I have a 4 piece band. Vocals, Guitar, Bass, and Drums. Is it possible to do a video an how some of these systems could be setup for a band like this. I'd like to know if these portable PA systems can be expanded to include floor monitors and other considerations like that.
And for what it’s worth, remember the old, “you get what you pay for” adage? Well the Alto stuff was cheap and a friend insisted I get a pair of powered 15” Alto speakers with Bluetooth built in, spec for spec roughly half the price of any comparable. Even though I left one of these non-outdoor powered speakers in the pouring rain and had to dump about a gallon out of it, that speaker still works fine. Unreal. And they sound very good, and get very loud. So here you get MORE than what you pay for. Then there’s Wharfdale. You couldn’t PAY me to be seen with anything with that name on it. Nuff said
I have the Alto ts315, for the money they sound awesome, however I blew the tweeters in three of them at one time, which I’m attributing to a bad surge protector.
as a sound engineer and someone who has setup and mixed for outdoor venues before i will give yall some honest advice. if u are doing any outdoor gig. band, dj, etc. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING UNDER 1000 WATTS. ive been tricked by many big box guitar stores into getting a portable pa with 600w, 400w speakers etc. do not buy them. they will not be powerful enough for the application you will be using it for. and tbh, if u are expecting a lot of people at your event get a 15 inch pa and pair that with a 18 inch sub.
I have those alto ts315,s and did the live sound for a band last night and one of the speakers has blown. 1st time I’ve used it out live and it wasn’t mega loud tbh
The title should say, "The 9 cheapest PA systems and speakers we sell." Five 2" drivers. 10" subwoofer. That sounds just like my TV soundbar system. Come on, you guys.
Still prefer Bose F1 model 812. Sounds fuller, less harsh & pleasant to ears. Bose does make hole in bank, but that's acceptable. Recoverable overtime.
What are some better (much better preferably), high-end audiophile grade PA system? We use Schertler for acoustic and Jackson Ampworks for electric, and wanted something comparable in the larger scale PA realm. Tried JBL, and a few others, but they are relatively poor audio quality. Want great tone, excellent rise time, phase coherency, etc.
I’m clearly too old for me to possible call any of these near power enough for my studio, (maybe 1 or 3) let alone out doors. Where sound waves drop and disappear about 3.5mm past the cabinet.
Most of these are coffee house and very small venue PA systems ok for single or duo acts not enough power for a live band with everything running through it
Misleading. Ok, playing the devil’s advocate, what do you guys think it means for a PA speaker to be an “outdoor PA”? To me that means it’s weather rated and can live OUTDOORS in the real weather and will not suffer.

Number 10: QSC K12.2 drop your dollars on the best of the best!

No highs, no lows, must be Bose. And compared to anything with QSC written on it, not even close.
@@andrewhigdon8346 What about HK Audio? They sound very clear quality to me 🤔.
QSC Nr 1!!!

I was thinking QSC made the cut for sure! :(
