The EX30 is nearly a perfect vehicle, with the exception of a missing HUD. With Volvo being a safety-first car company, I'm rather surprised that the opted NOT to have a Heads Up Display, which will cause the driver to take their eyes off the road. Please reconsider adding a HUD as optional!
A very clever design both inside and out but like others have commented I am not sure whether I could live without a driver binnacle or head up display for speed, SatNav and essential information. Disappointing to note that there are no buttons/switches for heating and ventilation. With Tesla even withdrawing drive and indicator stalks is it not time to have some regulation as what functions should be quickly accessed with one touch through a physical control than through a touch screen?
Very impressed! I like the open feel inside, but I wouldn’t want to be a rear passenger, and it really needs a sun roof shade. The only thing I wonder about is the One Pedal drive with the RWD vs the AWD. Volvo seems to have done a good job of it, but I’m not sure I’d trust RWD to slow down when it’s slippery out. Thanks for a solid, detailed review, Thomas!
Lots of great insights. Continuing to be the best reviewer on RUclips. Thomas is never afraid to pass on justified criticism and look for all the details. Oh and those giggles from the passenger are always entertaining too !
In general, I like very much your reviews. One thing that is very important for me to know is the turning circle of cars as it is practical when you park the car.
It is a raised small car (like a corsa, but higher) so rear seats are for children and the trunk is for shopping... that's it. It has a good turning circle for the city/europe and they are using the Volvo brand to give less for around the same money than the siblings cost. My problem with this car is that they have given priority the looks over the practicality. Cause being an electric car with an electric platform, they could have created a shorter hood (like the ID.3) and have more room inside/trunk. No ICE engine, no need to have such hood, just have something closer to what people are used to. The cards/ultrasound/etc totally agree... just a simple key fob and no need for all that stuff. I am all into tech, but I do not need to use my phone to get into my car and start the engine.
@@benktlofgren4710 It does not need to be. In a frontal collision the engine is the biggest hazard. Without it, you can optimize the absorption of the impact. There are plenty of EVs with 5star ratings in EuroNCAP with very short hoods, e.g. ID.3, Leaf, Dolphin, etc. IMO this is a design or cost decision.
A front screen would just be redundant & cost more, and do less. What is the 'big whoop' debated of looking down vs to the side? To the side keeps the road in your peripheral vision
Another great video, thanks Autogefühl team! I have to thoroughly disagree with you on the seat trim/upholstery this time though, Thomas. I was thrilled to see that Volvo is now offering a light colour with wool-mix again. I love wool :-) I don't like the feeling of bare skin on plastic-based upholstery (such as leatherette) or leather AT ALL, especially in summer when it gives a sticky feeling. Good to have options in any case :-) Nice touch that they are using flax in the interior. Would be great if the upholstery on the seats would be made of fabric that is made of 100% natural fibers.
Great review as always Thomas. I love the car and great to see one in a different trim - this looks smart. The only miss for me is the lack of any display in the drivers eyeline. Other than that, a great addition to the EV market and I am sure it will sell well. Did you know the Rolls Royce 'mist' story ? The Silver Shadow was orginally called the Silver Mist until someone pointed out the German translation - a lot of hurried reprinting of promo material followed ! 🤣
I find the only I need .. speed .. is in a better position. It is at the same level as the mirrors which I scan left and right for regularly. In my XC40 I have to actually look down and refocus to see the speed. In this it is on the periphery and a quick glance without refocusing. I think people are making this more of an issue than it really is. After all, many old cars like Mini and Moggy1000 had a dreadful speedo lower down in the middle of the dash
Yeah....I thought the same when the Model 3 came out....until I had one as a courtesy car over a weekend. Got used to it in 5 mins....not breaking any deals anymore. Also plenty of aftermarket displays...is easy because all info is in the CAN bus.
@@moestrei The anecdote is appreciated but personal experience varies. I would imagine that manufacturers will lose and have lost a potential demographic who find such cost-cutting measures non-negotiable. Conversely, they would have found a much smaller population who dislike the inclusion of a dash had they chosen to include one.
If available in your market, get this Volvo's sister car the Zeekr X. It has a drivers screen AND an HUD. Lots of other cool features over the EX30 as well.
The center window buttons also helps with cost on right hand drive. No need for a separate door card for the other door. The center controls work the same for RHD and LHD.
