👋 hi 👋
Hi Arvind! I'm sure you saw a video posted by someone called Linda Mohan. She starts her video by claiming that she "appreciates your concern for animals"....but in the next breadth contradicts herself. I posted a comment questioning her claims but my comments vanished... which only goes to show that she suffers from the same attitude that she accuses you of.
I admire that you're speaking for voiceless creatures. IEven if I can't go all the way to support you... atleast I don't want to belittle your sincere efforts. All the best! 👍👍👍
What a society to live in where reasonability and compassion needed explaining
😢
I love Arvind. He has the patients to answer questions so rationally to questions that I would easily lose my temper over.
I feel the same. His patience is inspiring. 💚🌱
If Krishna was alive today then he would be definitely vegan.❤

Lord Krishna supported the Ashwamedha yagna by yudhistira & balarama, which includes horse sacrifice at the end…

The student questioning is i believe on the path of bhakti. The most important thing in bhakti is being sincere first... Then we tend to elevate and progress on the path of love and devotion.
The student is just being very sincere because he still does not know how NOT to follow what is written.
Explanation to student from my side: earlier the rishi munis had a completely different way of treating the cow plus there was no globalization. The cow was easily available, they treated her with a lot of love and respect, and she was considered to be very very divine. The cow was literally worshipped. The human and cow had a very symbiotic relationship. Humans took such great care of her that when she produced her milk for the calf, she even produced a little extra as a token of gratitude (love) towards her caretakers because that was the only thing she could offer out of love. ❤
Fast forward to today... Times have changed, there is globalization, everything around is super violent, the cow is treated badly(even if people dont kill her they artificially impregnate which is wrong) , the cows are tortured and feel no love towards their masters due to the torture... Everything is disrupted.
Due to which krishna has also mentioned in the Geeta: CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT and we cannot be rigid we have to change with the times.
Its all about the intention... If there is a dairy farm where the cows are actually treated like family members.. If she is ACTUALLY worshipped (which is an exception case) ... Also FYI.. as per some scriptures they have also mentioned when to consume and not consume her milk(phases during pregnancy) so that it is done in the most non violent way possible.... These things we dont follow to the T right, so lets stop referring to EXCEPTIONS and focus on what is LARGELY happening...
Lets change with the times and maintain our traditions... Instead of just pouring the milk communicate to god with bhakti bhaav and tell him/her " I would love to offer u milk but there is torture involved and i know you also would not like if i tortured one of your kids to get it... Hence i am offering this OTHER milk (almond, sesame seeds, coconut milk) as an offering instead 😊❤
👍👏👏👏

Great job! At 8:28 when he said "But it is mentioned that it should be followed this way!" I was like "DUDE! Did you not hear anything Arvind said?" x) So many times they ask the same things no matter how good we explain it.
The girl in the background goes "ah shit, here we go again" at 03:48 when my man started Brahmin talks 🤣🤧
Probably tired of seeing guys like this give the community a bad name haha
Brahmin talks ? Bro , there is no where mentioned in any books to follow such things he is just making excuses
😂😂 poor girl may be she is Brahmin too
Lord Krishna say in the Bhagavad Gita, specifically, in Chapter 9, Verse 26, he says:
"patram pushpam phalam toyam yo me bhaktya prayacchati
tad aham bhakty-upahritam ashnami prayatatmanah"
This translates to:
"If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water, I accept that offering of love."
So, the offerings Krishna mentions are:
* A leaf (patram)
* A flower (pushpam)
* A fruit (phalam)
* Water (toyam)
The key here is the spirit in which the offering is made. Krishna emphasizes "bhaktya," which means with love and devotion. It's not the material value of the offering that matters, but the sincere feeling behind it. Even the smallest offering, like a leaf or a drop of water, is accepted if given with a pure heart full of love for the Divine.
This verse beautifully illustrates the importance of devotion and sincerity in any offering to God. It highlights that God is more concerned with our inner feelings than with outward displays of wealth or grandeur.
Do u think gita is a book that shows how to worship any god?
Also do u know about Agama , veda ,tantra?
@@somnathbhattacharya2819 yes it is one of the books. Will you discard the whole Gita just because of other texts are present?
@@NiranjanBendre Gita is knwoledge which applicable on that yuga. Its not a book for ritual. Gita is knowledge for Arjuna (who latter do ashwmedha yagya which require horse sacrifice) . As kaliyuga we cant do bhakti (As its impossible , u think of mira bai, she has bhakti) . So that statment not worked in kaliyuga. This explaination backed by agama and tantra
@@somnathbhattacharya2819 so per those books we should reject Gita?
@@somnathbhattacharya2819 Gita is timeless spiritual knowledge and guidance. You didn’t quote anything from scriptures to dismiss that.
While the Bhagavad Gita was spoken to Arjuna, its teachings are meant for all of humanity, as stated in Bhagavad Gita 4.2, which mentions that this knowledge was passed down through the ages.
Scriptures like the Bhagavata Purana (12.3.52) state that Bhakti is the easiest and most effective path in Kali Yuga:
"In Kali Yuga, the only means of deliverance is chanting the holy names of the Lord."
There is no widely accepted reference in Agama or Tantra scriptures that rejects Bhakti in Kali Yuga. In fact, many Tantric traditions include devotion (Bhakti) as part of their practices.
Many other saints like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Tulsidas, and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa also practiced and preached Bhakti in kalyuga. Are you rejecting their work?
You are doing very great service Aravind towards creating awareness to humans. Please continue this.
People need to be honest about what ahimsa means and not rely on 'interpretation'. Same a Christians with 'thou shall not kill'.
Don't be ignorant, stop finding excuses. All animal products are cruel, educate yourself. Be vegan ❤ Dominion (2018)

