Need more Canadians on tour! Great job Grant, hoping you rejoin Good Good and settle all our broken hearts. We should all sign a petition, Grant gets more equity in Good Good.
It struck me in this video how humble Grant is... He's always pumping up the people he plays against and never has his chest out. Congrats on that, Grant.
Yes, also he is more grown than GoodGood dudes (they started to act like children, clowns after Grant left, probably in trying to keep fans but its more tragedy than comedy. But Grant and Garret were great in making their own content together, its shame just because of they were reall ham and egg together..
I did notice but I have to correct something you said. He is Canadian and I can guarantee that is his hockey grip. Lol! But yes I’m amazed how good he is with that grip as well. But he is able to control the club face obviously so good on him.
I love love love what you do with your content to highlight the juniors. It's unique to youtube and honestly is typically my favorite stuff to watch. Hoping my daughter can do a video with you in the future. She's 2 weeks old but i'm telling you her grip is solid! :)
I had the chance, a few years back, to be matched with Emil and his father at my local golf course in Quebec. He was so young but so serious and into his game, it was a incredible moment to have the chance to play with this little boy. He wasnt even 5 feet tall but had so much power, so much talent. He even did two birdies in a row on a par 4 and par 5 and he shooked it off like it was nothing 🤣 And the look on his father's face was priceless. Bravo Emil, j'ai hâte de suivre ta carrière! Tu es un incroyable golfeur et un fier représentant du Québec! :)
I love the fact that Emil is totally self taught and has never had a lesson. Consequently, he has total ownership over his swing and doesn’t have to run to a swing instructor every 5 minutes. Great match! Love that Grant is showcasing junior golfers, the next generation who will carry the game forward. Keep up the great work, Grant. 👊👊
Emil should be a case study on how cookie cutter swings are not all that. The baseball grip. The lead arm rolling in, and the brutal hip turn. It all works. It just all works.
I think its great that you are taking your time to have these matchs with these younger players. For one, it brings some attention to their game and I believe its going to help them be comfortable in front of the camera. These junior golfers are amazing, and its guys like you Grant that will help them pave their way into the future. You're a great guy and this is just another example of that. And a huge shout out to Emile and hopefully we will see him in the collegiate ranks soon and then on tour. Great video and content, many blessings moving forward Grant.
It was good content but he left for a reason and hasn't been able to say everything. Something big happened we will know one day truth always comes out
Love to see these great junior golfers! Seeing the talent level of these guys is fantastic! It’s also great for someone with the platform to highlight guys on their way up. I know they appreciate the added exposure and enjoy getting to be on a widely viewed channel with a really good guy! Keep it up Grant!
Love watching what the younger people are doing. Emil swing is very different with his right hand griped like a baseball bat and yet he gets thru the ball with all kinds of speed and accuracy. Great match. Awesome job by Sadee.
Why anyone would question you on playing with junior players is beyond me. I think it's amazing that you give your time and expertise in mentoring them. Keep up the great work Grant
Wow! What a match! It’s great that you highlight these young aspiring golfers. Emil seems so humble and he is so good at golf! The bunker shots for both of you on the 9th hole was so ridiculously good. Hats off to Sade the steady handed videographer! Just a request if you start up some training videos again, can you demo how to set up and hit a draw and a fade? Overall another great video!!
Grant I gotta tell you, when I picture in my mind the perfect swing that I want mine to look like, its your swing. So perfect. Love the videos. Happy New Year!!!
Great video here Grant and love seeing how passionate you are with highlighting the next crop of talented golfers. You’re a great asset to the game, keep it up
I have a feeling that Grant will be a legend in the sport. All the young, future pro golfers will remember and talk about golfing a round with Grant Horvat and it will be a thing, a right of passage, for pro golfers to play a round of golf with Grant Horvat. A piece of history right here
Fellow Canadian representttt - Awesome match gents; keep up the fantastic content Grant, you're one of the most talented youtubers/golfers/instructors out there
This is a really good video Grant. Your channel is improving at each new video. Like you said : this is quality golf right there ! I really like the way you interact with the guests on your channel. Everything sounds so humble and honnest. Really like the vibe here ! Continue the goodd work !