That was something I liked about my wife’s Saturn. The A-pillar trim that kept breaking a tab (sharp corners in the mold that should have been filleted so all replacement pieces had the exact same problem) and flopping about, and window and sunroof motors that kept burning out, not so much. Shame GM killed it though. Lots of people liked their sales philosophy. Aside from the issues I mentioned before, the SL2 was a decent car.
For me the lack of any physical controls is the dealbreaker. Even a Nissan Versa has buttons for the power windows. In spite of the handsome looks, this whole vehicle is unforgivably cheap, not just for the asking price but for any basic modern standard of equipment or materials.
The benefit of having a yellow bottom in the console bin is to catch light so it is easier to see/find small items. The is a trick i have seen advertised for some luggage.
Well done for the review 👍🏻, few corrections at 1:28 the smallest (LFP) battery is 49 net or 51 kWh gross capacity, charging 134 kW (all as per Volvo Broscures)
From 22 to 24 minutes: Precious considerations on the advice whether or not to buy the All Wheeles Drive version. Thank You very much 😃 It is a fundamental choice, both are very pleasant to drive. I think the best choice is to buy the performance and possibly deactivate the "4x4" In the uphill hairpin bends 😅
Accident rates are notably higher with high-acceleration capable vehicles, EV or ICE. Drivers quickly exceed their ability to control and safely drive the vehicle. Makes consequences of putting a foot on the wrong pedal more severe.
Great video as always Thomas, thanks for making an honest review!! The car looks simple and futuristic, very Scandinavian sometimes less is more, i like a lot this new Volvo DNA design language. I agree that it will be to good to have a least a small drivers screen for the speed.
So looking forward to my testdrive with the EX30. Single motor standard range is more than good enough for my needs, compared to my 32 kWh e-Golf a massive improvement
I am a subscriber and have watched many of your videos because I feel you explain the technical aspects of cars better than many reviewers. The time has come to spec my EX30 and I have a question about seat materials. As you explained your first and second choices you didn't mention breathability. Do you think there is any difference between the denim and nordico in breathability? I live in Texas, so am concerned with hot weather comfort and yes, I plan to get the cover for the glass roof. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Well it actually doenst differ that much, since the back part of the seats are both breathable fabric, just the seating bottom is leatherette each. So the back part will be more ventilated than the bottom part, but it wont matter which choice you pick, more a color thing.
The material used in the EX30 dashboard with the recycled window frame parts is likely a better choice than having it covered by the denim fabric fibers or the flax as it is likely less prone to staining when drinks or food items are placed on it. Even oily or dirty hands. As it looks like a narrow shelf it may be used as one.
This car REALLY needs a HUD and physical buttons. Tesla gets away with it because their screen is bigger and in "landscape"/horizontal format and their menus/UI are somewhat intuitive. The UI on the EX30 is definitely not.
Greetings from Australia. I signed up to buy the EX30 a few days after the Milan “Big Reveal” and consequently have been hanging out for the driving reviews. IMO Volvo has muffed the opportunity to present the market with a Euro heritage alternative to Tesla M3 and upcoming M2 by adopting the most controversial if not worst feature of T3 - the centre tablet driver interface. Thanks Thomas for your comprehensive and analytical review. However two things that as far as I can tell have not been covered by anyone; front sound bar (also controversial) quality/performance and extent to which Apple CarPlay and Google Assistant can be used to limit the need to fiddle with settings on the display. Comments please? harpar41
It was so unnecessary and a bad decision for them to do this. Why do this and then have the main discussion point of a car they worked so hard on being compared to as adapting one of the most undesirable aspects of a Telsla Model 3 and Y. Bad decision. Some small driver's display and it's not a deal breaker for people that overall like the car.
Thanks for that nice review, I think it´s a really really cool car and it´s bonkers fast, the fastest Volvo ever and faster 0 - 100 km/h than a Ferrari 360. INSANELY FAST but ....... there should have been an option for a heads-up display !!!!
Great review. Thanks for getting out the tape measure in the boot. Did you happen to take any horizontal measurements in the rear seat (back of front seat to rear seat cushion) and similar measurement from front seat from seat cushion to dash (passenger side)?
Hey Thomas! What type of motor are these? Are the one on the front asynchronous and the one on the back synchronous like the updated XC40? With or without permanent magnet?
Not having at least speed HUD is one thing put me off buying Tesla 3 and because of I am looking elsewhere as of now. It is very difficult to keep up with speed in urban area when the only indication is on the screen aside of your viewing angle when driving. I keep constantly shift my attention from the road to check the speed and this is not good for me while driving on busy roads (London).
