Wishing Carol and her family many more happy years in their home. Well done guys. Great job.
Tap Tap Tap. Well done TOH. The ladies must be elated and certainly appreciate being helped out. One of your most rewarding projects to date.
@Michael E don’t listen to the looser Brian. He’s a jealous, troll who gets a hard on commenting on TOH videos.
Tommy, Rich, Kevin & now Charlie and everyone else, I discovered your show many years ago. I introduced my husband to TOH just after we got married. He knew-for any project, I would say, "What would Tommy do? What would Rich do? What would Roger [miss him] do?" I LOVE LOVE to see old houses restored-not just becoming a throwaway. Would love to hear how Kevin "built" his own house😅 The Excellence Continues! ❤️❤️TOH & AskTOH
Such a nice thing for TOH to chip in and for their employees to volunteer to get things done. I wish more people did this.
They all got paid big bucks and all you can eat lobstah suppers for free every day
@@Kevin-mp5of Dat was mahndahtohry to tugh da Silvah bonah
I hope they do more houses like this in the future, not mansions with million dollar finishes and constant brand sponsors
@@Kevin-mp5of personally I watch the show for tips on my own house, that's kinda how it started. There's plenty of home renovation shows that are about wowing you and showing off an outstanding final product. The mansions they usually do just seem so out of reach for most people
Awesome work and congrats to Carol and her family to getting back into their beautiful home. Boston needs more triple deckers!
@@Kevin-mp5of nevertheless they're needed!
This is my favorite series yet. Isn't Charlie great?
Such a beautiful house, so many windows and every room awash in light. She should be able to make a nice chunk of change renting that gorgeous top floor, too.
I want to see more of these!
Loved seeing this! I've lived in two of these triple deckers Dorchester at different times in my life so this was a welcome walk down memory lane! Great job to the team and best wishes to carol and her family!
That really does look nice, good job.
Congratulations to Kay and the other residents. It's beautiful, and I love that lilac paint.
So grateful for all the that the team of TOH has done for this family.
whole project from begining to the end captured my interest
OMGoodness! Charlie Silva looks like a double for Charlie Sheen!!😂😂
I love the idea of a triple decker as opposed to a triplex. Probably would have to have an elevator in them now to rent them.
Generally three stories and above require an elevator now, at least in the US. I'd loosen that regulation if it were up to me, you could still ensure the bottom unit is ADA accessable
@@Kevin-mp5of good point. It's anecdotal but I feel like most non-handicapped people would choose the second or third floor first. There's other workarounds like having an elevator with a spiral staircase (takes about a quarter of the area of a normal one) so that having an elevator wouldn't make the project financially unreasonable. Then more space can be given to unit size and hopefully make developers more incentivized to build this more gentle density
Love this reveal so much. The artwork on Carol's floor is gorgeous and vibrant!
It is fantastic to see how much people can help when we come together. Congratulations to Carol and her family. Many happy years to spend in the new home and many happy memories.
@@brianglade848 regardless is still great stuff. When was the last time you have helped your neighbor, doing a favor doesn't count.
Fabulous end result, that plumbing in the basement was a work of art
What a great job and congratulations to the home owner
So happy for them to get their home back, such great work from all! :D
Love it! Great job everyone
They did a great job and the house looks amazing! Congrats to Carol and Willa!
Beautiful, well done! Hopefully we see more episodes helping ordinary and working class people going forward.
This episode makes me really happy.
Beautiful 🤩
Absolutely gorgeous TOH team
Really beautiful quality work
What a beautiful home. I'd love to live there!
Beautiful job everyone 💯
This show is at its best when they don’t have unlimited money for these renovations.
It looks beautiful
Nice job. Looks great.
i know this isnt as grand as the other mansions toh has done in the recent past but hands down my favorite
🎊YAY! 🎊 YAY! 🎉YAY! 🎉 YAY! Congratulations to Carol on getting into her home again and I hope that she has a blessed time in her home and she and her home will stay safe?
I'm glad that you got the ending to this episode!
Now the next episode needs to be a full one like this but This Old House needs to do an entire home for a person who is in a wheelchair and not just a simple wheelchair ramp but a full entire renovation including things such as a full elevator, not a little dummy waiter and full cut outs under the stove, sinks and other adaptive equipment, etc? If anything it would be nice if the home ended up with an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub that were made accessible with a fire pit with BBQ. With decks on the other levels of the home.
Good job!
🕊️ Good Evening! 🤗
This Old House 🏡
Very nice happy ending
Very nice. Good job.
wow! be still my heart !
Well done TOH
You see the way Carols eye's light up when Kevin walks in the room??? Oh She sweet on him! :)
@@Kevin-mp5of He may take her out to eat and she'll order Lobsta! :)
@@brianglade848 LoL
This is one of my fav TOH projects to date because it's far more realistic than 90% of the projects you do, which are probably million dollar projects. It's a shame Carol had to fight with the insurance company at every turn (the worst industry I can think of), but the finished home looks pretty great and the quality of work (for the most part) seems similar to the high dollar projects you do. Well done!

@2:02: Wait, you renovated a house built in 1905 and that had been severely damaged in a fire... and YOU DIDN'T BUDGET FOR CODE COMPLIANCE?!?!
I rather go with Electric Heating system then the added Expensive bill for Gas. Plus Electric is safer then Gas to. As Never have to worry about Gas pilots going out and filling up the house with Dangerous explosive gas.
HAte the lime wall Color🤮
It's not your home
