@@grajesh83 can't say about the Trex 2 since I only daily drive GTR4. Quite good I must say. But the crown is so afterthought design. Say if we use gloves and scroll using the crown, but can't select the option because no select button or even mapping it.
UV index is showing incorrect in my trex2 recently ( shows higher levels of UV index like 8 and 11 even though it was raining) while there was no issues in the beginning. Is it the same with your watch ( trex2) ? If yes, do you have any idea ? I already did a factory reset and reboot to check if it helps but tough luck !
In terms of features and latest sensor GTR has an edge but that's not the case when it comes to build quality. So you will have to decide what features matter to you the most and then decide for yourself.

T rex 2 has a strength tracking that allow to count sets and repetitions of exercises during a gym training; could you please say us if GTR 4 pro offers the same possibility or not, thanks
@@wearholic thank you, that feature could surprise you ;) but it's very important for me and others that do lot of gym and only these 2 watches from amazfit and some garmins support this, the others just count heart rate and calories during strength sessions

The GTR4 has the new Biotracker v4.0 so its accuracy should be improved with respect to the v3.0 that the T-Rex2 sports

Well the gtr4 is quite new in the market so there's time for Amazfit to bring those features on the trex 2 via software update.
Let's hope so but in my opinion, Amazfit would keep them for newer generation models. I may be wrong though so let's wait & see what happens.

So what I'm getting from this is that the GTR 4 is a smartwatch first, and the T-Rex 2 is a fitness watch with some smart functions.
Have you tried connect this watch to external HRM, if you could make a small video on that, if would be great help us.

I had to go with GTR 3 Pro instead of GTR 4 just for the design. GTR 4, with this plastic, red dot, button looks so cheap.