Will you make a review on the Core version in the future? I'm really curios about it has good price (Lowe than a ch-r) but it has some downsides so I'm not sure its worth it.
Concerned the speed display is on the left side of the centre screen. Will this be on the right for the UK market? Otherwise it will be too far to the left to see while driving.
Hi About one pedal drive- you would brake yourself. But was the one Pendel drive that bad? If you use one p drive- you won’t get that much brake dust and use it that much so you don’t have to change the brakes less often?
@@sunrisejak2709 I don’t know the numerical distinction, but a wagon clearly has more length behind the rear wheels than a hatchback, usually yielding at least another 10in of cargo length. Hatchbacks sometimes have a more tapered rear opening, like the Tesla model S. Most people think it’s a sedan but the rear door clearly makes it a hatchback in utility. The US version of the Mazda 6 during the early to mid 2000s offered three body styles, a sedan, hatchback and wagon, so you can clearly see the differences. The hatchback more closely resembled the sedan in side profile because of how sloped the rear hatch was and its overall length. The wagon variant was roughly a foot longer and its hatch was more upright.
Thank you for the review. I used to own the BMW i3, which was so much fun to drive. Driving experience, how does this car compare with the XC30 RWD version? Thanks in advance!
Great review Thomas. Do you think the EX30 has a better driving experience then the Zeekr X, or is there any Significant difference at all? Your reaction on the steering response of the Zeekr X was less optimistic to me...
12:10 leave the co2 alone. It’s just prevents you from accidentally open the rear windows, yoûre more likely to open the front ones and when you rarely open the rear ones, one additional second to selec the back button is no big deal
There is a fine line between minimalist and skeletal, I'm afraid this has crossed that line. Definitely would take the Zeekr X over this. X has greater functionality and a more luxurious interior.
Hi Thomas, the logic behind the digital key choice. Bluetooth as a solution is not secure enough, while Digital Keys using either NFC or UWB are more secure. UWB solution is also more expensive and only available on a handful of phones (iPhone 11 or later, but no iPhone SE).
An issue with the styling of the C pillar. I think the black should extend down to the base of the back side window and follow the upswept line of the window to connect with the top of the upper rear light.
Ok, I moved from a 2023 Ioniq 5 Limited (with the heads up display) to Tesla Model Y AWD Long Range, the speed location I find just fine on the Tesla, I was worried I would not like the central monitor display but it works for me.
Depends on how you define a "traditional hot hatch". To me, hot hatches like the OG VW GTI are based on cheap slow hatches, where they improved the handling a lot, but only improved the acceleration somewhat. MG4 XPower, looking at reviews, is a monster on acceleration, but has so much power it overwhelms its suspension. EX30 is probably better tuned so it has a better balance between both acceleration and handling. Although personally my pick might be the MG4 "Extended Range", which is still RWD, but has a more powerful 180 kW motor, and also has a larger battery to give it well above 300 mile WLTP range.
Had a C30 S-line?, old V40 diesel, new V40 and S60 R... Now, after 5 other brand cars, waiting forever for the EX30 CC to replace my 2019 Suzuki Jimny! Also I was for 16 years a mechanical engineer at Volvo Cars Ghent. Since I live on a subtropical Paradise island for the last 5 years with mostly dirt roads, can't wait to see 1 video tested in these conditions in sted of the 90% boring same reviews on the highways! Nit talking about you fyi, really enjoyed your different point of view 🎉 I looks like almost all negative points can be wiped away with updates! 😮
Agree, the recycled denim material is my favorite. I recently did work on my home and used recycled denim for the insulation inside of my walls. It is soft, treated to be fire proof, water proof and critter resistant. Love to see they are using so much recycled products. I am in the U.S. and already have my deposit on the dual motor option. Thank you for a great review.
