The Mamamoo member won't be the reason why they would disband because they love what they do, it's gonna be the company who is gonna be responsible for their disbandment because even right now they are completely sabotaging each member's career. Faulty/delayed album productions, barely any marketing or promotion for this comeback, and many more reasons. When it comes to Mamamoo, the company doesn't give a crap. Even the members said themselves that they wanted to go on a retreat but the company wont give it to them even though they are the reason why RBW became relevant in the first place

The music video's concept of waking up after a night of heavy partying reminds me of Gogobebe, and Solar's pink costume (especially the hat) made me think of her yellow one in her solo Honey. As for Hwasa her green costume with the silver bra on top gave me such de ja vu but I couldn't pinpoint it, so I looked back at their older MVs and realised one of her costumes in Dingga is incredibly similar to this one, same green and silver tones and everything! Both Gogobebe and Dingga have that similar vibe/message of have fun and don't care about tomorrow, so it was cool to see them thematically call back to that, especially since many KPop groups shy away from those sorts of "unsanitised" concepts (not a dig at "sanitised" concepts, it's just refreshing to have some variety) 😊

Even a lot of the staging reminds me of other songs- the bleacher section reminds me heavily of Spit It Out, even though the outfits arent similar at all. From my perspective, Solar is wearing the fur hat to reference Honey, Moonbyul is wearing the bomber jacket in reference to Lunatic, Hwasa is wearing mainly green fits in refrence to the "I'm a b*tch" album, which mainly consists of green hues in album art and the MV, while Wheein wearing a lot of red here and there in refrence to her latest solo album under RBW titled "Redd" (her solo album that was released afterwards named "Whee" was released AFTER she left RBW, that's why I think they can't reference that since they don't have the rights to that album).

I think this MV is all about their upcoming World tour. From the sets pointing towards the bts of every concert (under the stage set, truck set). How I would personally interpret is that although, right off the bat, it may seem like a sensual/relationships type of song, it is all about Moomoos and Mamamoo being the lovers (as portrayed from the lyrics) and having that ILLELLA moment or that "something is about to break moment" as felt during live concerts as they give their everything, their energy in each performance. These things could also be strengthened by the fact that they started from the "waking up scene" as a portrayal of a post concert type of vibe. Outfit-wise, it all seems to portray that we may see them now as SOLO artists by the day, but when concert time comes with their fans (during the night), they can be seen as one, as MAMAMOO (as portrayed by their uniformed thematic styling of clothes - the black and white ones). Overall I love this MV. It's an earworm to be frank especially with all their adlibs and wheein's runs (if that's correct). Can't wait for their live performances and the spice that they may add to each of it.

Indeed, they're all wearing stuff that mostly represents them as them individually/their solo work, AND if you notice, they only have those kinds of outfits for their solo scenes (Solar in the trucks, Moonbyul in the mirrors room, WheeIn at the gas station and Hwasa with the mech bull). But when they have the group dancing scenes they're all coordinated like they've always been (they beige outfits, the white/red in the blue room, the white ones but in the rooftop, and the all black in front of the neon lights). To me personally feels like they're reinforcing or re imaging what they did for the 4seasons projects but all in 1 song: We are individuals with different styles, different solo work and essence as artists, but when we come together we're strong and we are one, we are MAMAMOO. It's pretty cool honestly, I'm not a big fan of the reggeton sound in general but they managed to do it in a way that it's not boring despite being repetitive (because reggeton in general is VERY repetitive, a lot of the beats/rhythms/sounds etc. are mostly the same all the time; Moonbyul did great with the rap bits of the song, she has improved a LOT).

