I am new to R/C Aircraft, still "flying" my simulator and when I am brave my FMS Cessna. But I come here all the time to watch you guys and that keeps me motivated when I am gluing another wing back together. Keep up the good work!
As usual, fantastic flying and camera work. Watching the plane, I was taken back to the 1960's, and the Vietnam war. You 2 guys make it look so easy; keep up the good work!!!
Iam inlove all over again. Such a beautiful and scale plane. I really dont know what to say except I love it... Oh yeah...Great flying Pilot Ryan and excelent camera work Captain Mike. You guys are just great. I really enjoy comming here and watching your videos. Keep up the good work and big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
That looks great! We are having some wind issues out this way too. If the air had been calm lately, there would be more P.15 and F-105 videos up! Soon I hope....
Glad to hear the model encourages an active rudder - a good habit that a lot of pilots in general would benefit from improving on ;-) Even fighters that in terms of scale ought to fly primarily bank+yank (high g turns typically), one should still always manage attitude by rudder.
If it had slats and just a tiny bit of black smoke…you’d swear it was real!! Continuing/repeating that rudder play in sim, will save your ass on a bad/rushed/emergency final.
Love it! This one looked like it actually flew smoother with ordnance attached, but that may just be my screen playing tricks on me. Any word on the possibility of the F-4E nose cone?
Great airplane and great flight.Well done guys!!! I really love the F-4 and all of the Freewing edfs, for the price hard to beat!!Now we have to figure a way to get one of these babies to Robert and Blaz so they can put their spin on it,OH YEAH!!!Thanks for posting these fine videos.Cheers from Wichita,Ks.
You mentioned there was a difference between the fit of the old Admirals and new Admirals, what were the changes to the battery dimensions and any other improvements that were made?
I work at Kosmosdale cement and I believe I'm right across the river from you guys? I see tons of nice planes often flying over there. Am I correct? Are you guys on hwy 111?
Im still buying this plane but I just wish they coulda done rear gear doors. Woulda put it closer to the level of my eflite f16 80mm of the same price. that being said, NO CHEATER VENTS is so cool! Real amazing model here, cant wait to get mine in a few months
"Hard" is relative. This EDF Jet will not float like the Vampire will so she will need more throttle-controlled descents when landing. But it is a great flyer when set-up correctly.
Nice video. You're a great pilot but I think your philosophe with regard to getting air flow thru both intakes is backwards. When you make a flat turn you are skidding and the inner intake is probably not getting much flow. In a coordinated both intakes should work better. You are also more prone to a snap. don't hate me. I really like your company and I like the Free Wing P.15 I bought from you. Hope to buy a lot more, MiG -21 top of my list but I surely like the venom too.
Seriously guys... your intro jingle... sounds like it was recorded underwater. Now I know this is due to over-compression at some stage, but surely you could get hold of an uncompressed copy to use in your videos? It's truly awful, and an insult to the nice HD video ;)
WHY OH WHY is it, that in every single such video I see, NO handler ever has "convenient" items with him e.g. model cradle, stool, toolbox. I mean look here: Ryan is on his knees, holding/handling the model & ordinances with one hand, placing parts on ground, shoving parts into pants pockets. Irritating to watch. SMFH

Did you get her up? I started a few weeks ago :D no crash until now but just a question of time XD

That is the best landing gear setup I have seen on an outta the box bird. And that intro..

Thanks so much Robert!
Always a pleasure. Oh yeah... Cheers my friend, Robert
Sweet video all we need now is the scale smokey eshaust !
Great review as always, the F-4D is stunning, always been a favourite mine

Spring is taking the year off I think
Great job as always boys. Can't wait to get my hands on one! Can't. Wait.
Absolutely stunning model, fms has raised the bar .
This is Freewing
nice work fellas. beautiful plane

No. Just…no.
If it had slats and just a tiny bit of black smoke…you’d swear it was real!! Continuing/repeating that rudder play in sim, will save your ass on a bad/rushed/emergency final.
Ohhh that plane looks very very nice!!!!! Nice flight my friends!!!
Love the camera work. Great looking plane.

What size battery were you using. You called it “big heavy” but not the actual size.
6S 5000mAh

Is it possible that in the future a 60mm version of this will come out? Anyway, amazing flying and beautiful plane!
Joshua McLain e do has one rc castle but eps foam
Any idea when the second group will arrive?
You mentioned there was a difference between the fit of the old Admirals and new Admirals, what were the changes to the battery dimensions and any other improvements that were made?
How to set the elevator for extended landing gear and full flaps in this RC aircraft?
In real situation, would the tail wings be burned by the hot jetted air ?
I work at Kosmosdale cement and I believe I'm right across the river from you guys? I see tons of nice planes often flying over there. Am I correct? Are you guys on hwy 111?
WOW !!!!!!!! You two need to stop being so happy ......
Full flaps on first landing.. Nice landing old'man!!!!
GREAT Looking Freewing F-4D Phantom II in Steve Ritchie's MIG Killer With Six Kills !!!
Again! Nice flying!
Thid needs to be released in a RAF or RN colour scheme! I hope I get good enough for one of these some day
Why do they come out with the size and scheme you want after you already get the ancient one?
What do board video camera are you using?
We velcro the Runcam 2 to the aircraft
What a great jet. I gotta get me one of them.

omg !!! that plane looks awesome
Not bad. Still a bit small. Wish they would release a Skymaster size.
Let Blaz fly !!! that looks super nice !!! to bad it's kinda pricey !!!
Whitch is the maximum speed?
his this hard to fly,the biggist EDF i have flown is the durafly vampire.thx mark from the uk.
"Hard" is relative. This EDF Jet will not float like the Vampire will so she will need more throttle-controlled descents when landing. But it is a great flyer when set-up correctly.
I just wish they would put a plastic edge around the battery compartment. I would pay extra money to see that.
What's easier to fly...this or the T-45 ?
T-45 is about the perfect 90mm trainer jet. F-4 is a nice flyer no doubt, but T-45 is probably the safer choice
Nice video. You're a great pilot but I think your philosophe with regard to getting air flow thru both intakes is backwards. Amazing love it cant wait for a mig29 or saab gripen if can freewing haha
3 minutes for a 8s 5000mah battery?
Do an overhead to a break for landing.
Excellent
Nice flyer but the flight characteristics need to be bumped up to be scale. Long roll before rotation the shoot for the moon.
Oh boy.
Three minutes? Wow.
the e flight on is waaaaay bettter
To each their own, but this one is a gorgeous scale beauty available in 2 different liveries and 2 different power options.
The greatest F-4 Phantom II pilot is only a Triple Ace..

quadcopter
Looked a little nose heavy. 7/10 fly nose heavy.
