Fantastic video! Thank you so much! You didn't kill us with music, graphics, or ranting. You gave A TON of great tips regarding products, fly aways, parting, sealing w/ hot towels, etc. & You have an easy voice and speech pattern to listen to too! 5/5 Stars. I'm sending viewers your way Ms.Lady !...I would like to see you do this technique on coarser hair but I'll wing it. 😆
Thank you so much for explaining thoroughly the science behind the techniques you use, and the products that works best for you. You make it so easy to duplicate the styles, and I really appreciate you sharing so much of your wisdom from your years of experience doing hair. You make a great instructor/teacher. I'm looking forward to your next videos!
i think this is the best feed in tutorial i have seen on youtube and i have seen hundreds. This is great work. Now i want to really learn to do hair. Your hands are amazing.
Lisco Lin awww thank you! I'm glad I could be of inspiration to you. Idk how well you already are at doing hair but in your learning, I say don't be discouraged. I learned as a child but I know it's usually harder to learn new things as an adult so, stay persistent and you'll get it! 😉
It's Me Miss Ruby I learned to braid/ French braid as a child as well but I’m just now starting to really learn to master my feed-ins. Is there any tips you would give someone at my stage of the learning process?
Great tutorial, this was very informative. I've been looking at various videos on this style cause I have 3 daughters and I want to give them an easy braided style for summer and I struggle with feeding in the hair but this video got me where I need to be honey. Thank you
I think I found my braid twin! I do 95% of the stuff you do, especially the hot towel! I never went to beauty school though. I discovered it on my own I few years ago. Best hair technique ever ! Lol
Nicely done ,I like how you changed your hand in a different pattern,I am struggling with doing how you have started with it in the beginning but I will keep on trying
my heart broke when you said to straighten your hair first before doing this hairstyle since im trying to take care of my natural curls and grow out my hair lol glad you stated i can just blow dry my hair instead
I do the exact same this from over hand braiding to under hand bRaiding and it grips it good. I do my gfs natural hair often and she loves how they last
i dip my ends n use the towel as well am not a professional thou just a do it myself kinda person who can't afford the salon n product but thanks this really helped
This was amazing thank you so much, I'm sorry if you already made a video and I just didn't see it but can you make a video on how to dip the ends? Thank you!
IM SHORT TOO!! 😂😭 I'm 4'11 and this. Video was really helpful I needed to know how to make sure it wasn't a huge knot at the beginning and how exactly to add in the hair😘 THANK YOU SOOO MUCH
Do you separate the same amount of hair for each braid? Like I want to know how to make and the end the same length because they always come out different.
Honestly there's no rule about this. You can have as many small or big braids as you please. If you are aiming for this EXACT style, there should be an equal amount of small to large. Just do one after the other and you'll end up doing it right.
Did you film this with a go pro? I'm always looking for the best angle to film with and I love how your video gives a stylist point of view. By the way, great job on this vid! Very detailed and helpful! ❤️
I can do this on someone else. But no one wants to let me practice on them so I have to do it on myself. I have such a hard time parting my own head 😫 any other tips besides using the gel?
Good question (I used to wonder this too) but no, it actually helps it lay down a bit better, similar to how dipping the hair lays down the frizzies. The main reason I do it is for the steam release to loosen the tension a bit and maximize the sensation of the spray oil. Most clients say it feels great after getting their hair braided. However, If I was dealing with a client whose natural hair frizzed out of the braids a lot, I'd avoid this method just in case....sometimes I use mousse to lay the hair down instead.

looks great! I use vonte products too! I have found the clear has a stronger hold than the blue.
Thanks! And yes the clear one is called "edge effects" so it's their version of edge control which I sometimes use along with the blue too.
Do you separate the same amount of hair for each braid? Like I want to know how to make and the end the same length because they always come out different.
Girl u did SO good I wish I could do this🤦🏽♀️my lil sister asking me to do her some feed in braids that’s why I’m searching this
how many small braids per big braid? I've been practicing this style & each time I end up more more braids & not enough small braids or visa versa.
Honestly there's no rule about this. You can have as many small or big braids as you please. If you are aiming for this EXACT style, there should be an equal amount of small to large. Just do one after the other and you'll end up doing it right.
Music And Beauty TV thank you! I'll be trying this on my own hair
Love this thanks so much! Can Vonte's be found in beauty supply stores or can only be ordered online?
