@@deandohertygreaser you don’t think I actually get my hands dirty do you??? :-) I live in America where we eagerly throw away tools and relish the consumption of new ones instead of repairing them. *I found a newish dewalt impact on the road near my house. In the case with charger, 2 batteries and numerous drillbits etc. Name on the case in white marker in proper contractor style. Called them. They told me to keep it as unless I was passing their place it wasn’t worth their time to come pick it up and they’d already replaced it.
Would this solve the clutch ratchet. I have an older 110v model and when you drill the clutch keeps coming on so it gets stuck and hammers but doesn't rotate
Great content - going to try this myself. Any ideas how to get the bit to be properly retained? One of ours the bit just wobbles too much to be useable, and the clutch mechanism seems to fail as soon as the bit bogs down a bit.

It’s a savage . Pretty heavy tho. I do everything with it including mixing small amounts of plaster and cement. Iv had mine 3 years and just needed a re grease now . I’m gona buy the bigger one next couple months
