Great game, Portugal came on strong in the second half and could have had a handful of goals with a bit more fortune. Pagliuca saved Italy once or twice, then the post, then a dubious offside decision (Bruno Pizzul concluded from the replay that it wasn't offside, though I think it's debatable because there was at least one player at the middle of the edge of the area running back to an onside position and it was him/they that the officials surely considered to be offside). Lots of great play by both sides, Futre was very dangerous. I was impressed with Semedo's attacking work as well, I barely knew his name (because I have never been familiar with Portuguese club football) but he showed some good attacking flair for a player whose default position (in this game at least) seemed to be a deep central midfield one. Barros missed a great chance on the end of a fine move in the second half (initiated by a superb run and cross by Futre). Wow, I'd forgotten Dino Baggio's superb long range goal in the second half!
