anyways. If one cup says YETI for $60 and another cup does the exact same thing but says BUTTHOLE for $13,,,,I'll be a butthole :P
malendante I actually did a test. It's part III of these videos.
Close enough but does it keep ice and stay cold as long as a Yeti ?
let me clear few things out, to compare a product, you have to compare what the product does not the labels, do a that test then show us the result, so that we can believe you, from what I am looking at you are just comparing, two identical products with small difference on the outer presentation, In other words, new lunched products can improve the quality of the presentation ( labels and stickers ) and at the same time cut the cost, means the glossy labels and manual cost more than the smooth Matt finish, and the label size without the bottom cut = less cutting = less cost....and finally the stickers, really ? more white dots on the design ?......in the end PROVE it by showing the real test not by WORDS !!
*** this is not hateful speech or discouraging comment, at this point is to finalize my words with only two:- Video Disapproved***
Yea man i agree, i think perhaps he just believes if it looks like the same thing it is the same thing, i'd like a like a little more info on the smell, if it gives a bad taste to water, if it has a different finish (which it seems like it does, ones shinier) if it keeps stuff cold and hot exactly the same etc. its obvious theres fakes, you can go to aliexpress.com and buy em for $12 shipped and they blatantly tell you its a 1:1 copy, not an original. What i was looking for is if they're inferior copies or yeti is just price gouging and stealing from their customers.
I have yeti, ozark, and aliexpress "yeti". They all work the same. I haven't tested to the second but within the same hour. No smells and the water doesn't taste funny.
The ice lasting is what I meant by "within the same hour".
Moe Stone totally agree!
Moe Stone i agree
I like the yeti name/line of products, but I strongly dislike counterfeit yeti products.
Does the counterfeit work the same as the authentic one?
my question is this, does the feti keep ice as cold or the same length of time as the yeti? Also, the walmart brand Ozark trail beat the Yeti in holding ice and temp. it's also 10 bucks compared to 40. I bought one for everyone in my family for the same cost as buying one yeti. just throwing that out there =)
That is correct. And I just completed a test. Yes. The counterfeit YETI performs the same.
we'll have to assume even though they have slight cosmetic variations the end result is the same... keeping my drink cold.
I'll take the cheaper knock-off version since they're both made in china.
I just watched 10 minutes of a man dancing around the fact that the main front of the label is completely different....
J Quindel no kidding bro. That's all he could really say. If yeti is made in china and the counterfeit is made in china....then they are the same quality!
That makes no sense. The quality Chinese crafted items ranges from top of the line, high quality to complete junk.
dont forget he complains about the label inside NOT BEINF FOLDED OOH THE HORROR...
The ultimate test would be if you have used the cups and are there any difference as far as keeping the liquids cold or hot
man it took him forever to identify which one was the fake
Thank you for showing the fake and the real yetis I love Yeti it's worth the price you pay. Save up to get your Yeti you'll never go back I tried it I would not have any cheap ones again saving up for cooler next saving up for a cooler next I want to get the smallest one for ice handicap can't walk much but it does keep ice ladies.
did you test the cups themselves on performance ? I have they are the same cup. the logo you talk about that is around the cup is the ORIGINAL Yeti logo, before the Rambler series started. (but you act like it is not a Yeti logo, it was. I have the original Rambler 30's . still it performs like a Yeti without the Yeti price.
Wow the label is different. Realy? what about performance?
Very helpful, thank you. I'm looking into if I just purchased a fake.
PSA Rtic is Yeti. The actual inventor of Yeti owns Rtic. They were 2 cousins and both held the patent. That's why They looked a lot alike for so long. Rtic just cuts out the middle man to save money. They have to pay a little percentage of their profits to Yeti because of a court ruling. I have an Artic cooler it was half the price of the comparable Yeti and I love it. The other cool thing is all the accessories for the Yeti fit my Rtic cooler. So if you're looking for the same tech at a better price check out Rtic.
James Baldwin I have no issues with RTIC.
