Nothing grows in our back yard. We think it's because it's full of rocks and sand. The trees we planted eventually all died. It's mentioned in the video the kind of soil required is the kind that will hold water. But isn't too much water a problem? We also think there's not enough drainage and the roots could be rotting. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Fixing sandy soil should be easier than fixing heavy Clay. By ammanding adequate manures + rice cell + dolomite as magnesium source and if that's still not enough you can add super absorbent polymer (such as Potassium polyacrylate based SAP) it will help to retain water qnd release it overtime
