  • This short video was originally going to be uploaded to here back in 2018 of the DL class loco ( DL36Y ) which lives at Cohunu Park here in Perth Western Australia but as it didn't get to happen for such a long time until now - I hope that it'll give everyone some idea of how a miniature locomotive can be built & works ; This particular loco was built by a person known as Sid Shepherd many years earlier & has since been put into regular service at Cohunu Park & this particular video shows it's "inner workings" just after I had to make a small extension to the gear selector link so that it'd stay put when it was in reverse gear plus also make up a "sleeve" that keeps the bogie pin central within the steel tubing as it did keep jumping out of gear due to long time wear & my repair job did actually work at the time.
I hope that this video will "inspire" many others out there who are into miniature railways to build a loco like this one.

Thank you , Sid did a good job of it with what he was able to do at the time but we "try to keep it working on a regular basis as it's very needed at the park.