Grant: "I haven't played much golf recently. I've taken 4 days off." Me: "My course closed October 31 and doesn't open until April 1, and we got 36 inches of snow last week."
What a talent that young Canadian is :) Reminds me of Viktor Hovlands "hockey" grip/swing, keep doing this stuff, just love the content and all the collabs you are working on Grant!
Why are you always playing with junior golfers?- because this type of content has never been done on the regular and how awesome would it have been to have old videos of tiger, rory, JT, rahm when they were juniors talking about their dreams of golf with a beloved youtube golf creator. I, for one, enjoy the junior golf series and think these videos will age very very well. Keep it up!
Oh my gosh, the young lady behind the camera makes me laugh. She really gets the game and what it takes to make the shots. Her comments are right on the money. I also have to say that her camera work is stellar, steady and the framing of all the video is really great. Thank you young lady, and thank you Grant for showcasing this young Canadian talent. Emil... good job, a treat to watch your game play, looking forward to seeing you in the PGA.
Grant - great to see the focus on young talent. It shows your values in promoting early career players and making it more relatable to others starting in the game. Sure, snagging time with some of the top names would boost ratings but investing time with future talent will be a legacy you can be proud of...you could even do a video or two on helping beginners by giving them swing tips. You are a natural coach/mentor - perhaps because of your Dad's talent and guidance... your brand to me is one of empathy and investment in others to help them be successful in the game.
I like how you you dont let shots get to you, you put it behind you and focus on the next shot. So many of us today would play better golf if we could just focuse on the shot at hand. That was fun to watch. When that kids body catches up to his swing look out pga!
GH golf channel will be 1m plus. I linked into GoodGood for this guy. He has the knowledge but nails it in front of the camera, zero arrogance. Go get it GH
Grant, first off, I want to congratulate you for making the best decision for yourself and Sadee! I also noticed in this video you may have been using different irons versus Mizuno? Are you still with Mizuno? Again, congrats with everything you're doing and best of luck to you in your future endeavors!
He's the rarest young player that uses a baseball grip. Watch him grip the club. Interesting no one coached him out of it, mainly cuz he has no coach! Dude gonna grow up with sick hands playing with that grip. Very cool and old school. Look forward to seeing his game unfold
Classy stuff from Horvat highlighting the insane junior talent. Love this guys action, uses the ground so well to rotate like hell, through impact. It’s like Mito Pereira, Joachim Niemann and Ben Hogan mashed up together. Unbelievable speed for someone so young.
Love watching the elite juniors. Emil has serious game, it's great he's found his own way to hit the ball... Too many coaches try to fit people into a mold.
Grant, you’re an awesome guy. Also so cool to see how much your fiancé supports you. Make sure you take care of yourself. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
I think an awesome video of you testing out Armlock vs Traditional grip vs Claw… maybe even different putters.. show your process of choosing a putting and grip
6:37 you can see the difference between the two swings. Grants is nice and smooth and more connected to his lower body. The 15 year old gets MASSIVE torque between his lower and upper body. That’s insane that he can hit so consistently like that
I’d like to see him hit a draw. I haven’t finished the video yet, but based on what I’m seeing, he won’t. He’s young. I started out with a baseball grip, but made myself change because I knew it wouldn’t work long term.
I hope the regrip doesn't hurt Emil. He's so talented. I used to regrip the club, and when I finally stopped doing that I played some decent golf for me. If he's #2 in Canada, I don't think he has anything to worry about.