First of all, congrats for another excellent video, you're really professional and I value your opinion on cars. Now, to jump on the subject at hand - what Volvo does wrong (as more and more manufacturers these days) is to minimize everything... The interior space is a joke, but let's say this is subjective to people height. Let me complain about the fact that there are less physical buttons in every car... I saw this on the new Tiguan as well - basically as a driver you can't control anything anymore, such as climate controls, everything needs to be done by a second person for safety reasons. Also, not having a normal screen behind the wheel means that I need to put all the trust in the car after I set let's say ACC and other functions from the wheel buttons I would usually want to see in front of my eyes and set them accordingly, with full visibility. I know, its cost-saving strategy, but a minimalistic car is NOT what people actually need... I much appreciate Hyundai as an example of company that still goes with lots of buttons and to be honest I would rather build muscle memory and know where to click instead of taking my eyes off the road to use the tablet... same stupidity for Tesla as well, but you understand what I'm saying. Last, but not least - the autonomy - in perfect conditions, sure you can drive 400km. But why would I pay 40k euros for a car just to drive it in the city in normal weather conditions? I cannot go for a long drive or in vacation without worrying about trunk space and having to charge every 3 hours or less... I don't want to know how the autonomy is impacted on hot summers or cold winters... This is clearly not a family car, I could give you another example of overpriced cars - Toyota CH-R - which is not even EV, only full hybrid. Ok, much better autonomy, but a heavy car, bulky build, lacks the comfort due to small interior space and trunk, but you pay 34k euros just because its Toyota's hybrid tech? I can't wait to see the Jetour T2 car presented on your channel, lets hope they will launch the plug-in hybrid version or at least a full hybrid so you can review it, if you may find it interesting enough for you and for the viewers.
The worst elements of the EX30 are all copied from Tesla. Digital key card instead of actual key Complex/distracting central table controls (very unVolvo) Panoramic frying roof that owners need to fix Too fast to be safe in the dual motor performance version Glovebox that opens from the tablet? (why, why why?) Lying about the actual range Setting up for BS autonomous driving Otherwise this should be a good car. Is it cheap because of Chinese production subsidies? Will the US version have to cost more because of our anti-Chinese tariff?
How good is the sound? I found that missing in this review. Or you weren't allowed to test yet. And how unconformable is to have the lights and wipers in the same lever? Is not confusing with the driving mode lever?
I just got my Polestar RWD - so happy! I love this little car, and considered waiting but it needs a dashboard with at least speed, range etc please Volvo!!
For me, electric drivetrain makes much more sense for city-cars, like this. Nice, that Volvo has kept some unique design features, but I can feel a strong (and unwanted) influence from Tesla, with its good and bad.
Glad you like the Indigo interior as many reviewers are rating it the worst of all 3. I ordered this in the twin ultra and was starting to question my choice 😅
Saggy steering feeling is definitely a deal breaker 😂 Joke aside, I would like to see Volvo keep renewing the car with OTA and bring more value to the car over the span of its life. Also for people buying used, they will get more value as they get more interesting features or FUNctionalities. Cheers!
I don't know, I heard some kind of squeaking noises while accelerating hard (during launch test), do you think that's a problem with the vehicle, maybe...? ;)
@22:50 Finally (!) a reviewer that actually drives this car in the twists. Everyone has driven this car like a grandma and pitifully not answered if this thing can handles. All of them buffoons. Thank you Thomas for comparing it to a hot hatch.

With no combustion engine absorbing collision energy a shorter hood makes it less safe.
Fantastic EV. Just a shame they don’t have a small screen in front of the steering wheel with key info such as the speed.
I wonder if all these driving settings (e.g. one pedal driving) remains set when close veihicle and come back?
After all, many old cars like Mini and Moggy1000 had a dreadful speedo lower down in the middle of the dash
missing dash display is a real dealbreaker
Yeah....I thought the same when the Model 3 came out....until I had one as a courtesy car over a weekend. Got used to it in 5 mins....not breaking any deals anymore. Also plenty of aftermarket displays...is easy because all info is in the CAN bus.
@@moestrei The anecdote is appreciated but personal experience varies. I would imagine that manufacturers will lose and have lost a potential demographic who find such cost-cutting measures non-negotiable.
Conversely, they would have found a much smaller population who dislike the inclusion of a dash had they chosen to include one.
To me, the traditional location of dash-display is too low. Prefer HUD and turn the higher location to the right.
If available in your market, get this Volvo's sister car the Zeekr X. It has a drivers screen AND an HUD. Lots of other cool features over the EX30 as well.
@@tren133 and no dealers
Thank you Thomas - the best insights and most detailed reviews.
The center window buttons also helps with cost on right hand drive. No need for a separate door card for the other door. The center controls work the same for RHD and LHD.
Interesting aspect
Yes. Immediately thought about that. I'm surprised Tesla hasn't done this.
So much to like about this car. However, no drivers display or heads up display is a dealbreaker.
Absolutely. I am sure they will change this with the facelift...
