Somehow BJP led government hasn't done anything on black money as they also have corruption. Demonization was a failure and useless exercise. Just the bankers and common people were harassed.

So, moral of the story is that yes, there is tax evasion but people don't evade as much tax as you think. Rather, through intelligent tax planning, they try to avoid taxes they don't have to pay. We have well known tax saving tools like HUFs for instance. Avoiding tax is legal. Evading is not legal. You should make all legal disclosures necessary. Let's be clear that anyone (especially Indians) who is in the position to save tax, will choose to save tax.
I mean a person who is earning 1 CR per Annum has to pay 30 lakhs in taxes! I mean wtf? Why should we pay 30 lakhs? That’s a lot of amount just for taxes!

@@akshaypendyala Acc to ur anology , 30% tax on 1 CR per annum, whereas in some EU countries like Finland, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands etc... the tax is almost 45- 50 % meaning on a salary of 100,000 euros , you would end up paying 45,000 to 50,000 euros in tax !!
@@tejasgiridhar not sure if you are joking, but look at the quality of life in European countries and here in India, compare healthcare, education, infrastructure and I can keep on going. The reason why I am angry because, govt. taxes the heck out of hard working people but does nothing in return for them. Next time whenever you do analogies, look at the context and factors as well. That should help broaden your perspective.

I believe, most of the black money is in the real estate and unorganized sectors. Technically black money is untaxed income, and most of it is generated by politicians, government officers(Probably 50 to 60%), but the other by common people who don't pay the proper amount of income tax. In India, only employees pay income tax properly.

One correction: Govt is asking IT to conduct raid not only on opposition but on anyone who criticizes Govt's action. "Dainik Jagaran" newspaper : for criticizing govt action & reporting covid deaths, Sonu Sood: For standing with Arvind Kejriwal etc. Also, The action like Demonetization was utter failure in curving black money.

Ban Indian rupee in physical form. Only e rupi and UPI transactions should be allowed. Every rupee should have a digital trace. Make it impossible to do anything without leaving a trace.

Modi actually never said that he will deposit 15 lakhs. He said that there is so much black money in overseas accounts that he can credit 15 lakh in every citizen's account if all that money is recovered.

I don't know if this is relevant. But I wanna see bisbo covering on drug in Manipur. Opium here is cultivated in mass and cultivators even seemed to challenge the government. Few years back I could see blue mountains. But now I see patches in hills alloted for opium cultivation
