To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
Nice impartial review. Maybe check out Bart at scarbir.com who has rated over 100 TWS earbuds and some more affordable sub $25 that are really top sounding nowadays and allow 2+ hours listening on a charge which is probably fine for many people..I've compared a few cheap but good sounding like the Haylou GT1 Plus on my blog gichow.com and be great to get your view on them and whether paying more really gets you any better sound quality (though it might get you other features like better battery life, ANC, microphone).

I agree with your review! I just got mine. The sound is awesome! Sound quality is amazing. Bass is awesome. Very clear overall sound. BUT yes the latency and it not being waterproof or sweatproof is such a shame. @@SeanTalksTech thanks for the instant reply! I was thinking of buying it tomorrow. However, based on the fact that the buds are not individually independent, I may choose something else. Do you have any recommendations?

Hey Abin, the JBL definitely wins on sound quality, but the galaxy buds have newer bluetooth 5.0 tech, sweatproof, so in that aspect, galaxy buds are better. But keep in mind that the sound signature of the galaxy buds are abit on the flat side and needs a bit of help from EQs.
Hey man. Thanks for watching. For me it stayed quite well. But because the size is a little big, smaller ears will have problems of it staying in the ear.
Hey there, thanks for the support! That's quite a tough choice. I want to go with the Galaxy buds because it comes with the latest BT, so watching videos and all will be more enjoyable. But the Galaxy buds' sound signature is abit on the flatter side, not to my liking. The JBL, wins hands down on sound quality, but other specs kinda take a hit because of that. So if u prefer sound quality, go with the JBL, if you want that samsung ecosystem and a slightly better spec earbuds, go with the Galaxy buds 2018 :D Hope that helps

how much is the latency? might buy one
@@Snakyy1 the latency is definitely noticeable. Especially in videos, youtube & netflix, you'll see the video lacks behind the sound quite a bit.
I bought the jbl tune 125tws for rm99 on 11.11 from jbl shopee. It's basically the upgraded version of this, it has type c port and bluetooth 5.0
When you take them out of the case, does it automatically pair?
Yup
Yup it automatically pairs. 😁
Just ordered some👍🏼
Nice! Thanks for tuning in! 😄
Got these on prime day for $30 . I think they’re awesome for the price
Yea for music, these are fantastic 😄🔥
Thanks 4 the review, just bought mine 😉
Cheers bro! 😄
That’s brand I really love to use it
They really do make some good products 😄
Thanks for the review. I got all I needed in understanding and.......... I've bought one I'm impressed.
Thank you for dropping a comment! Truly appreciate it!
a bit late, but enjoyed this review
Thanks for supporting the channel! 😄
Thanks for the review! Helps me alot to think twice 😁
Thank u for the support!
@@SeanTalksTech I ended up buying this! Hopefully I will not regret 😁
Hope you do enjoy them once they arrive!😄
Thanks for making the review of them, I have to buy them.
Glad you've enjoyed the video! Hope you love your earbuds when you get them :D
Love your unboxing
Thank you my friend!
Do you recommend this over the Galaxy buds?
Hey Abin, the JBL definitely wins on sound quality, but the galaxy buds have newer bluetooth 5.0 tech, sweatproof, so in that aspect, galaxy buds are better. But keep in mind that the sound signature of the galaxy buds are abit on the flat side and needs a bit of help from EQs.
@@SeanTalksTech Thanks. I personally like the form factor of the Galaxy buds
@@yabinthomas7605 same here 😄 i like it when they sit snugly in the ears rather than stick out.
I honestly want to buy this.
Please keep up the good work! I watched this video before, and I'm watching it again this time around 💕
Thanks a lot Kyle, between this and the liberty 2 pro. I'll suggest that you wait for that to reach the Philippines. 😁
How do you open the charger thing I have been trying for ages
Hey Jobe, ooh the flap? U need to use a little fingernail to dig it out. Try the other side if one doesn't open. It's quite tight in there.
Thanks for this review I was on the fence but I just bought it
Thank you for supporting the channel. Glad I could help.
Got these today, watched you’re review first. It helped a lot thanks! Just a question do they fall out when you go for physical activities
Hey man. Thanks for watching. For me it stayed quite well. But because the size is a little big, smaller ears will have problems of it staying in the ear.
Sean Talks Tech thanks!
Your video is very good. The review very detail. Can i ask which one you prefer, Galaxy Buds or JBL Tune 120? Thankyou
So if u prefer sound quality, go with the JBL, if you want that samsung ecosystem and a slightly better spec earbuds, go with the Galaxy buds 2018 :D
Hope that helps
I have them, great bass and okay sound quality
There is some static sound and lag when using it on older devices. Besides that its a decent buy.
If you love listening to music with bass it's a good choice.
Hey Sulaimaan! Thanks for the comment. I agree 100% with your perspective :D
Thanks for the nice layout and how you took your time with your videos.
Can i use one at a time? Like keep in my left ear and keep my right ear open?
Hey SRM13, thanks for the question. i tried pairing both to my phone, but somehow it doesn't connect :(
The design of it mainly is for stereo use. What i normally do if i want to use single side on the bed, i will remove the right side and leave it on the table then only use the left, so it's still connected.
But for your scenario, it won't work in mono mode.
You can use one at a time but it has to be the right one.
Got mine! I'm loving it!! Worth buying
Guys I have a question, which one should I buy? Those ones or Galaxy buds+? My friend is saying that those are more worthy but a lot of reviewers and people in general that would prefer the buds+, what do you think?
The JBL is great if u solely use it for music. The buds + Is OK but from my quick test, I think it could use more bass compared to the JBL. Maybe check out the Soundpeats Truengine 3SE. Those are pretty awesome.
@@SeanTalksTech thank you for the response ❤️🔥
Thanks good informative video. Now I know how to use them.
Thanks Eve for the support. Appreciate it.
Watching this with my JBL 2 GO speaker ✌️
Awesome! Thanks 😊.
Amazing review👍 you got my sub
Thank you my friend! 😄
Hmmm I'm definitely interested I love me some great headphones I may have to give them a try
Hey JS, you definitely should give them a try. They definitely sound great!
