We definitely don’t always carry cash, but i would hope people want to make deals with us because they are easy. In a time when selling isn’t as easy as it’s always been, having someone easy to deal with can’t be a bad thing.
Ryan will literally tell u if you're NOT charging him enough. He's the most legit out there. That's why he gets deals. He's also the most respectful guy in the industry.
Great video Ryan don’t know if you will see this but I have been going to your shop for a couple of times now and realize you don’t have. That many cbj cards for hockey so just asking if you could get more
If people watch closely, you’re going pretty hard with your negotiation. There’s a few guys you seem to do deals with from the past and it’s different, but there’s a lot of positive takeaways from the way you negotiate (negatives if I’m the seller)
Market is down & not showing signs of drastically increasing. That risk HAS to be calculated in the price. If the market drops weekly, the risk is with the guy with the cards not the cash. When the market is going the right direction, the leverage changes then. That’s how I viewed it this time in Dallas. I appreciate the feedback & the support!
Dallas is a big show, but you learn who is willing to negotiate big deals and who is going to be pretty set on prices. there were a lot of straight vintage guys at this show that Ryan wouldn’t be interested in dealing with for what he’s looking for . There’s also many dealers that had cards priced well above comps and weren’t looking to move off their prices
Zach is spot on here ^ going to this show 10 times, there are people we deal with time & time again. It’s easy to make deals when people know you are easy & they don’t want over comps. Nothing fancy about it
@@cardcollector2 no, I just meant for people who are new to negotiating, I hope they pick up on the subtle things you are doing to get the most out of it!
@@grindstone11 for sure I walk around the show and I see people who definitely watch Ryan’s videos. Problem is they are lowballing the heck of out dealers. Talking fast and just trying to get steals. They miss that Ryan is buying A LOT of cards
Hey man really like the content. I have a question... So I have Zion Williamson immaculate rc gold auto #10. I spent 1500 about 6 months ago. I know he's doing good RN. But should I hold off or is he just a bounce away from another set back
When using paypal to make a sale theres two options. Friends & family means the buyer cop the 3% fee (I think) when making the transfer. The other option is Goods & Services where the seller cops the 3% fee BUT they are protected by paypal to some degree if something goes wrong.
Because this is a card hobby RUclips platform? And giving money away would be pointless, giving cards away to people to bring in attention to the Whatnot sales and their RUclips channel is what I think giveaways should and will do!
This guy bloodeagle is spot on. $ doesn’t bring in the same attention as 25 nice, new cards & helps bring new attention to our whatnot channel which we’re trying to grow. Win for us both. We give stuff away & you check out our whatnot channel. Seems easy 😃✌🏽
Hey I am a big time watcher of the channel! I always click like and watch every video. I love these videos of you negotiating! But you should show what your buying! Like a small screen pops up and shows the deal but you can't even see the cards! I know you do the videos to show after but I like seeing whT your negotiating on. If that makes sense? I am pretty well known in canada for cards I do what you do and am really successful.
Thanks for the feedback, Garett. Hardest part is we don’t always remember the 1 card after. It’s easier to show the entire deal. That’s also why we do pickups videos & try talking more about the cards there. Will always try to make it better though, so we will work on it.

CC2, I JUST LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE DEALS, IVE LEARNED HOW TO SHOP WITH DEALERS, THANKS TO YOU 👍
9:58 Oliver the man!!!!
I like your negotiation skills. Youre beeing honest and usually they go down to 80 ish percent to move theire stuff. Seems like a win win
I think people do good deals with him because they know he's carrying cash and need to maximize the $ spent

@CardCollector2 What the percent you don't get deals done?

'what does friends and family' mean in card dealing?

The other option is Goods & Services where the seller cops the 3% fee BUT they are protected by paypal to some degree if something goes wrong.
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you
Is this your $50,000 or whatnots $50,000?
Another great video and 1st
🐐
Who buys these crap cards he picks up….
What's the sole purpose of a giveaway? you spend money only to give it away. so you lose money....why not just give away cash?
Whatnot will have supplied the cash, there are a few card channels doing the same with the same amount and having a whatnot auction this weekend.
Because this is a card hobby RUclips platform? And giving money away would be pointless, giving cards away to people to bring in attention to the Whatnot sales and their RUclips channel is what I think giveaways should and will do!
