  • When a group of master woodworkers gets together, you quickly find out who they admire. Charles Brock kept hearing about Scott Dewaard. When the two finally met up at the Master’s Show in Knoxville, TN - Charles immediately knew why he is held in high esteem by his colleagues. From his hay bale shop to his impressive use of laminating stock you are going to enjoy visiting with Scott in our Moment with a Master. Scott will also teach us how to build a single-purpose crosscut sled that is not only accurate but easy to construct.
If you have tried to level a rocking stool, you know that a winning strategy is necessary for success. Chris Fitch shows us how in Popular Woodworking Magazine’s Tips, Tricks and Techniques.
Our Tool Box segment features the newest updated non-slip parallel bar clamps available. We’ll show you how their features can benefit your next woodworking project.

Great episode! Thank you for making these, you have me as a customer now. That sled building tutorial was fantastic - best one I have seen. Beautiful work from Scott.

I so look forward to each episode. I’m a Tennessee native, living in “exile” in Louisiana for almost 40 years. I hope to someday do a driving tour of Woodworking shops in West and Middle Tennessee (maybe a bit into East Tennessee). I would love a list of suggested shops for a beginning and not very accomplished woodworker. Thank you again for your show.

I hope it is apparent to relatively inexperienced woodworkers that Highland (Hardware) sells quality stuff. After viewing a recent episode I thought about purchases made thirty or forty years ago that are still entirely reliable. I especially suggest buying a single first-rate cutting tool rather than a boxed set of cheapo junk for the same money.
