Thank you for your review. I play at Zen Pinball on Apple Arcade, and Champion Pub is the only one pinball game I remained achievement star. it is so difficult to avoid right side gutter lane every time.
Totally jealous of this game. Always wanted one for my collection. Lately I’ve been just buying Sterns brand new in the box but I would like to look for a champion pub sometime.
Excellent question. The short answer is no. BUT the smart punch throws the strongest punch that is currently lit. So if body blow is lit, then that's the punch it throws. If on the other hand you have KO Boxer lit (by going up each jab combo ramp) it will throw a Knock Out Punch. To light KO Boxer it only takes one time up each combo ramp (the wire form ones). BUT after your first successful KO it takes more ramp shots (3,4,5 etc). So you see me use that technique only once or twice in a game. Because as I'm shooting those combo ramps my opponent is hitting me and my health is rapidly going down.
🤣 trust me I have my moments too. Be sure to check out the past livestreams I've done (there's a playlist) . Or better yet enable notifications so you won't miss the next one.
an excellent question. First if you have any smart punches at all the "launch ball" button will flash while the ball is in play. Second - to see how many smart punches you have - hold one flipper button and watch the display. Smart punches are one of the pieces of information that will scroll by. Also while holding one flipper button you can tap the other flipper button to advance quicker through the information.
Not terrible, but not great as a tutorial. Lot of things not explained (smart punches effects, how to get them, punch/damage correlation, jab combos, etc). Felt like a video for people who already know the game pretty well.
Great pinball machine. This is one table I'd love to own.
The presentation & art design are great ❤️
This one and medieval madness. I love the simplicity of MM but the crazy fun of CPub

You're welcome. CP is an interesting game for sure.

Thanks. It's fun to play, but it gets old in a small collection.
Pinball Mayhem I could see that! The code is not very deep. I guess it’s just a product of its day
I think this is so underrated
I love all the callouts. The linear gameplay gets old if you play this game a lot. So great for larger collections.
Do you use the flipper buttons for the jump rope and punching bag?
Yes
So smart punch allows you to automatically win a fight?

Awesome! Thanks for those tips. This is one of my fave pins, but my secret is I’m horrible at pinball. 😆 You should consider offering lessons.

@@PinballMayhem is there an indicator how many Smart Punches you have?

Thanks for the honest feedback Bob - keep it coming. I like that you mentioned specifics (very helpful). Perhaps a follow up video is in order.
