Shotgun accuracy is bugged. As long as a single pellet from a blast hits it does not count as a miss. So you can whiff blasts all day and still get 80% or more.
Just means you take that into account when assessing shotgun accuracy, I think that's still a reasonable way for the accuracy counter to work. A good thing to do when figuring out how good someone's shotgun game is, is to check their damage compared to their accuracy.

Clout Zer0 holy fucking shit. From that thread I found out that mouse 1 to fire (or ctrl) and mouse 2 to forward was the default key binding in quake. I've never knew why I used it, I always assumed I somehow bound it that way the first time, but it was the default all along. Thanks for that, man.
