    Big fan of the Minolta MD/MC lenses. Lots of gems to be found and pricing hasn't inflated as much as FD, Contax Zeiss, Nikkor, etc.
    Fully agree about using vintage on m4/3. For a few years I tried to use them as my primary lenses, just as a budgetary thing. Didn't really turn out like I'd hoped... you don't want every shot to be "unique", and you certainly need AF and OIS a lot of the time. Vintage glass is a condiment, not the main dish.

    Listen Nigel, here is the thing: Lenses are the most important tool in a cinematographer's arsenal. Lenses have an impact on the colour, black levels highlights, depth and even skin tones of your subject. This is very important. Do NOT underestimate the power of a lens. Vintage lenses are often uncorrected which adds a dimensionality to your image as opposed to flat, sharp and boring stills lenses.
