I literally watched all your other sends, bus, and aux video right before you uploaded this one. Thanks for all of your help, man! Your mixing skills are next level.
When you said "You're just using a bunch of reverb all over your actual channel instead of sending it..." 👀💀 You literally just transformed my entire workflow - I can't believe how much I was doing. 🙏🏾
Really dig your channel. I'm a producer myself, but trained as an mix engineer. Your thought process to recording and mixing while you go is right in line to how I think. I was using Logic Pro X before but switched to Studio One 3 and Ableton Live. Seeing you work within Logic made me realize how efficient I was with Logic. Excellent content.
This is best explanation of Aux, Busses and Sends that I've seen. Thanks so much for posting this. I'm new to recording and haven't yet jumped into this aspect, but am eager to get my music recorded so I can add effects this way. Great "lesson"!
How you doing Sean…. I know about this. But watched it anyway. Because There may be something new to learn. Lol. Sean you need to do a video for us we this tracks vocals. All the plugins used to get it so clean. a great video man. And the track is fire. luv it. London in the house.
This is a great video! Thank you. For some reason I've been having a hard time grasping how to set up, organize and route audio for basic mixing. It was very helpful to see how it is done.
Yes. He helped me alot. Because I have Logic and I'm coming from FL. I've been on FL since 2007. A long ass time and these are 2 completely different programs. But Sean has made the transition so much easier now.
I actually cannot believe I didn’t know this I feel like such an idiot after doing this for sooooo long I still mix on the channel n just copy n paste the channel strip but this makes work flow sooo much easier
Dude you just saved me with this tutorial. I can’t begin to tell you how I appreciate you sharing this video. Good looking out, Fam!! (Notification Gang)
By far the best video on this that I’ve seen. I’m switching to logic when my new MacBook comes so I been stressing about learning how everything works in logic in the case of bus and sends and aux tracks. This just saved my anxiety thank you
Thanks Sean I must admit I had to look at the video a couple of times, but man it was worth it. Your productions sound amazing. Thank you so much from little old NZ down under. Chur bro
Great vid bro I was trying to explain this in a UAD group on Facebook. I got tired and just shared this video. LOL Thanks for all you do for the community.
Awesome video @Sean Divine.. I watch all your tutorials and apply em to my techniques.. would it b cool if u did a video on the mixing on this song in this video.. I want to dig deeper in R&B song mixing and mastering
Hi - a very helpful upload! Would you mind to post the link for part 2 of this feature, thanks. A template/cheat sheet would be so appreciated for non Logic users!
Wow Sean we MusicLuv how you break things down in such a simplistic way that even I can get to it :-) Keep Doin Whacha Do! The why is so important and that's what YOU hit on so well. The SC.
Hi Sean. Thank you so much for the video. You can't imagine how much it helps me. I have a question for you regarding your video, about the use of the Busses, aux tracks and sends. I use a lot of Spitifire libraries, which already come with their reverbs, what should I do in this case with the reverb? What if you don't want to play these presets that come with every instrument in the Spitfire libraries at all? I hope you have made me understand? Please let me know. Thank you
do you have something like this but with analog desk and racks? I am planning to use comp and eq's on a rack instead.. Thanks for the vid, learned a lot btw!
You see people? how lucky we are to have a deadicated man like sean, to help us become that polished person we are becoming.
More blessing man.
🙏
DJ HookMastez truly
Dedicated, yes.
I had to watch your aux, busses, and sends videos a lot to fully get it. Last week I finally understood this and it really does help man!
Cool, I will do the same kanye.. sounds like it worked for u...I'm u before your comment 2 years ago. But I'm gonna learn it
@@SunilMungur still applies till this day. Go for it!
I literally watched all your other sends, bus, and aux video right before you uploaded this one. Thanks for all of your help, man! Your mixing skills are next level.
