A lot of music was ahead of its time in the 80es. It was a craddle for almost any later music, including electronics and metal. And to be honest a lot of it will never be copied or beaten, because look at cardi b for example, the worst of the worst shit ever. The pendulum is swinging the other way now and very fast.

I'm a huge Stewart Copeland fan for me one of the best drummers there is but after seeing this show I sent the drummer an e mail to tell him I was impressed with him performance, nice guy as he even sent an e mail back.

Billy always had great solid bands and live shows. The drummer and Steve Stevens killed in this show and the bass and keyboards were awesome too.

Same as the Doors. I saw the Doors without Jim with the Cult singer in Dortmund live, it was good to be with fans in the subway afterwards all singing together after the concert which was excellent but in a way horrible without Jim Morrison. It was my favourite band and read the biography 'No one gets out of here alive' many times. Visited Pere Lachaise,the grave,before his parents had the tombstone erected, after many years of ignorance from his admiral father. Found it without a map close to Chopins, beer bottles and dirt all over.
Could not watch the movie later ...saw a trailer and did not like Val Kilmer so I missed Your role, too up to now, except some minutes. I think You would have been million times better in Jim' s role in voice, temperament and feeling for poetry ✍

Have seen billy in concert in his young days and more recently. One thing that has not changed in all that time, he, Steve, and the band always give 100% on stage! Never a dull moment and they sound fantastic.

Steve and Billy have been making great music together since Generation X days. Amazing

Billy's guitar player was Bob Derwood Andrews and later in Generation X's career(s) Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols joined in, (at least for a couple of sessions on the "Kiss Me Deadly" album) Generation X broke up between 1980 and 1981 under the moniker Gen X. Between 1981 and 1982 Billy Idol came to New York to launch his solo career and that's when Steve Stevens joined in.
