Adorable! Loved watching Andy & Jerry together! The singing, the dancing, the snapping, the tapping, the thrusting, the "no" thrusting, the smiling, the laughing, the yelling...Hey,Lady!!!
Mr. Andy Williams is one of the reasons I wish I was born in the earlier years. I'm just 32 and have just recently stumbled upon this gem in youtube. I must admit I love this kind of stuff more than the music that is being produced today. I wish I could have met him. *sniff. i also appreciate Mr. Jerry Lewis' comedy. Great talents here.
It's so great seeing Jerry Lewis in his comedic prime. This clip reminds me why I never missed a Jerry Lewis movie as a child (in the 60's). And both Jerry and Andy move great!
OMG - would someone PLEASE make SOMEONE put out DVDs of Andy's shows....this is priceless and I remember the first time I saw it...I was young, but loved Jerry and even more, LLLLLOOOOVVVVEEED ANDY!!!! I would pay a pretty penny for a collection of Andy's shows......any one else???????
No politics. No race baiting. No attacks. Two talented people performing for an audience. How did we come to where we are now? so much has been lost. Today's so called talent can not hold a candle to the class, talent, and delight that this simple 6 minute skit generates.
I always thought of Andy Williams as kind of a stick-up-the-ass fud, someone my parents listened to but now I can't get enough of these clips. He was actually kind of cool and had a lovely voice and a sense of humor that his guest stars could play off of. Lewis made the most of it in this clip and both of them are hilarious.
This is significant. This clip is five days before his career-changing injury. Jerry Lewis injured his back on March 20, 1965, while performing a pratfall from a piano during a show at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. He was never the same after that. We could very well be watching the last footage of Jerry Lewis's brilliant physicality.
After you said, "this is how I lost my partner" look into his eyes. They suddenly veiled with tears and she ran a finger over one of her eyes as if to chase them away. Jerry Jerry ... how much pain did you keep feeling inside?
"I'm not used to be yelled at" Awww! Andy is so adorable like was he ever not just the cutest, buttoned-up, sweet guy we see on his shows? If he was don't tell me. He and Jerry are sweet together. It's hard to watch either Dean or Jerry adlib in the '60s because invariably they throw in a jab about the break up. It's 2016 and it's still too soon.
This was VERY COOL! I really miss Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis together! They had some wonderful dance numbers in there films! Dean and Jerry could really move! This reminds me of M&L in a lotta ways! The cool straight man and the comic! GREAT STUFF!
1:22 right after you said, "this is how I lost my partner" look into his eyes. They suddenly veiled with tears and she ran a finger over one of her eyes as if to chase them away. Jerry Jerry ... how much pain did you keep feeling inside?
I don't remember when Jerry Lewis became the "Golden Boy" but for me, the last time he was truly funny was when he was with Dean Martin. After those years he became what you see here. An UN-funny meshuggener who thought he could do anything he pleased and the world would love him no matter what. His association with MDA kept him in the loop. His telethons were legendary. In an ever-changing entertainment age it was the biggest variety show on the face of the earth. But variety shows were like Vaudeville...a thing of the past. He became a bitter old man whose time was past and he was no longer relevant...he didn't matter anymore and he did not and would not ride into the sunset gracefully.
But it still worked Joseph! Because he does it in a special way! Because there was something about Mr. Lewis that made him different from anybody else!
Didn't Jerry Lewis attribute a severe back injury to an appearance on an Andy Williams Show where he took a pratfall and subsequently developed an addiction to Percodan? Was this the episode? Andy was a marvelous entertainer and probably the greatest interpreter of the music of Henry Mancini during the 60's and 70's.
MrImiller07 yes but it happened at the end after the chorus bit. this clip has been cut before the fall. they used water guns for the gag and the floor was slippery. shawn levy, lewis’ biographer, said it was from this event. lewis claimed it was from a fall performing at the sands hotel.
All the old GREATS worked their way up sweating and learning so their PERSONALITY on stage seemed natural. Jerry, red skeleton, jim neighbors or andy just to name a few had their public face and their private. Completely professional and infinitely talented
People who post this stuff and enjoy it are making the world a better place. Thank you all. Donald Ritz

He was that guy. Grew up watching his Christmas special with his family. Miss those days.
Two favorites. Jerry was a phenom
I often come back to watch this skit. It is absolutely halarious. Jerry Lewis is the King of Comedy. There will never be another like him!
Boys can dance. Andy's singing is so beautiful and seemingly effortless. What a natural, a good sport, too.
who was the better singer Andy or Dean or were both great??????????!!!!!
Andy had a wonderful voice, but I prefer Dean's

Many have forgotten how great of an actor Jerry Lewis was!
I was born in the wrong era! Love this stuff. Andy Williams is so nice and Jerry...well mmmmmmm....he is gorgeous!
yes...Jerry is breathtaking!
Yes, you were!! I’m in my 60’s and I come here to watch this every time I’m disgusted with crap on Television today which is pretty much everyday😔
Jerry is so cute!

The way Jerry dances and sings, it's just awesome!
absolutely priceless - no swearing, no violence, two great talents cutting loose - oh, how low we're sinking with Dustbin Jeiber and Catty Pairy
Loved this. Andy was such gentleman. I'm 53 and he was my first crush. Crazily, I married a n Andy.😍
I loved these specials as a kid. So wholesome. The whole family could watch

Good for Andy.
I can't watch this enough. I sill laugh and enjoy their performance like the first time I saw it.
These guys are so brilliant side by side. What a combination. When they sync they are magic.
Both of these first class stars are still with us!
This is an example of how good TV was then!
Love Jerry singing "Undecided" at 3:10. And my goodness, his rhythm when he's dancing is so impeccable!
Jerry had rhythm in his blood.
Beautiful gifts to the world, both.
RIP to both of those wonderful men

Love this....2 master performers at their best! This is when television was worth watching.
Now that's entertainment . Two legends in their prime.. Didn't.t know Andy Williams had it in him.

Fantásticos!!
BRILLIANT!
Thanks ! =)
A example of a lost art form....the TV Variety show.Thank god for RUclips.
how could have people got bored of jerry's humor? I will never understand it
Love his early stuff but it didn't work when he got older. Never changed his schtick. At 90 he still does the 9 year old.
=(
But it still worked Joseph! Because he does it in a special way! Because there was something about Mr. Lewis that made him different from anybody else!
I'm with Joseph. Jerry, like Lucille Ball, never updated the old act. When he aged, he just came across as sad.
he came across as sad for you though and for other people who do not like him! His fans loved him always. He was always great and is a legend!
you'll find many tapes or dvd of Andy's shows on the web where I bought this one. Regards from France.
spettacolari
I think it might be. He seems to hurt himself at 4.40 then recovers to finish the number, probably in some pain. A true professional.
Andy had a fabulous voice and a really big head lol
0:20 --> 0:26 is just amazing.
😂😂😂😂