My sister ordered a knockoff Yeti that came powder coated. We know it's a knock off but nobody really compares. I must let you know though, the branding on the bottom of the Yeti compared to the fake isn't 100% reliable. My sister's is perfectly lined up. I compared it with my brother's authentic Yeti that I purchased for him for his birthday from an authorized dealer. So just be aware that some of the knockoffs maybe have those markings lined up. And at $40, I'm happy with my cheaper Rtic and my sister is very happy with her $13 knock off. And my 80 year old mother is doing backflips over her $10 Walmart special. Funny thing is, they're all made in China in the same factory. As a retailer, I'm thinking of carrying Kodiak tumblers. At least theres are made in China but powder coated in the USA.
Nathan Garza
camping section Wal-Mart,stainless steel ,no sweat, insulated, comes in two sizes ,will hold ice for over 24 hour
how do they compare on performance are they close
I wish that I waited a little bit longer to get one of the cheaper versions. I do plan to buy some as Christmas presents.
did u puncture them to see if both were vac sealed?
My boyfriend bought what he thought was a Yeti Rambler from our daughter's school bookstore, they had put a sticker on it with the school Emblem and he paid Yeti Prices for it... only to find out WHEN THE LID BROKE AFTER A WEEK that it was a knock-off. Yeti was awesome and honored the warranty and sent him a new lid, but he was really upset by it. The problem comes when people are dishonest and charge full price of the real thing for a fake.
Hailey Bailey the problem is when people don’t care if something is stolen just because it’s cheap. Yeti warrantying a stolen product is kind of weird. Good for your boyfriend but what is the incentive to buy authentic at all if stolen still comes with a warranty.
Has anyone tested the lead content of these? Why are any of us drinking from cups made in China anyway, especially over-priced ones?
Still not getting peoples obsession with "name brand" stuff when quality is the same. i.e. Ozark trail vs. Yeti.
I observe, not a fake, possibly "old stock"
rather than a replica
maybe in the distant past an unsold quantity was acquired by someone whilst the improvements were seen in newer constructs(?)
it's just a cup for fashion. I do like the rtic one and I got one called Bubba, I love it. works good and just as cute next folks will styling yeti spoons, forks. plates. yeti yeti yeti yeti.
i noticed there is a tiny hole n the lid (nor the drinking hole). Mine is above the YETI name on the lid...i think the fake ones have the hole at the bottom of the lid
Do they have the same barcode?
Nice Catch! I forgot to mention that. The FETI has no barcode!
Have you or anyone else determined if all the cheap powder coated yeti are knock offs? I'm assuming they're fake. They have serial numbers imprinted on the bottom. Didn't think Yeti produced colored cups..
I heard that my local seller is selling Fake cups. My Yeti cup has a clear lid, it has the same exact little brochure as the fake one but it is a rough cardboard texture. And the yeti on the side and bottom line up. I don't have the label that goes around it when I first buy it as its been over a week. Is it a fake or real?
P.S. They sell them for the price of real cups so if it is fake I will be very upset and so would a lot of other people.
Real.
ManCraftingTM Thank you!
Once yeti make products in USA then I'll buy the USA made one.
For now both are china made.
What good is it to buy American, when everything here is made by affirmative action Mexicans?
if someone copied it and made it in the USA, it would definitely be better (and probably less expensive).
Many times the Chinese manufacturer will have a quantity deal with a company to manufacture a product such as Yeti. It's quite possible that contract has run it's course and that Chinese company is selling the product. Yeti probably has QC standards, and the Chinese company will cut some corners to get the parts cheaper, or not polish the product to the original standards. So, it might not really be a counterfeit so to speak. I bet they both work the same though
Of course, the kicker will be when people test the two and find that - as in most "Yeti vs." vids, the cheap imitation only performs about 7% worse than the Yeti. :)
How much serial numbers should the real one have
Great question. I’m not sure.
I just want to know if it works any less.
Both cups made in China, with same materials. Why would anyone pay over $30 for the same cup?
I hate my yeti. I bought it on their website and it really wasn't worth the money. The Walmart brand works better imo.
But does it work? is it insulated? fill both with ice, then water, do a timed melt test. Inquiring minds want to know
Ask and you shall receive. ruclips.net/video/YNKwTg_2TbM/видео.html
And here’s the first test. ruclips.net/video/83MqrYM81eQ/видео.html
How's the ICE challenge comparison?
ruclips.net/video/83MqrYM81eQ/видео.html
does it work as good?