Fingers crossed!
For me the lack of any physical controls is the dealbreaker. Even a Nissan Versa has buttons for the power windows. In spite of the handsome looks, this whole vehicle is unforgivably cheap, not just for the asking price but for any basic modern standard of equipment or materials.
@@kayEnt3rtainm3nt the car has physical buttons for the windows, what are you talking about?
The benefit of having a yellow bottom in the console bin is to catch light so it is easier to see/find small items. The is a trick i have seen advertised for some luggage.
09:10 well done. Very nice fisplay of the screen. I really appreciate the work you put in for immaculate reviews! ❤
Well done for the review 👍🏻, few corrections at 1:28 the smallest (LFP) battery is 49 net or 51 kWh gross capacity, charging 134 kW (all as per Volvo Broscures)
It’s from catl ? And the big one is nmc I guess
The giggles from the codriver explains alot about the nature of this vehicle. 😂
great review , thanks. looking forward to seeing one of these in the metal to get a real sense of its size.
From 22 to 24 minutes: Precious considerations on the advice whether or not to buy the All Wheeles Drive version. Thank You very much 😃 It is a fundamental choice, both are very pleasant to drive. I think the best choice is to buy the performance and possibly deactivate the "4x4" In the uphill hairpin bends 😅
great review, thanks. getting mine in april, even more looking forward to it!
The yellow inserts in the middle console are there to give contrast so it is easier to see what you put there in the dark.
Grey Thomas in that grey car almost feels like some kind of green screen 🙂 Thanks for another great review!
thanks! Keep tuning in and recommend our channel :-)
There is a lot of people reviewing cars. BUT Thomas is the best in the world! 😀
Thanks so much my friend!!
Love the presentation as always. That 0-100 was way more than 3.6s. It was closer to 5s. the 1st run and 4.5s the 2nd one How so?
This thing is a rocket. EVs are stupid fast
Dangerously fast acceleration.
Accident rates are notably higher with high-acceleration capable vehicles, EV or ICE. Drivers quickly exceed their ability to control and safely drive the vehicle. Makes consequences of putting a foot on the wrong pedal more severe.
I don't know if you planned it but I love how your outfit matches the car!
Thanks for the detailed review and beautiful drive…
Does all models come with 360 degree camera from single motor entry level to the highest?
I am a subscriber and have watched many of your videos because I feel you explain the technical aspects of cars better than many reviewers. The time has come to spec my EX30 and I have a question about seat materials. As you explained your first and second choices you didn't mention breathability. Do you think there is any difference between the denim and nordico in breathability? I live in Texas, so am concerned with hot weather comfort and yes, I plan to get the cover for the glass roof. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
thanks so much!
Well it actually doenst differ that much, since the back part of the seats are both breathable fabric, just the seating bottom is leatherette each. So the back part will be more ventilated than the bottom part, but it wont matter which choice you pick, more a color thing.
Very useful review! Thank you!
Is the test version the free color? Really pleasant for me
The material used in the EX30 dashboard with the recycled window frame parts is likely a better choice than having it covered by the denim fabric fibers or the flax as it is likely less prone to staining when drinks or food items are placed on it. Even oily or dirty hands. As it looks like a narrow shelf it may be used as one.
*Looks at the camera* "I prefer the firm setting" *smirks* LMAO
This car REALLY needs a HUD and physical buttons. Tesla gets away with it because their screen is bigger and in "landscape"/horizontal format and their menus/UI are somewhat intuitive.
The UI on the EX30 is definitely not.
I am surprised at how many extra features the Smart #1 includes at the same price point. HUD, electric panoramic sunshade, etc. etc.
Geely is clearly pushing their other brands to be more "bang for the buck". Same with the Zeekr X. You pay for the Volvo badge
INSANELY FAST
but ....... there should have been an option for a heads-up display !!!!
Cheers!
Great review. Thanks for getting out the tape measure in the boot. Did you happen to take any horizontal measurements in the rear seat (back of front seat to rear seat cushion) and similar measurement from front seat from seat cushion to dash (passenger side)?
Why can't they make normal keys instead of all this fuss with an app or a credit card format? Any means to buy an after market key fob?
Like the speedo location. Pine is my favorite interior.
7:13 Volvo implemented a protective mechanism that makes driving impossible for T-Rexes, truly always one step ahead in road safety!
Here’s what would be nice - push button on the wheel, it announces speed, maybe a few times, or as you continue pressing…
Just put the adaptive cruise on if your concerned about exceeding the speed.