Another winning debate!🐑🐂🐖🐕🐺🐘🐓🦃
Right to live is the fundamental god given right to any living being.
Parts of culture which goes against humanity and ahimsa (non violence) is adharma (unjust).
If we walk on the principles of humanity and ahimsa then to be vegan is not a choice but our duty.

3:45 Vegan debates Hindu ❌.
Vegan debates a Brahmin ✅.
Only Brahmins should be allowed in sanctum-sanctorum (garbagriham) huh?⁉️
Every Hindu (Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, shudras) should have the access, if they are devotional & follow the faith…
This brahminical mindset is why we still have government education& job reservations in India 🥇🥈🥉
Oh is that why millions of children who are studying in gov.t schools aren't getting proper education as private schools ,due to that many people are flying to private schools and paying huge fee ,where foreign countries lack private schools and most of the children (nearly 90%) are going to gov.t schools and each and every gov.t schools offer finest education, the infrastructure everything is amazing.
And btw no one's reason for gov.t jobs or gov.t schools , it's each and every country's primary responsibility.
Are there Brahmins in other countries ? Then how do they have your so called gov.t education and gov.t jobs.

Call him Aravind. Not sir.
His messages are great, but remember he is just like us who once ate non vegetarian food and drank litres of milkshake.
He one day had his eyes opened, and now he wants us to help us become better people who are conscious of cruelty on all animals.
So remember. Let's not put him on a pedestal. Let's learn to emulate him.
Whats wrong in calling him sir and putting him on pedestal?
If someone is doing something better than us and he want to spread the message..he has to go on pedestal and respected more only then his views will be respected and followed..This has to be done till the point you reach his level of consciousness.
If you are below and still consider yourself as equal to someone better than you this shows your egoistic nature and striving to be in denial of truth. You wont even feel to the need to change because you think all are equal.
No..all are not equal..people with less consciousness should keep the people with better consciousness on pedestal and strive to be like them at every point of life
Religion based arguments is utterly idiotic. The ancient people who chose to use milk or products used them cos that was what was available. Doesn't mean we continue to do it. If you still want to do it, ask yourself if the situation today is the same as it was 10 or 15000 years ago.
Currently India's population is 150 crores, go back 10000 years and our population would probably be just few lakhs. There would probably have been more cows then so little bit of extra for survival was ok. Now it's not the case. Simple as that.
Yeah ,these non vegans never understand...