I would say the folks buying a Yeti are the ones getting ripped off, all the way around, coolers included. Ozark Trail (Wally World) actually beats Yeti in ice holding challenges. RTIC makes a bigger cooler for 1/2 the price of the Yeti as well.
does the fake one work the same? or have different melting points for the lid? like the one shown in whats inside channel, they had a knock off which had the cap melted
I'm not sure if the lid to melt at different temperatures in the oven. I'm not sure that that's a useful piece of information in the decision-making process for whether or not to buy the original or a fake one. But I'd be happy to do the test for you.
omg, yes please, cause you know, if it melts at diff temp, maybe when people drink hot water, they are drinking some plastic?
Good point. I'll give it a go.
Can you do the ice test on both cups
Here you go.
ruclips.net/video/YNKwTg_2TbM/видео.html
I just bought a yeti rambler 10 oz from gander mountain and it real. I love it!! It keeps my coffee very hot and my Jack on the rocks very cold.
YETI won't be in business long. When you have RTIC and Walmart selling the same thing for $10 bucks.
I had done work for YETI in gold plating several of them for their sales of the year banquet, 2 years in a row.
I've been to their headquarters in Austin and you wouldn't believe the chaos. On numerous occasions, in dealing
with Jon Sabatian or Kathy Johnson, trying to get a message to them on either their voice mail or cell, was nearly an
impossible task. Always full and never returned calls. It doesn't surprise me, that they dropped the ball on counterfeiting of the name itself and the design of the Ramblers and Colsters. It's too bad. Had it been my company, I'd have watched it like a hawk and made sure my US patents were in check.
Good info. I linked and subscribed. Couple suggestions. Get full banner and hide the plywood, well the flake board. Your building your brand just like YETI is so be the more professional looking one with a proper backdrop. Other than that sweet video. I was resurching YETI cups had your video came up. now I know what to look fore if FETI! Just friendly suggestion from a fellow RUclipsr
Thanks. Good advice. Appreciate the feedback. Working on both things. I've been trying to pull the camera in closer on more recent videos. Also, my plan is to prime and paint the wall and replace the banner with a stenciled logo. Like everything, it takes time. Time that I seem to be very short on lately. But, your comment has me making this a priority. Thanks.
+ManCraftingTM sweet! I look forward to it. The content is great. thanks for sharing...... You made me double check my YETI cup...the tables line up ;) it's a real one!
you should have compared the two in holding ice or hot drink?
+J Fike yes. I have a part 2
The irony of this is, i bought a fake yeti knowing it was fake from "Wish". The one he claims to be Real in this video has the exact same properties as mine does. I paid 30$ for 2 of them and one was painted teal. I have no complaints yet. Something to look at when you get yours. Like the one on the left in this video if you remove that outside ring look on the inside mine says the warranty is good for "5 yeats" instead of years, and it had the same exact label as the one he claims is real in here.
For a fraction of the price, the only thing that matters is performance. How does it hold up compared to the real one?
The same.
+ManCraftingTM I only care about performance. I bought a ozark trail for $9 at Walmart cuz I heard yeti was going to sue oz, I might have to buy another one just because it amazes me so far
+Madison Sinclair they perform well. I have several.
Does it still keep your drinks cold.
No difference in the performance that I could tell. If there is, it's not 75% different.
So I always find it amazing that 242,000 ppl watched this video, but only 972 could work up the energy to hit “like”. I mean, it takes time to make these videos, if you don’t like it move on, but just be a decent human being,
Definitely not my most popular video even though it is in the top 5 of views. It’s also not my typical video. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I really do appreciate it.
I recently saw a comparison of a number of different tumblers, which included both real and a fake Yetis. Interestingly the fake Yeti did a better job at keeping ice compared to the real Yeti.
