Thank you Chris for taking me on your tour of the Cemetery. My family and I visited Egypt a few years ago, but were unable to visit the cemetery because it was very inhabited by the homeless. Egypt is really a beautiful country to visit. I will surely follow you on this journey. Thanks again, and be safe. Frank is a gem.

Very old ways they follow, mainly cultural.
Muslims now should have simple graves (a pile of mud, small name stone).
The one thing we all have in common death.
Also Muslims are given some details about what happens following the removal of the soul.
Inshallah you are given some good education on Islam and the sunnah and your good heart is open to it and accepts it (shahada)
Also we say when remembering death…. From him we came and to him we return.

I've been there too. I know the social problems: many young men (there is an overpopulation) without work, no work no money no women no marriage and no perspective this leads to frustration But this is a inner egyptian problem. I have observed several westerners complainig about the poverty and taking photos everywhere while they doing laundry etc. They behave like colonial masters.@@ChrisMustList
