- Our entertainment reporter Olivia Marks sat down with Christian Bale and Harry Melling to talk about their new film, The Pale Blue Eye.
Hear why it was hard for them to say their lines at times, how Christian distracted Harry on-set and whether they're fans of poetry themselves.
Harry Melling deserves to win best supporting actor at every award ceremony this year ,one of the best British actors on the planet ,fantastic portrayal of Edgar A Poe ,cannot wait to see what he does in the future 👏🙌
I agree !! He should go far in his career 😎
So thrilled that Harry is getting on to some great adult roles. He's always been very talented. Loved him as Dudley Dursley.
@@Cyberlucy omg, he's dudley😳

Harry is turning into one very fine actor indeed
I’d love to see these two in a movie again. Melling is an amazing actor.
An Oscar for Harry Mellings performance as Edgar Allen Poe would be most appropriate !
Christian Bale was low-key using his Batman voice in this interview.
It’s unfair how good looking bale is
I’d watch a sequel . The chemistry made me feel so good it was all so satisfying
I just love Bale, he's my absolute favorite A-Lister ever. I will watch him in anything.
Bale has been looking much more relaxed and friendly of lately. Gorgeous man
I love that the reporter talks to both of them and not just Bale or fangirl like others interviews
I'm the fangirl?
I just finished this movie and was absolutely blown away by Harry Melling. I watched this because it contained a favorite actor Christian Bale and a favorite writer Poe, but Melling was just astonishing and mesmerizing. Give him all the awards. I can't wait to see what he does in the future. I was also blown away that this is the same actor who played Dudley, I'm sure most people are. That's only a credit to just what a transformational actor he is. I doubt that the Harry Potter gig will be his most popular role for very much longer.
they’re so cute like cuddled up together giggling lmfao
Harry Melling was amazing, dude killed it. Need to see more movies like this, tired of the marvel shit
Harry is so sweet and so is his laugh. As for his performance, I have rewatched the movie for his lines. Amazing performance, i think he must play again a Poe role, it suits him so good. Also I think the period roles suit him, it seems like the manners of the time and the gentle behavior comes natural for him. Christian Bale is still a god, I also loved his performance. The final talk between E A Poe and Landor is heartbreaking, and the line where Landor told him that he wished Martie met him at the Academy ball was just ... melting my heart, I was in tears. Loved movie and I loved Harry s performance. Can t wait to see him in another movie, maybe a second Poe part ❤️❤️❤️
Harry was my favourite in Harry Potter, my kids favourite line is "Daddy's gone mad hasn't he! " I'm looking forward to seeing him in this, great actor. Also Christian Bale snapping his fingers in The Dark Knight & saying " I own the place " is one of the best lines in cinema I think. ❤
we adore harry ! brilliant witty and fun
wow, bale's voice is fried....
I really enjoyed Henry's acting as Edgar Allen Poe. Going to watch the movies a second and just focus on him. Truly mesmerizing. And of course love Christian Bale.
Holy shit, that's Dudley from Harry Potter?! 🤯🤯
From a small role in HP, Now his career are more succesful than the rest of HP casts.
These two have done a phenomenal job. Can't get over how I loved watching this movie. These two deserve 10 folds over with awards. They are also so humble. #handsdown
I'll be damned if Bale isn't getting back to his fighting weight. Wonder what his next role will be. 🦇
Loved Harry as Poe!
0:15 “We felt that way too!”)) Oh my, what a man!
I actually swooned at that moment. 😅 Christian is too attractive for his own good.
Great interview! Good job
Harry Melling...Good Lord, what a revelation!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love Bale and all his work, but this time Melling is absolutely magnificent 🥰🥰🥳🥳 I'd love a sequel with these 2 gems

Harry Melling was ROBBED of an Oscar nomination. Yes, I said it
Bale looks better again like before 👍👍 the bushy beard Was aging him.
Agreed. Though he has always looked great
I like all the ways he looks
Harry is an amazing actor, best than Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson or almost any of the actors of his age on HP
Harry Melling brilliant performance. I would love to see more Poe films 🎥.
Great interview ! Love them both and they were enjoying . love the movie Christian Bale is my favorite actor !
Christian Bale’s natural accent startles me every time.
Bale, how sweet is that 😘
Wasn't such a great fan of the movie, but I loved Harry interpretation,he's a very talented actor.
More movies with these two together please!
Excellent movie with a few twists. A slight 'shark jump' near the end...but probably necessary for the plot to finish.
Saw the movie a couple of weeks ago. Amazing young actor playing Poe.
This guy fuckin played dudley in Harry Potter...... Shocker absolute
Um Actually, Christian, it's From Fievel an American Tale. Goes West is the sequel. XD This whole interview was excellent!
I think I may be in love with Harry melling
👍
🙂
I realized his name is Harry lol
I like your voice love 🩵
😍
Bel film
How the f**k does Bale grow his hair!?
There is an old Hollywood trick for this. It's called "don't cut your hair".
A great come back for Christian Bale. just like Brendan Frazer, RDJ and of course after being derailed for a bit...JOHNNY DEPP!!!
Christian Bale never went away
Film descended into predictable cliche nonsense in the second half.
Just watch the first half and turn it off.
Yeah I agree. Maybe the author of the novel could have found out a better way to explain why the hearts were being cut out. But I enjoyed the film anyway.
Why is Chritian Bale looking so done?
