A blue screen error, also known as the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), can occur for a variety of reasons, not just an SSD malfunction. Let me help you narrow down the possible causes: 1. Common Causes of Blue Screen Errors • Hardware Issues: • Malfunctioning SSD: If the SSD has bad sectors, corrupted firmware, or is nearing the end of its lifespan, it can cause BSODs. This is especially likely if you notice frequent crashes during disk-intensive tasks. • RAM Problems: Faulty RAM modules or incorrect configurations can also lead to blue screens. • Overheating: If your laptop overheats due to dust buildup or a malfunctioning cooling system, it might crash. • Motherboard or Power Supply Issues: Hardware connections, power irregularities, or an aging motherboard can contribute. • Software Issues: • Driver Problems: Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause crashes. This is common with GPU drivers, chipset drivers, or SSD-related drivers. • Operating System Corruption: Corrupt system files or incomplete updates can lead to instability. • Malware or Viruses: Certain malicious software can crash the system. • Third-Party Software: Misbehaving applications can cause conflicts with system processes. 2. How to Check if SSD is the Culprit To determine if the SSD is the problem, follow these steps: a. Run Disk Diagnostics • Use tools like CrystalDiskInfo or the built-in Windows CHKDSK command: 1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. 2. Run: chkdsk C: /f /r 3. Follow the prompts to restart your computer for the scan. b. Check SSD Health • Use SSD manufacturer-specific utilities (e.g., Samsung Magician for Samsung SSDs) to assess its health. c. Look for Event Viewer Logs 1. Open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc). 2. Check the System Logs for critical events related to storage or disk errors around the time of the crashes. d. Observe Patterns • If crashes happen during file transfers, booting, or waking up from sleep, it might point to the SSD. 3. Troubleshooting Other Components • RAM: Use tools like Memtest86 to check for faulty RAM. • Drivers: Update all drivers, especially for the SSD, chipset, and GPU. • OS Issues: Use sfc /scannow and DISM to repair system files: 1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. 2. Run: sfc /scannow 3. Then run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth 4. Next Steps • If the SSD is faulty: Replace it with a new one. Ensure you back up your data before doing so. • If another component is at fault: Identify and replace/repair it. Sometimes, visiting a technician is necessary for complex hardware issues. 5. Preventive Actions • Keep your drivers and OS updated. • Avoid sudden power-offs and ensure good ventilation for the laptop. • Perform regular backups to avoid data loss.
i fixed it easily once and it has never happened again... i simply downloaded ubuntu iso to a usb stick and demolished windows from my existence. worked like a charm
I'm encountering errors during this process. I'm following the instructions and upon typing the command bootrec /RebuildBcd , the system telling me that the scan was successful and found 0 installations. Then at sfc /sscannow the scan runs, verification is 100% but telling me "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation" the bootsect /nt60 sys telling me Bootcode was successfully updated on al tergeted volumes chkdsk cannot find any errors, but as far as I can tell going through these steps always runs into some issues. I'd rather not lose all the data on the windows install along with all the settings and configurations for various applications on the m.2 drive. Do you have any suggestions?
Its been 10 days since I am trying to fix it. If nothing works for you, first install a new windows and then just bring your pc to a technician and tell him to open it and clean the ram with rubber. Also clean the ssd and use air blower to clean all the dust. It worked for me.

@@AbhishekKumar-nn9ck yeah I solved it. This should also work for you if your problem is on an HP computer. In the advanced startup, go to HP Recovery (don't remember the exact name), plug a high storage capacity USB in (SD won't work), use the backup tool to compile and copy the files onto the USB, then use the factory reset tool. Once reset, restore the backup files from the USB to the rebooted computer (you'll need to reinstall programs, even though the files are still there).

• If crashes happen during file transfers, booting, or waking up from sleep, it might point to the SSD.
3. Troubleshooting Other Components
• RAM: Use tools like Memtest86 to check for faulty RAM.
• Drivers: Update all drivers, especially for the SSD, chipset, and GPU.
• OS Issues: Use sfc /scannow and DISM to repair system files:
1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
2. Run: sfc /scannow
3. Then run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
4. Next Steps
• If the SSD is faulty: Replace it with a new one. Ensure you back up your data before doing so.
• If another component is at fault: Identify and replace/repair it. Sometimes, visiting a technician is necessary for complex hardware issues.
5. Preventive Actions
• Keep your drivers and OS updated.
• Avoid sudden power-offs and ensure good ventilation for the laptop.
• Perform regular backups to avoid data loss.
I hope no bluescreen anymore😥

i fixed it easily once and it has never happened again... i simply downloaded ubuntu iso to a usb stick and demolished windows from my existence. worked like a charm

Thank you so much, my Indian friend! Problem wasn't resolved, but at least i felt myself as IT specialist when i was typing code.
1:12 I power off my laptop, but I'm unable to restart it again
I'm encountering errors during this process.
I'm following the instructions and upon typing the command bootrec /RebuildBcd , the system telling me that the scan was successful and found 0 installations.
Then at sfc /sscannow
the scan runs, verification is 100% but telling me "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation"
the bootsect /nt60 sys telling me Bootcode was successfully updated on al tergeted volumes
chkdsk cannot find any errors, but as far as I can tell going through these steps always runs into some issues.
I'd rather not lose all the data on the windows install along with all the settings and configurations for various applications on the m.2 drive.
Do you have any suggestions?
I have the same problem, unfortunetly I think our drive are fully broken now...
Sadly, I think system32 has been deleted.
I have to same issue did you guys find anything?
Its been 10 days since I am trying to fix it. If nothing works for you, first install a new windows and then just bring your pc to a technician and tell him to open it and clean the ram with rubber. Also clean the ssd and use air blower to clean all the dust. It worked for me.
My laptop keeps having blue screen while in boot, I followed your instructions but the time I forced shut down for the third time, the screen shows "preparing automatic repair" instead of showing the advanced option. It stays like that for more than 15mins and nothing happened. What am I gonna do with this?
Dude... Same problem... 😭
@@omni_negator I tried it again today and it actually work. I already performed the whole instructions in this video. However, after closing the command prompt, it shows black screen with the courser for a long time. I am already late for work that's wwhy I have no choice but to force shut down my laptop and try again later. Does this damage my laptop?

@@Earthmate-Christianus I don't think it has a solution. I fixed it by taking my laptop to a computer repair service, i think that's the only solution for it.
What a life saver. Saved me tons of money. I was about to go to the shop to get it fixed. Glad I found this vid! Thanks a lot!

Tried it but didn't work, thanks anyway.
Did you able to solve... Hey i am also stucked at same place...
Please let me know, if you solved it. How did you solved?
@@AbhishekKumar-nn9ck yeah I solved it. This should also work for you if your problem is on an HP computer. In the advanced startup, go to HP Recovery (don't remember the exact name), plug a high storage capacity USB in (SD won't work), use the backup tool to compile and copy the files onto the USB, then use the factory reset tool.
Once reset, restore the backup files from the USB to the rebooted computer (you'll need to reinstall programs, even though the files are still there).
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I know the answer , when you use pc it's get heatup and you have to know where its heatup the most . you have to put hand there if its not getting cool then you have to clean the dust . just blow with your mouth more then 10 times no need to open pc it will work 100% .
