Hey everyone! Thank you for watching and supporting!
Really quick disclaimer, my mic went out during the review and I didn’t realize the drop in sound quality until after uploading to YT. I’m still pretty new to YT and am learning and growing along the way. Thank you for sticking with me, a lot of awesome things in the works for Legends & Dice Cafe!
:D I once did a stream for 20 minutes before realising my audio was muted. :D And I've recorded loads of bits and pieces and forgotten to turn the sound on.
@DungeonSlime lol wow I appreciate you sharing that!!’ I was initially kicking my self in the butt 🥴. I had to remember mistakes will happen. As long as I’m learning and lol applying what I’m learning, it will be okay.
Your channel is perfect for me. Easy to follow, but super informative. I look forward to each week. Thanks again!
That’s so awesome to hear!!! It means a lot ☺️. Thank you so much for the kind words & support ☺️!!!!!
Tashas is right there with Xanathars, getting tons of usage, a favorite!
Just started DMing & so far I’ve been using Xanathar for its downtime & tables but I like Tasha’s too.
Good overview =)
Terrible sound =(
'Tasha’s Cauldron Of Everything' is a useful book.
I look forward to your overview of 'Xanathar's Guide to Everything' next time. It is also a useful book. I particularly like Chapter 2, the Dungeon Master's Tools. There are lots of useful things in it =)
I appreciate that ☺️. My mic 🎤 was working against me this time 🥴. I may take this one down and redo it. Xanathars guide has even more Dungeon master tools 🧰, you’ll see 😁.
@@LegendsDiceCafe nah, leave it up and just move on, as they say, just work on one new thing for each new video. What are you using to record (software/hardware)? You could be peeking, definitely got some plosives (the "P" and "B" breaths). There is a bit of sibilance ("sss" sounds). Those are just things we all deal with though in everyday speaking.
It does sound like you have some "big room" sound going on, not much in the way of echo or bouncing sound, but a little anyway. Luckily there are post-production things you can use to adjust these sounds. Know anybody that works with sound? If you do ask them about these and they can give you some "sound" advice.
@stochasticagency thank you for the advice ☺️. My mic died when I got to the actual book part/review 🥴. I attempted to continue forward but now I know lol not to do that again.
Definitely another "must have" in my 5E book collection even though I have not utilised it as much as I have Xanathar's Guide yet, but still very glad that I have it. 🥰 --- Another book that I love is "Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse", which I specifically bought for the accumulated collection of 30+ non-PHB character race options gathered together in one place from so many of 5E's various books across the years. 🥰
Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse is on my list to get 😃. I haven’t used Tasha’s much like I have Xanathar as well. So far I’ve mainly used Xanathar’s for the player options. I’m curious about the New monster manual with One DnD 🤔. I’ve just started putting my MM to use since I’m DMing now which is super cool 😎.
I personally thought most of the book was next to useless, My personal groups were doing most of the player flavor stuff already and didn't need rules to do so. But that's just my opinion. Enjoyed the review though
I can understand that. I don’t lol see myself picking it up anytime soon for anything. I am enjoying Xanathars Guide though. Thank you ☺️!!!!!!