For example Hwasa is referencing Dingga with her outfit and ridding that cow (reference to fandom), Moonbyul is referencing Hwasa’s I’m a B with her outfit and mirror scene, Moonbyul with the hammer is referencing Solar’s Honey and her dark cowboy outfit, it’s a reference to her own Second World outfit (a singing contest she is in now), also Solar’s pink dress is like Wheein’s Watercolor blue dress! Solar and a Wheein have space buns like Lunatic, all Mamamoo is making a reference to Maria’s psych hospital scene! There a lot more references to their old songs that usually only fans can realize! And in THE MUSIC too! When the teasers came out, all of us fans recognized old sounds put here in purpose! I’m loving this comeback so much! Mamamoo is such a special group and I have really missed them in K-pop. These women are amazing artists and I hope they will tour in the US because I will travel to any state to see them.
I agree that their outfits match their individual styles here, that's also how I always feel about their outfits for live performances, often they somehow match but they also look like they fit each member's personal style, which is very cool.
While I enjoyed the comeback I was sad to find out the dance break section is not in the actual song and it is just a section included in the MV 😕 was my favourite part!
Yes, I too noticed the outfits! Hwasa is wearing the straightjacket and the pinkish tank top she had in "Maria" and Solar definitely has the same hat style of "Honey." Moonbyul's outfits reminds of "Lunatic", but the darker ones could be a reminder of "Eclipse" as well

Mamamoo song is always peculiar at the first time you heard it but it makes you always come back for more. Like a buildable enjoyment. Its getting more fun everytime you hear it.
The album is great and i love that our girls are finally back. With the solo themed outfits i would definitely agree since older songs and stages simply had them in matching outfits for Vocal Line and Rapper Line just with inverse colours or like Youre the Best where they have the same outfit just in different colours. They use these solo outfits for more than just solo shots in MVs nowadays for example at Kpopflex they all wore outfits reflecting their solo work and that was very much a group activity.
A little note: in Korean, when L is followed with an N, the N became silent and it’s just L. A few other letter combinations also changes the way a letter is pronounced (an example would be B before N makes an M).
This song is such a bop! Loved this comeback a lot. I love the lil Easter eggs they put in for fans like reusing one or two of the same outfits for the video and including a bit of their other songs. I haven't found a Mamamoo song that I don't absolutely love. They are so versatile and sound like women rather than girls and that is really what made me get into them and have been hooked since. They are also able to 1up themselves every single comeback Solar I think I saw that outfit in Honey Hwasa I belive that outfit is Dingga Moonbyul outfits, one reminded me of Dark Side of the Moon and one reminded me of Lunatic I'm still trying to figure out Wheein's outfit.

I totally agree with you! Most K-pop girl groups' music is too similar and boring! Mamamoo strong strength can be competent in all types of music. Their voices are sometimes powerful, and sometimes beautiful and touching. They are incredible K-pop world's unique super beautiful voices!
I like this song! But i wish they did something more with the beat in the dance break and extended it a bit, also considering that part is just MV only and not included in the audio version, kinda dissapointing (Kinda like Dingga's dance break). Overall pretty good song!

before their cb they invited k-fans to do a listening party and to choose between the 3 tracks included on the album to be the new title track (they chose illella) but they were all being considered as title tracks!
i loved this comeback! the song's structure is so weird; there's no second chorus, they just skip right ahead to the dance break (which was surprising, because I think the only other song by them that had a dance break was hip??) and then the final chorus, where the key change was so cool. that part before moonbyul's first rap, where it has shots of the camera scaling upwards to her face, that was so cool! and as a moonbyul stan, i think her parts in this were incredible. I'd also probably give it a solid 8/10, it was a really strong comeback.
Aya also has a dance break and it only got a meaning for me how good it is when I came across it directly. It's worth watching the song Aya with a look at the choreo. This is really well done and hugh. I honestly haven't appreciated it that much at first. But that's the way it is with a lot of Mamamoo stuff, once you know a few things your perspective totally changes and you experience the whole artistic impact of their work, which a casual listener tends to miss. From then on, the fun with the Mamamoo phenomenon only begins.
@@anncosmoo oh yes, i forgot about Aya. I don't know much about dance so it's hard for me to appreciate other than finding it cool. But Aya is a really really interesting song music-wise, especially the key change at the end after the bridge. That part just blew my mind!

