The one thing I dislike about this clip is they took out the part where Mr. Drummond was about to physically fight with Mr. Tanner. That clip was extremely powerful since Mr. Drummond was not going to take any type of prejudice, especially against his own child. Can't believe they left that clip out.

Yes. Kids aren´t born certain ways. For instance, I remember watching the religious movies when Christ was being hurt carrying the cross and I felt this so much anger because I couldn´t understand why anyone would do that to any person. I think I was either 3 or 4.
I thought about this episode when I heard about the passing of Mr. Dabney Coleman. Even though he played bad people, he was a great actor. RIP Mr. Coleman.

Dabney played rare good guys in On Golden Pond, Cloak and Dagger, and You've Got Mail. But his villainous roles outshine those performances! (Nine to Five, Tootsie, WarGames)
The little girl and Arnold are just having fun as kids horsing around having fun with no thought of color on their minds, when Willis broke the news to the little girl that her dad didn't want Arnold to be his roommate at the hospital because he's black she looked totally crushed 😪.Its just evident that children do not see color and they're not racist by nature, its a learned and carried on behavior carried on by the adults,if only people can learn from innocent children about what it means to unconditionally love and accept somebody just imagine how this world could be.

There are those who understand the ramifications of an integrated society. Especially with children. At the end of this clip it made me feel like the little girls father was right in his actions to avoid the unnecessary drama. His daughter was there to get well. The look on the little girl. She looked more hurt than Arnold.
Agreed. But Arnold's "this is serious" sad face hits you like a ton of bricks.
