So exciting this time of year anticipating the garden. Thanks for sharing your compost ideas. I grow some of my veggies in 5 gallon pails and other similar sized containers. In addition to my regular compost, I do something called composting in place. I put vegetative scraps and other plant material in the bottom of the containers, then put my completed compost and soil in, and plant the tomato on top of it. As the season goes on, the plant material in the bottom of the pot breaks down and feeds the plant. I do composting of kitchen scraps in large metal trash cans with a pipe down the center and holes drilled in the sides for air flow. I have to do that because if I try to compost on the ground it brings in bear and raccoons. Happy growing! I look forward to seeing the rest of your garden go in. 🌿

May your garden bring so much abundance this season!
Keep up the good work 👏
Compost is such a garden game changer and so great as it’s all free! Adding some worms really helps too.