For example Hwasa is referencing Dingga with her outfit and ridding that cow (reference to fandom), Moonbyul is referencing Hwasa’s I’m a B with her outfit and mirror scene, Moonbyul with the hammer is referencing Solar’s Honey and her dark cowboy outfit, it’s a reference to her own Second World outfit (a singing contest she is in now), also Solar’s pink dress is like Wheein’s Watercolor blue dress! Solar and a Wheein have space buns like Lunatic, all Mamamoo is making a reference to Maria’s psych hospital scene! There a lot more references to their old songs that usually only fans can realize! And in THE MUSIC too! When the teasers came out, all of us fans recognized old sounds put here in purpose! There are a lot of Twitter videos putting some of the sounds together and they are really self referencing their old songs!
Also realised that yellow, blue,red and white are their past album colors and names.

I’m loving this comeback so much! Mamamoo is such a special group and I have really missed them in K-pop. These women are amazing artists and I hope they will tour in the US because I will travel to any state to see them.

I agree that their outfits match their individual styles here, that's also how I always feel about their outfits for live performances, often they somehow match but they also look like they fit each member's personal style, which is very cool.
While I enjoyed the comeback I was sad to find out the dance break section is not in the actual song and it is just a section included in the MV 😕 was my favourite part!

Yes, I too noticed the outfits! Hwasa is wearing the straightjacket and the pinkish tank top she had in "Maria" and Solar definitely has the same hat style of "Honey." Moonbyul's outfits reminds of "Lunatic", but the darker ones could be a reminder of "Eclipse" as well

The album is great and i love that our girls are finally back.
With the solo themed outfits i would definitely agree since older songs and stages simply had them in matching outfits for Vocal Line and Rapper Line just with inverse colours or like Youre the Best where they have the same outfit just in different colours. They use these solo outfits for more than just solo shots in MVs nowadays for example at Kpopflex they all wore outfits reflecting their solo work and that was very much a group activity.

A little note: in Korean, when L is followed with an N, the N became silent and it’s just L. A few other letter combinations also changes the way a letter is pronounced (an example would be B before N makes an M).

I haven't found a Mamamoo song that I don't absolutely love. They are so versatile and sound like women rather than girls and that is really what made me get into them and have been hooked since. They are also able to 1up themselves every single comeback

I like this song! But i wish they did something more with the beat in the dance break and extended it a bit, also considering that part is just MV only and not included in the audio version, kinda dissapointing (Kinda like Dingga's dance break). Overall pretty good song!

i loved this comeback! the song's structure is so weird; there's no second chorus, they just skip right ahead to the dance break (which was surprising, because I think the only other song by them that had a dance break was hip??) and then the final chorus, where the key change was so cool.
that part before moonbyul's first rap, where it has shots of the camera scaling upwards to her face, that was so cool! and as a moonbyul stan, i think her parts in this were incredible. I'd also probably give it a solid 8/10, it was a really strong comeback.
Aya also has a dance break and it only got a meaning for me how good it is when I came across it directly. It's worth watching the song Aya with a look at the choreo. This is really well done and hugh. I honestly haven't appreciated it that much at first. But that's the way it is with a lot of Mamamoo stuff, once you know a few things your perspective totally changes and you experience the whole artistic impact of their work, which a casual listener tends to miss. From then on, the fun with the Mamamoo phenomenon only begins.
@@anncosmoo oh yes, i forgot about Aya. I don't know much about dance so it's hard for me to appreciate other than finding it cool. But Aya is a really really interesting song music-wise, especially the key change at the end after the bridge. That part just blew my mind!

@@skyhideaway those are the things about aya that i also liked and had to find out to understand how well it is produced. i think for present music producers/composers is the discography of mamamoo a feast for the ears. for me as an ordinary listener, the quality of the song is probably not even close to comprehensible ^^ but I can quickly feel whether it's good or not. that's why i'm really become a fan of them, although I otherwise listen to music normally.
