Exactly my point... Like i'm 99% sure youtubers just fly forever, wait to get a lucky match and then say it's the best plane in the game... When in fact the reality of this plane is it sucks, it's opportunistic and it's not a good grinder...

This plane has ruined almost the whole br range of 7.7 to 6.0 I say tha because it takes an 8.0 aircraft to beat it as it preforms ridiculously well and is far under tiered
I would say you have equal grounds with 7.7 plane like F80C. They will prolly leave it as is for time being.
Just saying that you did at 1:22 wasn't a Split S since you went upward. Going downward is called a Split S. What you did is an Immelmann turn.

I think we can call agree that this is the Yak32 cancer but worse because its premium and worse they will not nerf it because its something people paid for.
They know that if they do nerf it or change its BR. Then players who bought it will demand their money back.
So sadly like with the 288, its not going to change till they add something at 7.0 BR that can actually counter it. Till then the su11 cancer is here to stay

It does, however the weight and speed bleed make it useless once it does climb. You'll end up climbing roughly the same rate with these considerations

True, but when it's 50% off how can you not get it. It's by far the best thing in the sky, and you get the RP and SL modifier on top. It's a very forgiving plane if you make mistakes as a pilot too

Kikka turns like a cruise liner in my experience. Su11s will kick your teeth in most of the time

What's your general tips for using this thing?
Gun convergence? , vertical targeting on?, and start of the match altitude to reach?
Most of the matches I end up in would pair me against other jets like the Horten, the 263, F84Bs, and the like. Got any tips for these uptiers?
Hey,
So things like convergence and vertical tsrgeting on or off is usually preference. If you fly with it on or off, stick with that and for convergence. Because the guns have a high velocity, I'd stick to convergence 500+, also the guns are in the nose so the conference doesn't matter too much.
When you start best altitude to stick at would be 4000m. Once you reach this, fly at a 5° climb till you spot enemies.
The best thing to think about is your strengths and their weaknesses. The SU-11 has 30ms climb rate which is a good indicator that vertical is your friend, you're also small and light compared to those planes. Horten can turn fight but can't rolling scissor, it also struggles if you are defensive and sticking to his wing tips (he has no rudder).
The 263 is very fast and nimble however is suffered with compression. If you get jumped by one, you need to get him fast so he compresses. So fly fast and stick to his wing tips also because he doesn't have a rudder. He should then plummet into the ground or he will pull off due to his speed. You can also get him fast and when he is compressing you can manouver horizontally around him.
Finally f84s. These are a little tricky, because they are good solid planes. But they do suffer with bleeding speed very quickly. They also have a poor climbrate especially compared to the su-11. So they thing here is to always start above them.
Just to conclude. Make sure you are the highest plane on the sky because other planes really do struggle against you. Boom and zoom should be your main way to attack enemies. Always lookout for teammates in a dog fight because the enemy is bound to go slow and you'll have a couple opportunities to kill them before you need to back off and retain speed.

@@YTFabbyUK Thanks for these awesome tips. I've watched Spit_Flyer and Defyn's videos on the Su-11 but didn't know what to do in prep before dogfights as they always ended up skipping to the gameplay.
I'll use what you've stated to try and counter these jets. Though my aim is messy with these guns. Thanks again!
su11 and other aircraft alike have quite a learning curve for aiming of the guns, I wasnt really hitting anything in the first 200 games with this thing :D skill issue definitely

Any tips to better my aim in air rb?
So very basic tips of you know you have bad aim are to atleast 3 plane lengths ahead of your enemy. I'd also recommend when you are trying to get a deflection shot on an enemy shoot a line from left to right. An example of this would be to spray from 2 plane lengths ahead to 4 plane lengths to guarantee a hit. I might make a video explaining different ways to aim
Go into a custom battle and just shoot away. Soon enough, it'll be second nature.

@@YTFabbyUK fr, the maximum range that I hit with those guns was 0,8 km and it was one of my best kills, also they are very slow and inaccurate.

SU-11 only great in the hands of a good player, in the hands of a noob like me with crap crew this plane aint that good. 5 mathes played 0 kills 5 deaths 0% win rate yeh not a good plane at all but pros will always say its op but nah it aint its cos ya good at the game its simple as that. Plane sucks ass. Also what is with the yellow markers? some sort of cheat or something lol
You'll get good with it with the consistency of using it :) you've also got to do a little bit of planning before you pick your battles. I'm currently working on a video/guide for getting better aim and then I'll also make a video on what to do before picking your fights, so that should help. Crew is important and it helps so much!
No not a cheat lol, it's a squad marker. (in the settings) I use it to communicate to my squad mate where I'm about to engage so he can know where I'm looking
@@YTFabbyUK Nah flown it a few times now and i find it garbage. Turn rate sucks and other planes just get on me and thats it boom dead. Dont find it fun at all. And this is my main issue with WT if ya aint pro then go on home. GF is just as bad with tanks that shouldnt be facing each other from different eras and Naval is full of aim bots.

No doubt you have to be decent/understand energy states and planes pros and cons to win. Top teir, I suck! Got the f14 and I hate it because I don't know how to play top teir. Each teir has a different meta/style when it comes to jets.

@@YTFabbyUK Well i dont play top tier even though i have some cos i suck at the game. Planes i tend to fly props like Wyvern and others but when i comes to the jets i find them to be really bad cos they dont turn for shit even though i see players spinning them on a dime lol

Why do you even play war thunder??? It's the most pay to win game I have ever seen. And the grind even if you ARE really good at the game can take YEARS and it is just too much for most players, also the repair costs usually consume all of your kill earnings anyways-
I enjoy the game and especially the props along with early jets. The repair costs is never an issue as I always earn way more SL that I lose. I also enjoy playing sim in vr. It feels like I have more than one game in that aspect. I personally really enjoy the game but understand it's not for everyone
worst plane i ever flew in war thunder... i can't decide between it and the S199... I wish you guys doing videos on it would put a big disclaimer saying... DO NOT BUY IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO USE CRAPPY ASS GUNS THAT TAKE 1 HOUR TO FLY 100 METERS -_- Maybe then i wouldn't spend my money on a piece of crap plane that's not even ok let alone busted... It's not fast, it's not turny, doesn't have brakes, the guns cannot for the life of me be aimed. and? it's 7.3? And? why does it matter? it has the exact same matchmaker as any other rank V jet, it could be a 7.7 or an 8.0 and it wouldn't make any difference... i have done 150 matches with it and i got 1 6.3 match 😅 And that doesn't even matter cause if you can't connect your bullets with anyone at will it doesn't matter if they are in a F-86 or a P-51H... I'm still gonna miss the shot... I wish someone could make a warning video about this plane so people don't waste their money on it... Like literally fly the LA-200, at least it has busted speed and can boom and zoom everyone all day...