What I would care about most is the performance. YETI has been shown to not out perform any of the cheaper brands that make these similar products and cost as much as a quarter of the YETI. I own YETI, RTIC, Ozark and all perform identically. If the knockoff performs as well as the original then you made out by buying one. YETI has become the international symbol of 'I paid too much for a name'. I tend to think these are all made in the same factory anyway.
makes me think if i can be made and sold for a profit at 15 bucks. i feel like im getting majorly ripped off by paying 40 for a identical piece so the sticker and label are a little different its trash anyway
Two different markets. One was going through a Specialty Market distribution system on a relatively small scale the other made the product into a commodity. I'd bet that Walmart actually makes as much if not more on each cup sale. I was making a product recently for $15. China is now selling them direct to the consumer for $1 plus $1 shipping. I pay almost $7 for the components. Not to mention my equipment and time. It's not as clear cut as it seems. I'd have to lose $6 on every sale to "Not be ripping people off."
They are both real, but one is not approved by YETI because it is not sold by them.
I would have liked to hear that the product was inferior, not just the different label or misaligned fonts on a cup. Does the fake keep your drink cold as long as a yeti, could you have maybe done a trial test to put icy drinks in both and see if the Yeti is superior? What about dropping the fake and seeing if it dents? or if the lid leaks, or if the fake can handle being in a dishwasher like the real Yeti.
I purchased some light bulbs from amazon that were using the name of a company that makes their bulbs here in the U.S. When I called the company to mention a few minor flaws in their product they informed me that they do NOT sell their light bulbs on amazon, that they were Chinese copies using his name (lawsuits pending). I contacted Amazon and had to ask the Post Office to refuse the delivery. Amazon gave me a refund but never stopped selling the fake light bulbs. Amazon knew the bulbs were counterfeits but sold them anyway. So---buyer beware!
+george george FYI Amazon is a seller, but there are also Amazon Sellers that are using Amazon for their store front and are not really Amazon. Most are good companies, some are in business to sell counterfeit products. They are like whack a mole. One gets shut down the next one pops up.
If I was the owner of Yeti I would file a lawsuit against people making fake Yeti beverage containers
Here is one case.

I understand your point. It’s the principle behind it. The product that was ripped off. Stress that on your review! Reviewing how the labels and manuals are different is pointless. Point out the actual product itself how it can be spotted as a knock off.
Thank you. As always I'm a sucker. Lesson learned. I got my fakes on wish.
actually if you buy the expensive one than that makes you a sucker

What would be really cool is to see a ice test between these two. Does the rip off hold ice for the same amount of hours?
I want to know if the fake Yeti keeps the cold, cold, and the hot hot?
David Guptill Jr LOL. Yeah that's I think part three.
good.. I'll be watching!
Molded stainess steel in a vacuum. Both work exactly the same. Yeti is ripping people off.
donnsald trump I would say they are premium priced, but ripping off? Jeans sell from $10 to $200 a pair. Some people buy for reasons other than price, and money isn't a scarce resource. I almost never bought one because I couldn't justify the cost. I never felt like they were "ripping me off."
Ozarka brand form walmart is just as good for less that 10 bucks, put ice cold water in both and leave them out for two hours and check the temp, yeti might be a a degree or 2 cooler, but you couldn't tell if you drank it, I live in Austin and yeti is everywhere, and so are no name brands that do demonstrations compared against yeti, The academy on of 183 did one last year,
Yep. Did that video months ago.
so we should stick with Ozark trail? No one is going to counterfeit walmart. lol. I use two Ozark trail 33oz tumblers daily. one at work. one at home. NEVER! run out of ice.
+GARY HILL true. Not even the Chinese will work for the wages Walmart Employees are paid.
what do we learn from the lesson just go to Walmart and get you a $10 one lmfao
Bought a replica, and bought an original, and they both work the same, they are the same thing...
Thanks for FINALLLLLY saying which one is fake at 4:28 into the video
Does yeti make colored tumblers? There is a local vendor selling them but they are multiple colors and camouflage She insists they are authentic but is selling them at a flea market!
Kelly Mc they do not currently sell any custom colors.
+Kelly Mc Yeti just published the 4 colors they are now doing. They are duracoat and not powder. They are all earth tones.
Thanks! I was out at a vendor event and four people were set up selling yeti tumblers. I'm guessing they were fakes all neons and camouflaged. Just from personal experience they do not sell to vendors like that.
thanks for the video. Dont worry about the hate. Idk why poor people complain about a product they want but cant afford. Might as well not even think about getting the best if your cheap
Does fake one hold up just as good?
It seems to.
