Our economy is great, yet my wife and I working a 9-5 job and extra part-time is struggling to feed the entire family! Rental takes about 50% of our salary! I've never been in a situation where I had to trade off what to eat with what to use/wear but sadly this is a decision that I'm constantly facing now. I buy a few decent meals for my family, then I can't afford new clothes or a new vacuum cleaner. How are we supposed to celebrate this amazing country when we can barely live?