Just realized I never subscribed and always have to search for your videos. Love it your labs videos helped me so much to get more comfortable under pressure and going under par. God bless you brother and congrats on the new blessing if you are having a kid soon. Idk if that’s real or not but heard it on a update of golf news. It’s crazy that overnight you go from not being able to imagine life with kids to not remembering what life was like before children. Hope your having a good week man let me know if you want to go to some private golf courses in AZ or gold canyon. Sure you are blessed to be able to golf almost anywhere you would like to but I have some often overlooked courses I can get on outside of all the Scottsdale courses ❤️✝️
15 years old, never had a coach, using a baseball grip, handling pressure like this. He is unreal...Cmon Grant, bring him back from time to time. I would like to watch him grow as a golfer
Being Canadian I can tell he’s a French Canadian and those guys can play some good hockey, but also great golfers! He’s young but he’s mature and I can’t wait to see where he ends up after a proper grant horvat lesson 😉😂
I had to chuckle when he said "When I was young I used to copy Jordan." Like being 15 is ancient. I can remember being 15 but it was 52 years ago. Best wishes for the young one.
This match was wild! Watch out for Emil, he’s gonna be going places.
Channel blowin' up, love the maturity and content. Great decision
The content is great and so is the editing. One minor nit: your editor needs a new monitor. The color grading is wayyy off.
Need more Canadians on tour! Great job Grant, hoping you rejoin Good Good and settle all our broken hearts. We should all sign a petition, Grant gets more equity in Good Good.
How did Sweeney play? He’s a solid player
Get him to play that other kid who wins everything... PGA bound for sure but that swing will create back issues
It struck me in this video how humble Grant is... He's always pumping up the people he plays against and never has his chest out. Congrats on that, Grant.
Grant is just a class act.... My favourite golf channel on RUclips these days.
A truly valuable skill 👏
Yes, also he is more grown than GoodGood dudes (they started to act like children, clowns after Grant left, probably in trying to keep fans but its more tragedy than comedy.
But Grant and Garret were great in making their own content together, its shame just because of they were reall ham and egg together..
Yea he really does seem to bring out the best golf in the people he’s playing against. He keeps them calm and is always so positive!
Did anyone notice Emil's grip, where he places his thumbs and how he's able to hit that well is beyond me. Pure talent. He uses the baseball grip
He's the guy my brother thinks he is as a golfer. Both use the baseball grip, but one of them is good.
I did notice but I have to correct something you said. He is Canadian and I can guarantee that is his hockey grip. Lol! But yes I’m amazed how good he is with that grip as well. But he is able to control the club face obviously so good on him.
I just saw this too, such a strong right hand grip, wow!
@@Golf_Hack lol I stand corrected good catch
@Grant Horvat Golf how do you rate his grip? I need an explanation please lol
I love love love what you do with your content to highlight the juniors. It's unique to youtube and honestly is typically my favorite stuff to watch. Hoping my daughter can do a video with you in the future. She's 2 weeks old but i'm telling you her grip is solid! :)

Yes absolument !

Emil should be a case study on how cookie cutter swings are not all that. The baseball grip. The lead arm rolling in, and the brutal hip turn. It all works. It just all works.
The hip turn is not brutal lol
The golf world has changed. 15yo hitting 350 drives now 😅
Emil's skill is incredible. Such a unique and fun swing to watch. Great content Grant!
I think its great that you are taking your time to have these matchs with these younger players. Good on ya Grant for showcasing all of these young talented players. I love the chill vibe, no arrogance or ignorance.
Honestly
Grant, you are a class act with a classy channel! I do miss the special chemistry that you and Garrett produced!
It was good content but he left for a reason and hasn't been able to say everything. Something big happened we will know one day truth always comes out
Hey Grant, love what you doing for youth golf! Keep it up :)
Love to see these great junior golfers! Seeing the talent level of these guys is fantastic! It’s also great for someone with the platform to highlight guys on their way up. Love watching what the younger people are doing. Emil swing is very different with his right hand griped like a baseball bat and yet he gets thru the ball with all kinds of speed and accuracy. Great match. Awesome job by Sadee.
