I really enjoy watching your close up of how you handle your material . Any beginner should spend time doing so as it answers a multitude of questions.
Pay no attention to those curmudgeons who say your videos are too long. If they want short videos, there are plenty for them to watch. Those high speed videos frustrate me because I want to see the details of how the wood is moved through the blade and how turns are made. I've been scrolling for about 7 months now, so I am still learning, but I am getting better because of videos like yours. Thank you for being a guide for those of us who need the real time look. Blessings, Glen
Im so glad that you take the time and show the hands on process of scrolling. Im a newbie and your videos have been very helpful..i appreciate the length of your videos

You do an excellent job of staying on your drawing lines. I’m hoping to get started with a scroll saw in the very near future. So this is helpful to get a few ideas, of things to try out.
Make sure you get a scroll saw that doesn't require attachments to use painless blades. Feel free to contact me before you purchase. I am mytoyaNcalifornia on instagram.
Hi there, I paint the words on. I have a silhouette cameo. I make a stencil then I paint. Here is an old video of me using a stencil and painting. ruclips.net/video/U0G-lHmTg70/видео.html
@mytoya2 I'm not new to woodworking but I am new to scroll sawing and I'm kind of lost where to begin such as blade size and design and would love to learn this so I can do intarsia! I'd love to have your assistance, thank you! David Brinkley David's Custom Woodworks
Hi there, every video I posted of use the number five flying Dutchman scroll reverse. I ordered from a company called the wooden Teddy bear. I can give more details Saturday when I return home. 🤗
Hi there, do you have a Facebook page? If so find me on Facebook. Mytoya Pritchett. This way you and I can chat in more detail about blades , patterns and anything else Scrollsaw related. Looking forward to chatting with you soon. 🤗
I have a Silhouette Cameo. Something like a cricut. It's a vinyl cutting machine. It's a great tool to use along with your scrollsaw to make unique projects.
I use patterns from books or from some of the scrollsaw pattern makers every once in a while but for the most part I make my own patterns. You can download silhouette or inkscape for free to use for making patterns. Make sure you get a saw that doesn't need an attachment to use pinless blades.
@@Mytoya2 Thank you.Yes without doing some research I almost went and bought junk.I am looking at a Porter Cable 18 inch at Lowes right now.Watched a lot of reviews and it seems to be a nice saw.Comes with a stand too.
I suggest a dewalt 788 of a delta 20inch. It will save you from being frustrated. The dewalt and the 20 inch Delta model 40-690 are the same saw but the delta 20 inch is less expensive. I have both of these saws.
@@Mytoya2 You will not believe it.I bought a Porter Cable about a month ago.Did not use ir really untill today.I had one heck of a time to get tension adjusted.Took it apart. That little bolt was stripped.I took it back right away and got my money back. Now I am going to look at the 2 you mentioned.Lesson learned!

Are you a scroller? If so how long have you been scrolling?
Thank you for you wonderful tutorials. Can you show us how you sand? Do you ever use scroll saw sanding strips?
Yes, full process me please! Lol thanks so much for this!
So glad it was useful!
How do you put the names on? Is that decal letters? You do beautiful work.

Good video good design
Thank you!!!
This is very very nice.
Forgot to ask.Do you ever use the spiral blades. They seems to be very easy to use.
I use them a couple of times a year. I like the crisp clean cuts regular blades give. When I want to make something over 40 inches I use a spiral.

Where did you get your foot paddle from
I got my pedal years ago but if you check Amazon there are all kinds of pedals there. Just look up scroll saw foot pedals.
