Only one word,,,,,,,, Beautiful ❤️ Now being an automatic trans,, Ford had the C4 behind the 289, but the racing automatic was FMX super heavy duty manual shift available.
I drive a BMW 420 manufactured in 2020. I would sell the car and my soul to own a Mustang. Sad that I live in Russia and in love with American vehicles. I feel like Romeo and my desire is a Mustang, instead of Julieta - I wish and I will never obtain 😂😂
Love that sound !!!!! Cragar Trims are the best for that style of car ...a manual 4 gearbox or a 4automatic swap should be great !! Thanks for the vid...
What an absolute beauty. I have the modern equivalent in all aspects color etc. I see all the inspiration that mine takes from that car. BUT are you brain dead driving that car in rain. No sir. That shouldn't happen. That thing was so clean....
almost bought. one in 1978 but it was a worn out Bondo bucket. that if you spun the tires would have gutted itself . . almost fell apart on the test drive . .
I have a 66 Mustang with the same engine as this one. They ARE old cars, there's no getting away from that, and they were not built that well in the first place. They are thirsty, the steering is slow and vague, they roll like a boat in the corners, they aren't particularly comfortable, the brakes are feeble, the automatic gearboxes are slushy as hell, and if you have a proper crash, you'll be killed. That said, they are plenty fast enough to keep up with modern cars though, the sound is fantastic, and when you cruise down the street, you're instantly the coolest car on the road. You can modify them of course to drive more like a modern car, but it's not cheap. So to answer your question, they are fun to drive, AND they feel old, because they are.
@@Scrubworks is it possible to add the electronic stuff like ABS AEB ESP... and Airbags ?? how much does the car (stock) cost ? just curious about the price :)
@@ye-1723 Do you really need anything more than ABS and airbags? Maybe a toggleable traction control but do you need more than that? It's an old Mustang
@@8k-alex753 I just bought a 67 289 yesterday 🤣🙏my first old school. It just needs a few things to be a safe daily. Engine and Transmission freshly rebuilt and it does run
my dream car. Back then, the cars were much better ...
What a gorgeous car, and it's clearly well maintained! It started up better than my 2003 Lancer does lol.
Hell it starts better than my 2013 mustang lol
That fine ride starts up better than my 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero 😂
I built this car, my 4th 67/68 Mustang fastback. Very proud of how she turned out.
Really? You literally built this? That’s incredibly impressive. Such a beautiful thing. ❤

Don't blame you, muscle cars are by far the most fun to drive too, rough and rowdy and sound way better than normal sports cars.
That sound😍
Awesome car and sound❤️❤️❤️❤️

Designers back in the 60s and 70s knew EXACTLY what they were doing

Bro, this is England, which city?
I love old classic car. I feel like high class lol 😂
I'm surprised how many early Mustangs there are in the UK. This car was never sold by Ford UK when new. Makes me wonder how they get into the country.
great car...great video!
grandiosa
That thing is nice! What's your setup? (exhaust, cam, etc.)

What’s it like driving a LHD Mustang in the UK
Нихуя себе, машина 68 года, да еще и на автомате, а какой рёв мотора, какой живой салон и кузов сохранившиеся, просто Вааау!
Epic. I`ll give you my address and you can bring it straight round (I wish). lol
ну и узенькие у вас там дороги) а звук у машины - космос))
awesome
First it's very Nice car
Hi-Po or usual 289?
GEM
What mufflers does this have?
If you see this comment then please answer this! Is it actually fun driving a 67-68 Mustang fastback or does it feel just like an old car?

Is this the same mustang type on "Bullit" movie?
Yes, same shape!

Yes, we are based in Yorkshire :)
Real life Forza Horizon 4
These cars for sale?
Yes! This one is now sold unfortunately :)
Narrowest roads I’ve ever seen hahah.. Nice car tho
Welcome to England haha!
Why is he driving on wrong side of the road?
Your on the wrong side of the road
Nice but automatic, whyyyyy
Cos Americans are lazy and back in the day auto was the expensive high tech option so most higher end cars like these got optioned with automatic
First
I know this is a classic legendary car but why is it 1 fucking million in uae
It 's very very lol
You're driving on the wrong side of the road
Too bad it is an automatic.
Why? 90% of Mustangs from the 60's/70's where auto (this was the norm)
It's actually a manual that's rare this time.
@@xMandalorex He didn't say it was "rare".
Tbh man idc if it’s A Automatic i would be glad that I would even have one to begin with
This car only needs 3 gears so this is not really the car you want if you looking for manual sportcar