I could watch you and Emil play for hours. Nice watching a fellow Canadian killing it out there!
Why anyone would question you on playing with junior players is beyond me. I think it's amazing that you give your time and expertise in mentoring them. Keep up the great work Grant

Love to hear it
love these vids showcasing the upcoming talent. crazy how good these young kids are these days.
Great video here Grant and love seeing how passionate you are with highlighting the next crop of talented golfers. You’re a great asset to the game, keep it up

Another great video Grant.... Loving your channel and it's awesome to see you showcasing the younger guys out there coming through the ranks.
Fellow Canadian representttt - Awesome match gents; keep up the fantastic content Grant, you're one of the most talented youtubers/golfers/instructors out there
Emil goes to show not all skills have to be taught. Love the Quebec representation!
This is a really good video Grant. Your channel is improving at each new video. Like you said : this is quality golf right there ! I really like the way you interact with the guests on your channel. Everything sounds so humble and honnest. Really like the vibe here ! Continue the goodd work !
Never seen a swing like that before, it was like watching an old wooden catapult fire. The kid is crazy fun to watch.
Grant: "I haven't played much golf recently. I've taken 4 days off."
Me: "My course closed October 31 and doesn't open until April 1, and we got 36 inches of snow last week."

I played this kid when I was 10 in the Quebec juniors I’m so proud
One of the beautiful things about RUclips is the opportunity it affords to see overlooked groups. Keep highlighting the junior players.
The filming & editing of this video is another step up from previous. Keep it up Grant and team!
I love that Grant is showcasing kids in golf. So pure. And this young man is from my homeland, Canada. Great match.
I really enjoyed the mini major you did with those junior golfers. I hope you do another soon!
Grant has the personality and talent to have a successful channel on his own. Such a nice guy.
Grant you a real OG! Awesome match & play guys!!

I’m a PGA Teaching Professional, and playing withJr. Golfers is how you grow the game . Keep it up Grant
Grant highlighting these jr golfers is such amazing long term vision
He's the rarest young player that uses a baseball grip. Watch him grip the club. Interesting no one coached him out of it, mainly cuz he has no coach! Dude gonna grow up with sick hands playing with that grip. Very cool and old school. Look forward to seeing his game unfold

Some Canadian content good on you Grant for showcasing some Canadian talent
Grant, as a middle aged retired guy it is a treat to watch you and those on ur channel play. U have a smooth swing!
Anyone else see the in-sync hat adjustment at 1:48? 😂
Love watching the elite juniors. Emil has serious game, it's great he's found his own way to hit the ball... Too many coaches try to fit people into a mold.
Love Grants character. By far my favorite golf RUclips channel. Love his content.
That above the green view was fire
Good match, high quality golf and good putting (especially the old guy), but the kid is special.
Two good and humble golfers 🏌♂️
Canadian golfers ROCK.....and we only have 3 months to play a year!!!!! LOL!!
1:49 they’re so synchronized when they grip their hats it’s freaky
great f'n camera work Sadee!!!
Grant I love what you’re doing on your channel focusing, playing real golf with rising stars, not wacky games it’s great to watch! ❤
Thanks for sharing! Emil is a great player and seems like a great young man. Keep up the good work Grant!!
Love the quality golf content! Much better than the colab or group stuff
15 years old and yet no frying pans or tennis racquets in his bag.
Legit competition.
Emil knows he has power...and for such a young person he doesnt let the hype get to him. well done young man!
This kids swing is textbook. Joaquin Nieman Jr. If he’s never had a lesson before, that’s the best self-taught swing I’ve ever seen
Grant, you’re an awesome guy. Also so cool to see how much your fiancé supports you. Make sure you take care of yourself. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
I love that you’re playing with Junior golfers. It will be something to look back on if/when they hit the tour.
emil has ridiculous style... that cut out of the bunker of 9... and to go after it like that on 10... what a beast
Happy New Years guys and blessing to all who are watching and reading this.. be good to yourself. Stay blessed
nice to see someone using their platform to help give these young talents some awareness and credit!
