I've actually had a lot of success gecko moria chaining Rebecca into the ST14 Nami. As long as you're at or under 6 cards in hand, gecko replaces themselves thanks to Nami. Keeps the card advantage high. I've been running a combination of 10 cost Kuzan. ST14 sanji and finger pistol as removal. Opponents can't keep their big beaters on board. Also allows brook to clean things up easily. Beyond that, the deck strat I run is very defensive. Lots of blockers for disruption.
Would be interested in deck list. Nami seems solid off Moria.

What would you replace the 5c Blocker Sabo with? I’m using the SR Nami from the starter so I can keep a blocker that might be able to draw a card. Sabo is so expensive
How can you pair Sanji with Robin?
You need 11 don at least to combo together
Sorry not sure if my explanation was clear there but if robin is already out from the turn before - you attack with her and then play Sanji which will then be able to ko anything that had 9 cost or less

looks like a good list! i want to try to see if i can fit zombie luffy into this list for trashing borsas/sabos, but i feel like the 5 cost slot is already a bit tight in this deck
I would honestly rather have 6c Brook. I played some games with zombie Luffy at my locals and didn't use his skill once. Plus Borso is automatically gone with 6c Brook without needing cost reduction and Sabo only needs a Tsuru or trashing a Toy Soldier on field.

I made this deck and proceeded to get smoked by my first three opponents. I mean, they weren't even close. The only "win" I got was against a Moria who auto-conceded before the game even really began.
Anyway, I'm going to keep practicing with this deck. I think it has a lot of potential. Thank you for the content.

There were 1 or 2 loses in between but wanted to have gameplay up of the deck doing what its built to do. Its defiantly not a super competitive deck and takes a bunch of practice. Does help a lot if you are familiar with your matchups so keep playing and make tweeks that suit your play style. Ive played a few tournaments with this deck, not won any but do have more wins than loses
very true, no search is not great but it does have a bunch of draw cards
It's a good st deck & can make moves can't wait for future cards for +cost - cost etc let's see what the future brings

New jack from op08 is an auto inclusion & gecko moria should be a staple because of 8c
@@getsuga10shou47Jack fills out the deck nicely. Gecko doesn't really have a good place in this deck, unfortunately. You don't need 8c cards for the leader skill because it gives it +1c instantly so you'd only need 7c stuff or 6c Straw Hat if you have stage out.

I am new to the game I just have a question regarding the Thousand Sunny stage: Does the +1 cost only affect characters on the field or in the hand as well? Like would I have to pay 5 don to play a 4 cost with the stage in play?

Only the characters on the field. If it affects the cards in your hand the effect will state that it does. There are very few cards that effect the cost in hand

What kind of sleeve do you have on the leader?
It’s an ultra pro mini snap. It will fit a standard card with an inner sleeve on it. I’ll try and have a video up in the next few days going over what I use to storage and or me decks
Everyone I know uses these for their leaders. They are absolutely amazing!
Also they shouldn’t be more the $1.50 usd if you see it for more they are scamming!!! Because everyone uses them for one piece some shops bump the price up it’s gross
Have you tried putting 2 Stussy in place of Sabo for now or fitting 7c Luffy in there?
I haven’t tired stussy but I have tried running the 7c Luffy. The effect is good to be able to attack active characters but I felt it was too slow because the turn I play it that’s all that you would be doing where as with Sabo I got instant benefit from playing it
Looks pretty fun, it's going to take me a while to get the sabos and brooks but excited to give it a try
Yeah the sabos are pricey but you can sub in the usopp from the starter deck for the brook. You could use the Nami blocker instead of the sabo as well, its a block with a draw 1.

Looks like a mini snap card holder. I use the Ultra Pro ones myself for all my leaders, and the leader card fits even with an inner sleeve over it.