Hi
About one pedal drive- you would brake yourself. But was the one Pendel drive that bad? If you use one p drive- you won’t get that much brake dust and use it that much so you don’t have to change the brakes less often?
I love the practicality of a hatchback. Even better than station wagons. The Audi A7 is a great grocery getter.
What is the practical difference between a hatchback or a wagon/estate? Seems same to me. 🤷
Length of cargo area.
@@chow-chihuang4903 I the rear seats are folded again how is each type defined? Are hatchback shorter than wagons when the seats are folded?
@@chow-chihuang4903 Got it. Thanks,,,,
Is no thigh support a big trouble?
Thank you for the review. I used to own the BMW i3, which was so much fun to drive. Driving experience, how does this car compare with the XC30 RWD version? Thanks in advance!
Very unusual setting, without the driver display!!! I also think they took the cost saving way too far, as compared to rivals!!!
Isn’t ultra Wideband more secure than NFC, which is more secure than Bluetooth?
you sir are like the most quietest talking German I've ever heard.
I like it firm 😉😉
There is a fine line between minimalist and skeletal, I'm afraid this has crossed that line.
Definitely would take the Zeekr X over this. X has greater functionality and a more luxurious interior.
When inside the car, and you want to close the door, where do you grab..?
Ordered my car today Ultra Twin MY25, I won't get it until next year so hopefully most software bugs are gone by then!
Great review as always. One small note for the smaller battery is 49kw and not 41kw as you mentioned.
Thomas, what would you say is more of a traditional hot hatch? MG4 XPower or EX30 performance? Great video, like always.
Thanks!
Yes I d say so
Depends on how you define a "traditional hot hatch".

I guest having no driver display was a great marketing move for Tesla model 3. But ofcourse it's better and comfotable to have it.
Volvo just announced that this will be made in Ghent, Belgium in addition to their facility in China because of the large demand.
👍👍
I wish Volvo would’ve announced an EX60 instead of the 90 alongside this one. So many great things about it but it’s kinda small
I can't wait to see the Jetour T2 car presented on your channel, lets hope they will launch the plug-in hybrid version or at least a full hybrid so you can review it, if you may find it interesting enough for you and for the viewers.
thanks m8 !
totally agree to your observation

Great review. Your detailed reviews of the user interface are the best.
Looked very seriously at this, ruled it out because of rear legroom, impractical to take passengers on anything but the shortest drive
I look at it as a 2+2 ... ideal for just me and the wife as kids all gone and now have grandchildren & great grandchild
Same. It's a small car, smaller than most believe I think. I'm not a fan of the interior either, looks a little cheap to me.
I don’t know why they didn’t add 7 cm to the rear. It’s a bit useless for anyone but children
I also considered this but think it can only really be useful as a secondary car rather than primary. A family version of a run around
@@milesyounghamilton or excellent for an aged couple 😁
The worst elements of the EX30 are all copied from Tesla.
Digital key card instead of actual key
Complex/distracting central table controls (very unVolvo)
Panoramic frying roof that owners need to fix
Too fast to be safe in the dual motor performance version
Glovebox that opens from the tablet? (why, why why?)
Lying about the actual range
Setting up for BS autonomous driving
Otherwise this should be a good car.
Great review but no driver's display is not something I'd even consider
I just got my Polestar RWD - so happy! I love this little car, and considered waiting but it needs a dashboard with at least speed, range etc please Volvo!!
How was the road and wind noise compared to the XC40 Recharge?
Did they say anything about ex90? Heard that they are also inviting to barcelona but guess the Dealers are different ;-)
For me, electric drivetrain makes much more sense for city-cars, like this. Nice, that Volvo has kept some unique design features, but I can feel a strong (and unwanted) influence from Tesla, with its good and bad.
but it looking so much better than Tesla. I found Tesla cars are ugly AF,.
Glad you like the Indigo interior as many reviewers are rating it the worst of all 3. I ordered this in the twin ultra and was starting to question my choice 😅
Saggy steering feeling is definitely a deal breaker 😂
Joke aside, I would like to see Volvo keep renewing the car with OTA and bring more value to the car over the span of its life.
Also for people buying used, they will get more value as they get more interesting features or FUNctionalities.
Cheers!
I don't know, I heard some kind of squeaking noises while accelerating hard (during launch test), do you think that's a problem with the vehicle, maybe...?
