Cross watcher here and this is my situation to a T with a Capricorn. Was seeing him for over a year but he would disappear for periods at a time but keep on coming back, wouldn't commit fully and played it off as healing from an ex but I found out they were still seeing each other and had in fact been on and off for years. He spoke about her often when we were together and I even said to him a few times if there was love still there he should try and work things out with her! He was adamant that it was over though, although he doesn't seem to be able to let her/it go for whatever reason and from what I hear (we have mutual friends) she is much the same but they continue with this on/off pattern, seeing other people in between when things go sour then getting back together. I got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore so I walked away. I actually drove past him one day and she was in the car with him. I don't understand how people can do that, either make a conscious effort to make it work or separate, don't involve other people who end up as collateral damage.
He was in total denial. Said he was never going back, yet he often prioritised and was still married after 8 years of separation and 6 year relationship (with several breaks), with me. He prioritised her one too many times for my liking their kids are men now, yet she uses them to get her way.

OMG - Such similar stories as mine from a Cancerian crosswatcher. Mine was seperated since 2016 ( if I can believe him now looking back in hindsight). An old friend came back and I was/ am very comfortable with him. I am however no longer where I used to be mentally. We can remain friends. That is fine. How are you THIS accurate?! 6 month on/off with a Gemini. I fell fast and deep. After we broke up for good he admitted to me he had been secretly in love with his ex wife the WHOLE time. I never stood a chance, he simply wasted my time and put me through a heartbroken rollercoaster for nothing.

Why wouldn't someone your not in a relationship with just tell you they are talking to someone else. He swears he's not.
