One thing that's helped me get rid of stuff is putting it all in a garbage bag somewhere in my room for about a month or two. (Sometimes shorter) if I don't use it or want it still, I donate it or throw it away. Hope this helps!
Ik nobody cares but here’s my story: So I live in Germany and if ur not originally from Germany (I’m originally from Iraq) u don’t have Great chances do get a house/apartment/... . So we found a house, it was all perfect. Everything worked. They said they’ll give us the results in like 1-2 weeks. I was so excited. I would finally have an own room (I have to share a room with my sister and our room is so tiny, it’s actually way too tiny for even just one person). I had so many ideas on how to decorate my room. Watched so many videos for inspiration cause I was so sure we will get that house. We didn’t. They answered us literally 4 days later and said no. Yeah I hate my life dude. U guys don’t know how happy I was over the fact that I would get an own room. It’s not only because an own room is pretty nice to have. It’s because I’m pretty sure it would help my mental health. My sister is so unorganised and I’m so frckn organised. We both r the total opposite of each other. We literally hate each other sm. I cry a lot. I don’t feel okay for 5 years now. I might be only 14 but yes I have problems and issues too. We both never had any privacy. I don’t feel comfortable in our room. Actually our room disgusts me. This all probably still sounds weird for u and might be not a good reason. But it is. I can’t explain it that good but yeah I’m really sad now lmao. Sorry for being kurdish and not German. Trust me if we weren’t kurdish we’d get the house.🙃 btw if u read it all till here, thank u! Idk why u did that but thank u. And if there r any grammar mistakes or sum, sorry English isn’t my first language. I only learn it in school.
I live in germany as well and yea, sadly there are many racists in housing jobs which makes it harder for kurdish, arab and turkish citizens to find a home. It’s unfair and it sucks. I really hope you guys find another house soon and that you‘ll get your own room.
she was talking about how when you open all the drawers at the same time, the dresser falls forward. no babies were harmed in the making of this video lol
yea it used to be a problem and ikea had to take back everyone who ever bought one of their dressers. now you can buy them again and they come with a hook to mount to the wall. i remember when i was younger (not a baby) i once opened all the drawers in our shelf and it started to fall towards me but luckily i pushed it back in time 😅
I took a class on dyeing fabric, and with natural dyes you have to let the dye dry and sit for 24 hours before rinsing in order to let the color set. Mordanting the fabric first would really help too. As long as you don't leave it in the dye too long if you want a lighter color.
I did a really deep declutter in my room a few days ago and let me just say that I feel relieved to have gotten a lot of things that I never used out of the way. I remember always saying “let me just keep this... I’d need it later” or I’d get distracted and try on all the clothes in my wardrobe instead of cleaning. But this time around, I got down and dirty and really concentrated on it. That was solely because I needed to get my mind off of a lot of things. I dont know why I’m saying all this. But the moral of the story is, decluttering and making your space look nice is very satisfying and it makes me feel a lot more at peace ❤️
haha it's basically like the whole "i'm freezing and i should put on a jacket but my outfit won't look good with it" sometimes you gotta make sacrifices for the aesthetic even if it's your own sanity :')
Tips Sort clothing Put away things you dont use take everything out and consider what to keep Clean up built up dust Mobe things out of the bedroom that doesnt belong Try something different on the wall Shift furniture around Vacuum the floors Magic erase the walls Natural dye your bedsheet with red cabbage Use wood markers to renew your wood furniture Add ceiling lighting by making paper lampshade Use clear command hooks to organize cables Use the measure app on phone to level Get a memo board for your desk area Display your books showing the pages Showcase a little personality Use wooden push pins for hanging paper Add a convenient way to store re-wearable clothing A classical guitar display Add a fun knob to hang things Look for vinyage wall arts from thrift shops (Your welcome now go study or do a random act of kindness!! :,)
Try hanging some very large mirrors, they give the illusion of a larger space. Light coloured walls will also make a small space feel airer. The same goes for your duvet cover, a white or light coloured bed linens will make things seem more spacious. You can also use hanging plants to add some life to your room without losing any shelf space 🥰

Just a reminder that clearing out things doesn't always make your room look better! In my experience, more natural, light, and aesthetic rooms like the one in this video work well when they're cleared out with a kind of minimalistic look. But when you have a brighter, more childish (In a good way) room, lots of clutter makes the room look complete. Obviously, not every room applies to this, but its something I found out while going through a lot of different rooms, so take what I said with a grain of salt. Hope this helps! Edit: forgot to mention that if you have a brighter room but have something that you just want to move out of the way for other things/ just more space to walk you should obviously still move it lol Another edit 😭: Okay srry im doing another one of these but I feel the need to mention that I thought it was really funny that this was titled "easy and affordable" and then was also like "buy a guitar to put up" is that just me

I don't think the dye is gonna stay tho... I have watched a video that debunks these methods of dyeing and I am pretty sure that the bed sheet is gonna be white again if u wash it. Plus if u sweat, the dyed sheet is gonna have little pink spots so I am not sure if thats gonna work out with more cabbage. Love your attempt tho
loved the video but you should do some resarch about who Picasso really was, you might not wanna have this man's portrait beside your bed anymmore.... xx
@@engeneeggie688 sure this article is great but there are many more.www.theparisreview.org/blog/2017/11/09/how-picasso-bled-the-women-in-his-life-for-art/ I also wanted to clarify, im not saying we can't enjoy Picasso's art just that displaying his portrait sort of glorifies him and this man should not be glorified
at 18:00 you ask us to guess which nightstand is yours and I believe the first one is because of the bun-maker! The second one, I believe is your husband because of the watches and knives. Overall, this was a very calm and soothing video! This truly gave me many ideas on decorating my room!! Thank you, Krist!!!!!!

“Take out one by one on my night stand”
Takes out all of the books at once
I don't think the dye is gonna stay tho... I have watched a video that debunks these methods of dyeing and I am pretty sure that the bed sheet is gonna be white again if u wash it. Plus if u sweat, the dyed sheet is gonna have little pink spots so I am not sure if thats gonna work out with more cabbage. Love your attempt tho
hi krist missed you it’s crazy how u literally did the video I needed ..
Our rooms pile up like our phones

The paper lantern is such a cool hack! You're the aesthetic Queen of DIY 👌
Just to let you know, natural fibres don’t take to dye well unlike synthetic fibres so this might have been a factor in your bedsheets
loved the video but you should do some resarch about who Picasso really was, you might not wanna have this man's portrait beside your bed anymmore.... xx
Care to educate me?
After watching your new video I noticed I don’t see your uploads, even tho I am subscribed to your channe,l your video’s don’t show up. It is kinda weird but I am gonna watch all the video’s I missed now:)

Love this video! By any chance can you tell me where you got your bed frame? Thank you!
punk tip !! dental floss is a good strong substitute for thread it keeps stuff together super well :}
17:31 where's that poster from?
What lights do you use?
i think you should have let it dry in the sun for the whole day before rinsing it
Your room is gorgeous!! Any tips for someone with a pastel blue room? We cant paint over it right now but I'm suddenly inspired to redecorate!
