It took up a fair amount of time I have to say 😂 Wouldn’t take it back though, genuinely super happy I have it, definitely up there in my top 10, possibly even top 5
I have played The Witcher 3 for about 200 hours. The hardest bosses for me was when Ciri is fighting the Crones. At the time I was probably around level 80 and playing New Game +. Took me about 2 hours to complete the mission because i got one tapped everytime, Imlerith and Eredin was a piece of cake comparing it with the crones. I feel like Ciri doesnt scale in the same rate as the bosses do and thats why it was so hard. Also the two DLCs are amazing! There is a boss in heart of stone that one tapped me through my quen and with almost the best Cat armor. Same with a boss on the Blood and Wine DLC.
I felt the same way but the fight isn’t really difficult just tedious you have to get a swing in the run make sure you dodge every second and rinse repeat it’s so boring makes the fight so un-enjoyable
Great video Watson! Easily one of my favourite games of all time...spent about 230 hours getting the platinum and 100% all on Death March when I played it some years ago. The story, side quests and dlcs are unmatched in quality.
Thank you mate and glad you enjoyed! 100% agree with you, I don’t think I can name a game with amount and care and detail that was put into all parts of it as the Witcher 3 was. You can tell the developers loved what they were working on
Witcher 3 is easily one of my top 3 games. I can't even count how many times I've played through the game😅. I loved going for the plat and all the dlc trophies. Great vid!
witcher 3 actually started my passion for achievement hunting back in december of 2019. i used an optimized guide for it and it still took me like 90 hours. but i enjoyed it alot. even if it was my second time playing it. since then i finished quite a few games with all achievements and i'm currently sitting on 63 perfect games on steam and i really enjoyed the video. good stuff :)
You know a game has a tremendous amount to offer when even optimised guides can lead to almost 100 hours to 100%. Congrats on the 63 perfect games though! Not too long and you’ll be at 100!
@@WatsonKHD that's very true :D and maybe i can one day even bring myself to play and 100% cyberpunk since i already bought the game with it's dlc and stopped playing after 4 hours because the setting wasn't my thing. thanks for the congrats tho :3 i hope you reach your 50k subs goal until the end of the year :)
As the game that I have the most hours into by far for single player games (800 or so hours), The Witcher 3 has been my favorite for a long while. Even years later, I can jump into it and enjoy myself. It’s one of those games I wish I could forget just so I could experience it for the first time again, love to see it get the appreciation it deserves. I’ll be honest, I try not to get too hyped for game sequels with how common disappointments have been in the past, but I absolutely look forward to TW4 and expect it to stand up to the greatness that TW3 was. I really hope CDPR does the name justice.
I got the platinum a couple years back, but I remember getting the game and putting over 800hrs into it before trying to get the platinum. This game is 10/10 masterpiece for me.
100% agree, it truly does deliver! Actually felt like I cared about all of the characters and their outcomes. Be it good or bad, tried my hardest to give everyone a good ending. Except Triss, she obviously never got back with me. I did feel bad but Yen is Geralts true love
Now it's time to move on to the next level. First-person with no lock-on or slow-motion cheese, No HUD, no GPS, no fast-travel. And if you really want to spice it up, retire Roach and only use horses you find in the world. I finished on Deathmarch this way with the first-person mod. Though I do think a 100% run would be quite impossible this way without vigorously save-scumming. No way I'll ever 100% because I refuse to simp for Yen anymore.
@4:10 Pretty sure that fight was nerfed in the patches. The ghouls used to one shot you in Death March, now you can just tank them. Pretty sure they rebalanced Death March all around
Oh yeah boy! I love witcher 3, I got all achievements (xbox) on both stacks, normal and game of the year. Do i regret it? No, it's absolutely amazing, gotta say death march is finely balanced imo. Since you can die quick, yet you can use all you got to somewhat easily beat your enemies ❤ And also about gwent, I loved it hahaha played every time i could 😂
Aye nice one mate! Can imagine the amount of time that took! And yeah totally agree, Death March is very well balanced, as long as you’re utilising what’s given to you, it can make a lot of what might seem nigh on impossible, a hell of a lot easier. I enjoyed Gwent as well! Only time I didn’t was when I was worrying about missing one of the missable cards 😂
@@WatsonKHD the main issue i had with gwent was simply playing it for no reason besides.. Well, playing it 😭🤣reaching a new area, first stop, tavern and gwent lmao. I feel death march is a difficulty done right. No unnecessary BS, straight forward. Easy to adept. I used the shield mostly and it helped alot xD.
Iv done this twice now on xbox, the normal edition and the complete edition have separate achievement lists so I bought it on deal and did it again... now having got all achievements twice i dont know what to do with life and might play the sims 4 till the end of my days
Can’t name all the cards unfortunately but it was a northern realms deck. Some really good decks people have put out on RUclips though mate deffo suggest checking some of them out 👍
The Witcher 3 platinum isn't that bad I get it with nearly with every DLCs trophies in nearly 150 hour and I really enjoyed it I got all of the Witcher gears with Grandmaster upgrade And the death march difficulty isn't that bad
I’ve actually had Cyberpunk completed for a while. Recorded the whole thing it’s just been sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to make a video with it 😂 I’ll get around to doing it shortly. Need to clear the over 100GB it’s taking up
I'm sorry but do people actually consider death march difficult because the only place I could say I actually kind of struggled was the witches and the final boss and my first playthrough was on death march or is that just me.
It took me 80 hours to get the platinum 1 playthrough so I am usually surprised when people go over 100 hours for the plat, just started blood and wine after not playing for a few months
On of the best RPG? Dude. Don't mix interactive movie with a really good RPG game. Mechanics like fight are simple and boring. RPG system can dissapear and you wouldn't see that much difference. Der Hexer is a 5,5/10 and story is not going to save this game from being dull. Play real RPG like Polish Gothic game and then you'll understand what is a really good game.
This might be your best video yet. Between Platting the game, scipting, and constructing the video...well done mate!
I honestly really appreciate that mate! 🙂Trying to slowly but surely improve!
You reached deep in the trenches for this one. (Not saying the game is bad but that's a large commitment for a platinum.)