Amazing what Emil can do with that baseball grip. For sure a home grown swing.
Great stuff Grant. Please dont ever edit out your camerapersons comments. "Holy crap" was pure gold
Keep up the good work, Emil! Represent!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I think an awesome video of you testing out Armlock vs Traditional grip vs Claw… maybe even different putters.. show your process of choosing a putting and grip
Enjoying the artistic choices here with the de-saturated color scheme.
6:37 you can see the difference between the two swings. Grants is nice and smooth and more connected to his lower body. The 15 year old gets MASSIVE torque between his lower and upper body. That’s insane that he can hit so consistently like that
Love the content! Keep showcasing the young golfers because it’s freaking impressive how good they are 🤙🏻
Honestly disgusting how he hits the ball. 15 yrs old and his recoil is monterous, these kids bucking the trend, love to see it
Sadie's "awe" on the 4th as Grant's 4i didn't make it. LOL
Love the content, GH. You're doing awesome things for the juniors you showcase. Keep it up.
Good to see Grant genuinely enjoying the match. Emil is a great player, but eventually he has to make some painful grip changes.
Why?
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Is it unconventional, maybe, but if it’s working for the kid then go with it until it starts hurting your game.
I’d like to see him hit a draw. I haven’t finished the video yet, but based on what I’m seeing, he won’t. He’s young. I started out with a baseball grip, but made myself change because I knew it wouldn’t work long term.
I switched from interlock to baseball grip and now can move ball left and right much easier. Also gained yards on drives.
He’s 15 and shoots 1 over. That’s pretty strong.
You are missed at GoodGood. Hope you do some collabs in 2023 with Garrett
the hat grab @ 1:48 is perfectly in sync
I hope the regrip doesn't hurt Emil. He's so talented. I used to regrip the club, and when I finally stopped doing that I played some decent golf for me. If he's #2 in Canada, I don't think he has anything to worry about.

Being a huge fan 9f yours AND a proud Canadian, I totally loved this video. Thanks for sharing 😊
15 years old, never had a coach, using a baseball grip, handling pressure like this. He is unreal...Cmon Grant, bring him back from time to time. I would like to watch him grow as a golfer
I love the niche you have developed for the channel. The link with junior golfers is awesome!
A golf coach would tear this kids game apart. Might be best to let him just see what he can do. Pure raw talent.
Great clip Grant. Love the camera commentary by Sadee too! Classic
Being Canadian I can tell he’s a French Canadian and those guys can play some good hockey, but also great golfers! He’s young but he’s mature and I can’t wait to see where he ends up after a proper grant horvat lesson 😉😂
I like that you are promoting junior golf. Very commendable. Well done.
Color grading was a little strong in this video imo
But great content Grant ❤
cool to see a young up and comer from Montreal Canada on you channel! Great match
The quality of the editing is maxed! Great video Grant!
Dudes crushing with a baseball grip! I used baseball for years.. maybe I should go back.. lol
Very humble Grant. Great content mate with no silly games just pure golf and 1v1s
Got rid of that good good putter and you’ve been on fire!!! Much love and congrats Grant!!!
Swing reminds me of Mito and Niemann!
The future of golf is in good hands with you both at the helm 🙏
I love that you play with these good juniors. Its pure content and really good golf❣️🙌🏼 Happy New Year GrAnt, from Sweden 🇸🇪❣️
Emil is flat out awesome.. thank you Grant for bringing us great content
I had to chuckle when he said "When I was young I used to copy Jordan." Like being 15 is ancient. I can remember being 15 but it was 52 years ago. Best wishes for the young one.
Kind of reminded me of the Georgia vs Ohio game! Both played well of to win! Yet there can only be one winner!
Grant!!! Great content my man, keep it up I love watching your videos.
