Thank you! I've been wanting to upgrade my 2009 to an offline Navigation/digital entertainment system similar to yours. My concern is the tiny rear camera monitor in the rear view mirror connections. Would be nice to actually have a usable backup camera for a change.
@Havenscythe You need the maestro adapter, then the steering wheel buttons work. Look for stereos for your year of FJ on crutchfield, will recommend proper maestro box.
I really wish you guys included some kind of manual explaining all the harness connections.... nothing mentioned about forward or reverse cameras, amp connections, or the "extra" stuff you shipo your head unit with absolutely no explanateion. I want to like this hea dunit but the lack of any kind of written instructions is ridiculous.
My dad has a 2007 FJ cruiser and I want to customize it and rebuild it since it might kick the bucket so I'm trying to keep it alive so respond to this please and help me with it like tutorials please
It's great, I bought one years ago and it's one of the best FJ mods I've done. I've done a few reviews on my head unit, which you can see on my channel, starting with this one: ruclips.net/video/78b5hhhnrmg/видео.htmlfeature=shared
The mic next to the window suck with air noise…. Best place is on top of steering column. I have life time Xm Sirius radio, so the area he put the antenna is not that great.
thanks for the video. it helped a lot.

Do you have the frame in yellow? Kinda wanna keep the frame in yellow
The real question is this unit utilize the steering wheel controls still
...and of course, unanswered.
The wheel controls do nothing after this is installed

@@haxsysActually yeah they do work, you just need to assign the buttons functionality in the android radios settings.
Time for a new wheel lol
Does it support SiriusXM?
Where does this car play made in?