After watching this video I realized that Arvind is teaching Veganism second and patience first!
I am a practising Hindu who eats a Vegan diet. Been this way for 10 years. So many vegan options now
Many vegans are anti hindu
🙌🙌🙌
We need to understand that our religion changes with more information that is found. 3000 years ago, animals were sacrificed for pooja. Once we realised that is wrong and found alternatives, we used coconuts instead.
When we realised we can grow lots of plant food in the northern plains of Ganga, we ate much more plant food.
Once we realise that using cows milk causes suffering to the very being valued as a mother, we give her the respect she deserves and stop using her as an object.
It can feel new, but it is very much important.
Nahi hoga, Gau rakshak nahi manenge
Good one Aravind keep going 👍 if possible please look into logical reasoning & debating with temple priests & religious leaders, if they understand, they might create a huge impact “ Time to take up the role of Adi Shankara to eliminate cruelty from Hindu Rituals “
Cheers man, good discussion
Sanatan has never been violent it’s just that people has been misinformed & they do not understand their own traditions properly.
The saatvik food prescriptions was to use ‘NATURAL’ dairy products and these were told thousands of years ago when there was hardly any exploitation. In current day none of the dairy products is Natural or truly follows Saatvik principles by any means.
Well said!
Veganism is the only way to go🌱
Dairy has ALWAYS been exploitative. Even thousands of years ago. The idea that dairy ever followed the concept of saatvik food is a lie. Even when we weren’t forcibly impregnating cows, we were still using their bodies for our own purposes without their consent.
In a society majority should have the same attitude towards a certain way of life Only then the practices would be approved and followed
please live vegan 🙏💚🌱...
"Being vegan is difficult in India because it is not mentioned in the Veda" is crazy, as if it was mentioned in other holy books. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all have this specific injunction from God in the first chapter of their holy book: "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you" .
A mass ancient religion cannot be vegan because it would have been impossible to be vegan until the past centuries. It is like questioning why the Veda do not mention if it is fine to use a VPN when looking at SonyLIV from outside India.
Perfect
Don't waste time arguing with veg people
As someone who has faith in Christ Jesus, I've little time for EoG. Veganism is no more than a futile hobby..
[ Will YT allow my comment? ]
I have some questions -
1. Some people say keeping dogs as pet for your emotional needs is also violence to them, they should live in their natural habitat as in home people restrict their natural life like mating and other needs. So even if we keep them as our Friend and love them it's wrong. What is your thought on this?
2. We should not adopt other dogs breeds bcz mother dog is used for breeding and then left alone when not able to breed and on the other hand street dogs have no home. So one should buy a other dog breed or not ?
Plz make a video on this 🙏🏻
Your work is very inspiring, I hope people will understand reality and change themselves 😃
If you are keeping a living being for your own selfish needs like you mentioned you need a friend then thats wrong and it will contribute in violence.
You are finding a friend in an animal because you are empty inside and you want some outer experience to fullfill you and make you happy..
The dog didnt take birth to fill that emptiness inside you its crystal clear. They have there own life .
Your fundamentals are wrong here so the decision you will take will also be wrong.Doesnt matter you keep a dog or dont keep it.
Either way its wrong
✅U r right… keeping pets to find a companion, inside ur house, is totally wrong… a true vegan can never own pets…
A true vegan can however help rescue shelters with help, where rescued animals live in open spaces with their own kind, under the sun ☀️
God doesn't promote violence, if you harm some other living being consciously for your pleasure won't it be bad karma?
With this much violence will we achieve salvation(moksha) in this birth (janma)
Won't we have to repay it by experiencing the same in another Janma?
Not if you realise ataman in this birth itself .
Then your bad and good karmas will be neutralized as stated by krishna in bhagvad gita
Milking or k*lling with jhataka isnt violence
What amazing patience you have taking to these dumb bucks.
simply put traditions exist and were followed at a time where animals werent sujbected to violence as they are now due to commercial practices. Back in the day animals were revered and hence the involvement of consumption of milk/etc was a certain degree of okay hence they are in the teachings although in todays world we look at animals as a products which goes completely against the teachings itself. The traditions have symbolism and we try recreating the ritual instead of understanding the symbolism of it in todays world. we have to adapt and move towards a world free of animal abuse.
It is no where mentioned man , even I am Brahmin, there is no book which says this , stop giving excuses
Well yah that's my question
What if cows are not forced for anything and steel we get milk?
first I thought that girl is overreacting ... but later I have realized.. dude that boy... he is one of the worst brainwashed student I have ever seen ...
Sanatan dharm is all about non violence and knowing oneself..the purest of the scricpture to be followed for way of life are Bhagvad gita, vedas and upanishads.
They always talk about realizing atma. Which is the purest form of consciousness.
And to realize the purest form you ought to be non violent and use violence only for adharma. Even if somewhere it is mentioned to consume cows milk it was mentioned in a ethical and non violent ways. This is what the way of life is according to Sanatan dharm.
When you consume animal based products specially in todays world you are clearly contributing to animals abuse (violence).
So if you are really a sanatan you should strictly follow a vegan diet..period no excuses needed
Arvind is trying soo hard not to say the words stupid and foolish 😅
You cannot say without proof that culture or tradition has come out of one man mind and followed by others. No. Those practice s would have been discussed by eminent people and shared among the societysharing
To put the castiest agenda first is what indians are best. They will care about what happend humdreds of years ago but will ignore the unfairness happening now( reservations they are second coming of brahmin )
😂😂😂😂 these people will do anything but give up their barbaric caste system
One kind word for Aravind, just looking at from one angle of torture and missing life is some kind of stupidity. I agree completely what and why are trying to communicate. And I appreciate you for that fact. But one thing, all that i can say is,is you have not seen life yet. All your statements looks logical and absolutely correct but still they are misleading sometimes . I appreciate your work bit still you need to grow, mature and experience life. Not debating. You can become a pandit, scholar, not a guru who will show light to others. If you want to make impact deepen your experience.
