The Nike Gato series has been around for a while now and has always been extremely popular. The last model we got from Nike was the Lunar Gato 2, which at one point was discontinued, but then brought back due to there being so much demand! It's now 2020, and we finally have a new Gato model, the Nike React Gato.

Regarding the first Nike shoes that featured plastic toe striking elements, I recall the Zoom T-5 Indoor/FS shoes having a harder toe (maybe plastic?) with a dedicated toe-poke function. It even had a toe "bullseye" on them. It protected my toes a bit when I played small ball and toe struck with them.
My fav is the Elastico finale II!! The best boot ever made! no structure at all, but lightweight, comfort and barefoot feel is totally worth it.

Mercurial superfly 6 club ic vs adidas predator 19.3 vs nike phantom van club
I used Adidas Mundial normally which fit like a glove (I have wide'ish flat feet but prefer the fit of narrower boots like the old victory v mercurial etc) but I find the mundial's a tad on the heavy side so was thinking about these, my only concern is fit - I cannot play properly unless my boots give me that really tight (like you're wearing a half size too small kinda feel) boots and I feel these might be a little loose around the mid to upper area. your thoughts (or possibly other boots) would be most welcome, thanks.
Should I get these for 90€ or the Mercurial Pro IC for 60€? I already have the Mercurial for Turf and I like them a lot. What are the differences/improvements of the React Gato exactly?

i think it’s possible to play in short turf, it may be a little slippery on making quick turns but they should be alright

Hey Joshua, next year I will be playing for a team that is endorsed by adidas, which means that I won’t be allowed to wear boots from other brands. I’ve worn mercurial for the past 10 years and atm I’m especially enjoying the new mercurial vapor 13 elite. Which adidas boot would you recommend most for someone that loves Nike mercurials? Ps: thank you for making these amazing videos!!
The Nemeziz 19.1 has the thinnest upper from Adidas at the moment, and definitely has a lot of speed boot qualities. The X 19.1 is also solid. Unfortunately, nothing from Adidas or any brand for that matter, really fit and feels exactly like a Mercurial.

The new joma topflex rebound are amazing! Hoping that you could review them since the hype on that shoe is real!
I have them. Cushioning is excellent obviously, grip -same, upper is comfortable as it can be, i really think you cant make them softer upper, there is never BS with Joma. Only downside is theyre wide in toebox and I have narrower foot.
@@eneshadzidedic4368 i have narrow feet too. If the fit is perfect for me damn it will be a good experience playing in them
@@ameerhazman4859 keep in mind Joma runs half size bigger than Nike, Adidas etc. You pretty much cant go wrong with these model if you value comfort and flexibility. You can roll them in hands like burrito, thats how insanely theyre flexibile.
If you want tight fit(like Mercurials) theese are not that kind of shoes.

So I know we all love the Hypervenom Phantom 1, but I never got a chance to try it. Instead, I have a pair of the Hypervenom Phantom 2’s AFTER they went back to the honeycomb nikeskin found on the first one. Joshathan, in your opinion, is the post-upper-change Phantom 2 just as good as the Phantom 1?
It was objectively better due to being more structured, but I personally don't think had the same special feel of the Phantom 1. Still an amazing upper though.
Question: Do you pay for the boots or trainers to review ?
They feel skew or ”crooked” when i play with them , my right foot lands too much on left side and my left foot on right side. They like bend that way and are too skew.

I´m tempetd to get a pair of react gato´s but when I went to a store to try them on feet the last lace hole just bursted when I tried to pull the laces.

dont know if you care a year later but while cleats wont be as comfortable, phantom gx cleats are pretty nice

I've never used grip spray on any boots before, so I can't really comment. I'm honestly not even sure what grip spray is?

Much prefer Adidas Top Sala tbh. Very lightweight, and much cheaper for a standalone indoor boots compared to Lunar Gato, let alone React Gato

How does these compare to the boost offerings from Adidas
While I think Boost is great, I don't think Adi have ever really used it to it's fullest potential on an indoor model. We've some boots with great upper and some with great outsoles, but never the two of those things together from Adidas. Granted, I haven't tried all of their indoor models.

How do you compare this model to Superfly elite?
They're quite a bit different in regards to fit and feel. These feel more unique in comparison to everything else I've tried recently. The Mercs are great, especially if you like the fit and feel of the Flyknit Mercurials. Both are great.
Can you use these for casual soccer on turf ?
Traction on turf won't be the greatest, but you can do it.

Nike React Gato vs PhantomX iii Pro for indoor/street use?
I personally prefer the Gato, but both are solid. It just depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Coming from the MagistaX which I really like, so I'm thinking the PhantomX might be the closest in feel, but may have to try on both if I can before I buy to see for myself.