I just finished this game for the first time the other day and I put 160 hours into it. the game has quickly become my favourite game of all time
Ayye congrats man! Nothing like going through it your first time!
I have 100% for this game on PC, XBox, Ps4 and Ps5 lol and I don’t regret a second
Damn four different systems 👀 That’s actually a massive accomplishment mate, well done!
but do you have the platinum 3 times on PS? sorry to gloat
You need help

Ayyy looking forward to this - watching you fight that noonwraith during the intro was painful though lmao
Wasn’t my best performance I must admit 🤦♂️😂
I appreciate u for including Getalt's sad scene of finding Ciri 👏🏼

Always nice to see someone going for the 100%, I gave up a few times lol
can fully understand why mate, it’s a massive commitment but should definitely give it another go
a whole hour of pure witcher content. my day has been blessed
This was amazing. I can't wait for the DLCs!!!!
15:24 that looks like Michael Cera
was just about to comment that too😭
Its taken me since the ps5 update came out to get this platinum! I just got it last week
Nice job on the plat mate! How did you find it? Hope you loved it as much as I did
Congrats On the Platinum and the 100%!
Thank you mate!
not really 100% yet cuz he still missing 2 dlcs

The only thing that disappointed me about this game is that you can't do more than 1 new game plus
Fun fact: this game is inspired by slavic legends
TW3 is the best game of all time.

Platinum reading the books
I am a 13 year old and I still Platinumed this game so anyone who thinks its hard don't worry!
You should try and platinum elder scrolls 4 oblivion
I have the 100% with all the dlc achievements on xbox took 256 hours lol
