    You mentioned Kroil. I've also had extremely good results using brake fluid as a penetrating liquid.

      You definitely should. I plan to do a video on how to fit the repro stock to a MK II. Many of the MKIIs have stocks that aren't worth the risk shooting with & better to shoot it with a repro, display it with the original.

      @@tfusilier44 i think u should make a specific video on how to remove the bands and wood on each of the different marks. I think it would get views. A actually iraq vets video was on a mk 4 so it didnt help me much lol. But i was able to find one article about it and got it taken down. My band screw is frozen but was able to wiggle it over the pin. And there was one video on how to remove and assemble the action but the quality was so low its hard to see how the tumbler and cocking indicator go back in

      @@tfusilier44 yea i would love it if u did! And maybe make a breech block on that explains putting the tumbler in right, the cocking piece, and setting the breech block itself back in after. The only video i saw didnt go into detail about those

    I purchased something similar from IMA but a noticed splotches of orange and yellow paint on it. Would anyone know what that means?

    • @tfusilier44
      @tfusilier44  Год назад

      Where was the paint located on the rifle? Any particular shape or design?

      @@tfusilier44 Thanks for your reply, the splotches are indistinguishable and was on the wood and metal. I suspect that IMA marked it because the barrel is clogged.

    Would you recommend one of these as a collector and then shooter? Was wondering if the condition is pretty much the same across the board or not.

    • @tfusilier44
      @tfusilier44  2 года назад

      Pretty much luck of the draw. The MKIVs tend to be in good shape since their service life was pretty short.

    • @b9brutality

      @@tfusilier44 would you suggest getting an A, B or C? The A model certainly is the rarest, but does that matter?

    • @tfusilier44
      @tfusilier44  2 года назад

      @@b9brutality as far as condition I don't think the model numbers would matter. For collectability the pattern A is the rarest and allows the use of a socket or sword bayonet. But if you want one that had a new made barrel vs a .402 conversion you can go with a Pattern B.
