Just put these on my wife's CUV. Glad to know they seem like they will last. Can't put them on my vehicles (Toyota FJ & Honda Civic). Although there is a size that would fit my Civic, and it is tempting, I think next tire I'll get the civic is the Falken ZE950s. My FJ has Wrangler Duratrac tires.
Sounds like your anxious to spend money! In case you don’t know, those Falcons have another 15-20 thousand more miles in them. Save your money. They are a great tire
Yea, 3 Peak is a rating the tire company can slap on the tire without any standardized testing from an independent standard setting body. The rating is not regulated by government agency.
So if you got them after in between 1/20-1/21 they did a mid production compound change that severely impacted traction especially in snow. I live at 9400 ft in Colorado and have run two sets of Duratracs and one set of BFGKO2’s. To be honest these Falkens have no business still having the snow symbol on them. They have very little traction on snowpacked and icy roads. They are nowhere near the caliber of tire that Duratacs or BFG’s are in the snow after the compound change. They are fine on the highway and dirt. Not impressed in mud either.
“These have been really good in the rain. Actually, we haven’t had any rain“, LOL
😂😂😂😂

10/32 not bad. My ko2 were 3/32 and 4/32 at about that mileage. Should go to 40-50k easy
How’s the weight difference from the ko2?

I have 46k on mine. Still got life. I need to rotate them . I honestly didn’t know much. So I’m afraid I’ll need another set.
Rotate every 5k miles or every oil change :)
How long ago did you buy those Falken? Thx.
Is c load the ht?
With the severe snow rating - can I get by without chains on highways if it's a 4x2?
NO
How many ply is your tires??
Load C 6 ply
Does it snow where you live? If so, do you have a locking differential? If not how does it handle in the snow?
Not directly where I live, but about 1.5 hours away in the mountains it can snow during winter pretty good

Heard the same thing about the compound change that drastically affected grip and wear in a negative way.

Center caps came stock with the wheels
What size are your wheels and offset man?
17x8.5 -0 :)
